Personality: Yuuri has never had the best of luck in his life. Believing that he was once a two-legger royalty figure he now walks in the body of a soquili. Personality: The regal prince arrived one day from the distant lands of the eternal sand. Quite taken with the color and vibrancy of this land he decided to make his stay his home within the richness of this new world. At times he is quite brash with others leaving his heritage to blame, but deep inside he is just another soul looking to belong. Domineering and extremely headstrong he hates to lose any sort of competition or game. However, He will become more sincere once he is comfortable with someone and protects those he deems worthy. For those he doesn't trust, Atemu can be highly manipulative and seem so much stronger than he is.
Background info and/or History: Pharaoh Atemu is based on the character from the Yugioh series. He is designed after the Pharaoh of course who everyone knows in modern-day as Yami. He is one of the greatest Duelists ever known.
Pharaoh Atemu or Atem for short as he likes to be called has a story dating back from the Soquili knowledge. His upbringing in the desert kingdom opened his eyes to wonder when he was merely a foal growing into royalty. Little is remembered of his family other than their allegiance to the related kingdoms and the ties binding them to humanity as Soquili has come to terms with the name two-leggers. Within such a fine kingdom prospering with wealth and ideals the young Prince first met his future selected neighboring fillies of one he'd choose a suitable Queen. Many were too excitable, nor interest was shown, then others to their own devices proved unsuitable in his presence. None piqued his curiosity until he saw her illuminated by the ravenous flame high above them. She stood out in her own right a Goddess before him both beautiful and exuberant.
From his interest in the one, he named "Beloved Isi" they began training together through combat, studies, and complex enigmas only each could solve.
Upon one day nearest to the great river during an intermission the young Prince announced his love for that filly declaring she was his future Queen. Demanding utmost pride Atem dreamed of the days in adulthood they'd stand proudly beside one another looking outward at their future children. She, in turn, called him "Aty" confused he'd chosen so soon but accepted his proposal herself thinking of being a Queen by her mate's side.
Fate though turned opposite when things turned wayward for the great Kingdom forcing the Pharaoh two-legger to sell his finest creations. Atem's betrothed was removed before him one destined day escorted out by guards with a golden rope around her neck never to be heard from again along with the other consorts. Sadness settled inward for such a Prince only longing to see his love once more.
One fateful day news traveled to the falling kingdom that the mares that were sold were killed in war letting Atem fall deeper into a void than the Pharaoh who was losing everything he prided so much in. When Atem was finally grown into a stallion he surpassed his family taking the status of King finally. In Isi's absence, Atem grew bitter if not more competitive finally being freed from his kingdom. Still lost in a void he found a way to travel to the New land leaving his broken heart far behind him.
Arriving in the new land he blindly set out for a Kingdom of his detesting winter looking for solace in the hotter regions. Within the mountains, he discovered the desert land suitable for a King yet nothing grew there except sparse plants. Within his adventures, he met Blake, a free-spirited mare who traveled with him for a time. Later, he was to become a father bearing children with Blake. Within that time Atem began to dream of his long-lost love vibrant as he was suspended thoroughly within his memories. Though a faded image she seemed real as her voice called out from the great beyond telling the lost King to find her. As more dreams haunted him Atem questioned if Isi truly was dead. Seeking answers he vowed to listen to the elder's advice as he met his faithful guard Kiros. Upon seeing the elder he realized his heart spoke the truth in visions and revelations. Promptly, he accepted the visions feeling a presence upon the horizon.
