The Letter
Aysun was laying in the shade on his back, toying with the piece of paper in his hand. It was a simple sheet of paper but it seemed to hold so much weight to it, didn't it? To the point where he found himself uncertain of how he should feel about the contents of the letter. There was a part of him, a small part, that was a little upset by it. Not because of what it said but because the letter was given to him by someone that had decided to flee soon after. He wasn't allowed to respond straight away so instead he was left to mull over it instead.
It was as though he didn't understand love. In fact he'd felt it before in the past. Once upon a time ago he'd thought he'd found the person that was the one for him... but he'd ended up losing that person. After that he was sure that he'd just end up like his father, a man that loved, lost, and moved on with his life. A man that would end up on his own in the end but he would have a purpose that wouldn't leave him feeling lonely. Now that he found himself faced with this proposition from Issaly he actually found himself considering the idea. Allow Issaly close, closer then just a friend or fellow pack mate, allow their two packs to merge, and then... Just thinking about the 'and then' actually made the scruffy man flush a bit.
Was he over thinking it? Was it something that he should try to discover by having a meeting with Issaly when he returned from the journey that he was on? A shame that he didn't know that he was going to Oba ahead of time, he would have fetched Rajani and accompanied them both to Oba's border. She wanted to get a pet there after all... but at the same time she was skittish around others so it might not have worked out. She might not have liked traveling with Issaly since he was male. No, when he decided to go to Oba with her it would likely just be the two of them... well, the two of them and Aysun's various beasts that was.
His mind started to race. He wondered if he should talk to someone about this... but came up with a bit of a blank as to who he should talk with. Chandra didn't seem like an option since he seemed to be up in arms over finding out about their father's liking of other men. Would that mean that Chandra would come to dislike Aysun for the same? He didn't think he could talk to Rajani either, she didn't seem the sort that was interested in such things. That left him with... hrm. His father, perhaps? Uncle Takoda could also work... or maybe... maybe his mother? Hard to say though. Would she be upset with him for falling for the exact same sort of his father had in the past?
It might be best for him to just mull it over while waiting for Issaly to make his appearance instead? That way he wasn't hassling others or risking inciting them. Especially when he wasn't even sure what he thought about it all. Issaly was a good friend after all, one that helped to pull him back to when he was acting the part of a loner off in the middle of nowhere in Tale. He was back to his normal self these days... even though that still involved a lot of time on his own in the middle of no where. At least he return to town from time to time for supplies more now then he had in the past. As such that meant that Issaly did in fact mean something to him... but was he willing to risk it? Especially since it would be so different from the last person he'd had a crush on. The last time around he'd been young and stupid, his version of fighting had been picking fights with that other person, which wasn't something that he felt would fly with Issaly.
Lifting a hand he ran his fingers through his messy hair. What to do, what to do? He supposed that really it was probably best that he just waited. He could focus on the ever present work that went along with his building his house while waiting on Issaly to return from his trip! Not as though he could really do anything significant until that point after all. Hard to figure all this stuff out when the one that wrote the letter was gone after all. There wasn't much else that he could do until then, huh?
Pushing up to his feet finally he set to work folding the letter up and tucked it away into one of the packs that was hanging off the nearby tree. He'd keep the letter safe, make sure nobody found it on accident, and be sure to talk to Issaly once he returned. He hoped that it was done soon as he didn't know what he thought about him being away for so long alone. He could only hope that he stuck close to Abysio and the other beasts so that he would remain safe.
Giving a whistle he called for a beast of his own, that being Maw, and said, "We are going to go to Jauhar for another load of wood soon. Time to get your harness on so you can drag it for me." He told the beast, giving him a pat on the head before getting to work on just that.

Chiavi
Aysun had never really had any reason to consider going to Zena before. The place was a bit on the cold side which meant that even if he wanted to go that a lot of his beasts wouldn't be able to come along since it was too cold for them to be safe. As such if he were ever to go to Zena it would just be Aysun, Flower, and Sunshine, that was it. That made him not really want to go... until very recently. He was in a marketplace within Jauhar, picking up a few things while he was there fetching more wood for his house, when he saw a new beast. There was something that he'd never seen before there, a beast called a Chiavi. They were adorable creatures that lived in Zena and instantly he was in love.
He was actually ready to pack his bags and head out on his way there... before he realized that going to Zena would be a lot of work. Not to mention that he didn't want to leave before Issaly returned. Would he want to go to Zena though was the question. He'd just be getting back from his trip after all and going to Zena would be an even longer trip then the one that he was on now. He might not want to go, might want to stay with his brother even if the two of them seemed to butt heads a lot, and he understood. Despite knowing that Issaly might not want to go along with him he felt that he should still talk to him about it. Not to mention just vanishing wouldn't be a very good thing for him to do, especially given that letter that he'd given him before he... well, vanished himself. If they kept disappearing as such they would never be able to talk about the contents of the letter.
Thus he had a lot of time in which to try to figure out exactly what it was that he was going to do. He talked to his Uncle and Aunt, the latter of which was actually around his age, and they had agreed to watch his beasts that couldn't go to Zena with him. Knowing that they were in loving hands would make the travel to Zena a bit easier and he'd be able to go on the adventure knowing that everyone was safe back home, being taken care of by those that would love them as much as Aysun himself did. After the trek to Zena he meant to go out on a Chiavi hunt, wanting to seek out the birds, and if he was really lucky catch a little one for himself.
It had been some time since he'd gotten himself a new beast and the cute owls were something that he really wanted! As such he meant to go after one. Traveling there with Issaly, getting his help to catch one, or maybe the two of them both trying to each catch one, it would be fun. Well, provided of course that he wanted to go. He couldn't get ahead of himself too much he told himself again and again. It was up to Issaly if he wanted to go on a second adventure so soon after the last one but if he decided to come along... well, that would be great by him.
He'd have to be patient though. He would wait for Issaly, they could talk about the letter, and then they could talk about the trip. A shame that waiting wasn't something that he was all that good at.
