 The skies explodes with colors as the sun began to rise above the horizon, chasing off the darkness and the night off and on the cliff, a small fluttercorn stood there waiting to greet the new day. Romance's slate gray eyes sweeps over the small area that she claimed as her own home, not too far away from her parents Montego and Solace. The frigid weather seems to warm up slightly when the sun came out of the hiding and Romance is determined to enjoy the perfect weather today. A blue jay lands on Romance's nose and chirps, telling her that there is some winter flowers that is already in full bloom not too far away from Frosta's mountains.
Romance nickers lightly to the blue jay, thanking it for the information as she flutters her butterfly wings experimentally to make sure they didn't get frozen during the night. She dances over to the very edge of the cliff and jumps off, letting her wings take care of her and carry her up high into the skies. Romance began to hum cheerfully as she flies toward the mountains, occasionally swooping down to sample on the berries that grows on the bushes along the forest.

 Rockin' Beat was worried about his brother these days since he and Melody had wandered off in their own selfless bliss. He wasn't jealous of the lovebirds, just lonely thinking how he was on his own again. His other siblings were finding other pastimes and he too desired that sort of life. Not so much to seek out a partner but enjoy life to the fullest when given the most perfect chance. If he could fathom the thought of a friend it would amuse him away from that boring feeling as it nipped at his heels.
Actually knowing how winter was in transit to arrive, Rockin' knew that nipping was Mother Nature herself sending a chorus from the higher mountains. Soon the white blanket would lie about as a soft mantle amongst the land and all its inhabitants. He tossed his head when breezes blew by musing at how playful they were... but nothing could of prepared him for the sight that nearly took his breath away.
Beautiful.
Shaking his head he narrowed his eyes at such an illusion till he finally realized this vision was indeed real. He stepped in a curious manner toward this dream as he gazed intently trying to understand what he was seeing.
Such a frail yet strong little mare that floated like a feather upon the wind. Wings of softness so large and delicate helped her glide easily to where her heart desired. In her beauty the unicorn merely paled and grew monotone as her softness overtook his own vibrant hues. Moving slowly he began to follow her, his head craned upward to gaze upon the fluttering movements she was using to carry her along. Soon she would be out of reach to hear him.
Galloping after her he smiled calling out, "Hello little butterfly what carries you so far from the warmth of spring and summer?" he grumbled just then thinking how Cotton his brother could of spouted poetry as if he were a cascading waterfall.
Would she return with an answer or simply ignore his friendly invitation to say hello he wondered. Hopefully she head him as her wings lied still for a moment letting her catch his voice along the wind.

Romance smiles as she looks down, admiring the variety of colors below her but she blinks when she sees a stunning stallion standing there among the colorful trees. She didn't pay attention to where she is going and almost collides into the boulder but the sash rescued her by snagging on the branch. She squeaked and flailed around to stay afloat in the air then she manages to regain her composure and balance. Red tint graced her light blue cheeks as she turns her head toward the stallion and she laughs while floating toward him with a smile on her face.
The mare have learned that there is no use to blush and hide whenever she fumbles in front of other soquilis, its better to laugh it off and hope that the soquili that caught her fumble will laugh with her. "My family resides in the area away from the warmth of spring and summer" Romance replies in her musical voice as she beams up at the stallion. She noted that the stallion is just as big as her father Montego but more handsome and she hopes that her father doesn't catch her thinking like that. Blushing once again, Romance didn't bother to look away as she watches the stallion in front of her with a smile on her face. "My name is Romance.. its my pleasure meeting you." She bent one of her front legs and bows in respect.
A blue jay that chirped to Romance earlier decided to be her little songbird and sit on Romance's sash, eyeing the stallion suspiciously. Romance glances at her little sidekick and chuckles lightly, nickering to it that the stallion in front of her is gentle. She nips at the crest of the blue jay, encouraging him to sing for her and the stallion. "This is Jay.. my little sidekick.. he loves to follow me around and sing about the nature or my beauty." She eyes the blue jay who have begun to sing about the beauty of the mare he is perched on.

Beauty couldn't of been much more reality to the unicorn male as she approached him so freely. Her voice was indeed a lyrical muse that perked his ears to such a softness as if she was spring herself. His strong yet sensitive eyes looked her over quite in earnest as he smiled back at the little gem before him.
Lowering his head in a regal way he intook from his brother he introduced himself, "You may call me Rockin' Beat Miss Romance. A pleasure to meet you as well".
Ah such a beautiful ring to her name as it lifted from his tongue and muzzle so full of adoration. True he was nothing like Cotton butRockin' did have his own appeal with others. His romantic praise was outdone by far from his brother though.Too bad he couldn't spot poetry that well like his brother. Pondering he wondered what to whisper to this delicate flower.
Flicking his eye towards the jay he couldn't help but chuckle. "Greetings Jay...you have quite the lovely voice as does your companion."
The stallion fumbled with his words wondering if she could tell he was indeed nervous. He grinned almost in a silly fashion then looked toward Romance with an eager attitude, "So Miss Romance.... what do you like to do for fun? Care to accompany for a little walk?" he asked with bright hopeful eyes. For you see Rockin' wanted to get to know his companion better. It always helped him understand the other and yet fully learen whom they truly were.

Romance's slate gray eyes roams over Rockin' Beat's body, noting that he is blue with interesting designs along his shoulder and back and he have a silky looking beard that made her want to reach over and nibble on it to see if it is tasty as it looked. She caught herself as she was leaning over to his beard and she quickly moves back with a small chuckle while red tint graced her light blue cheeks. "Rockin' Beat... a fitting name for a handsome stallion like you." She says with a smile on her face. "And its my pleasure." And she genuinely meant it.. it is her pleasure bumping into him.
The fluttercorn looks at the jay as he sang the song with a smile on her face then she turns her head back toward the stallion, noticing that he is nervous just like her and it calmed her down little bit. She blushes at his compliment as she chuckles while moving to his side. "Name it, I probably do it for fun." She laughs as she tosses her head to get snow-white hair out of her eyes then beams radiantly up to him. "I would love to accompany you for a little walk, Rockin' Beat. Walking is actually one of my favorite things to do because it is so.. peaceful to walk around, and enjoy the company and the nature." She says with a content sigh as she smiles up at him.
"So shall we?" Romance says as she stood patiently by Rockin' Beat's side, noticing that she is two heads or so smaller than him. And the fact that she feels very comfortable and safe when he is around. Resisting the urge to snuggle up to Rockin' Beat, Romance did a little cute dance as she moves ahead of the stallion with a giggle.

She was a bit smaller then him, but standing there so close Rockin' realized Romance was average height next to him. She was so delicate and yet she was strong and full of happiness as her name suggested.
"Hmm well you like walks so there one thing. I wonder if your voice can trill a melody, or how you love flitting and gliding along the wind like I just witnessed a bit ago" he mused with a deepness that flowed from his chest, "I bet you like sweet things like apples as well."
A winter breeze shifted by both of them as the stallion smiled, "Of course now that you accepted Mi'lady Romance." Alright he was being silly and he knew it, but Rockin' also remembered how his brother had somehow won his mate's heart like this. So what gamble wouldn't be worth it to be a little suave and win her heart.
"Alright then where shall we go?" he mused glancing every so often at the creation before him. Like an angel painted and dressed in such exuberance he couldn't contain himself. Delicate as the summer butterfly she simply was amazing. For a moment the stallion stood there watching her trot ahead of him, her feet almost leaving the ground beneath her in a delicate yet beautiful dance. But he snapped to following after the beauty leaving him behind. Cotton had found the love of his life, but this angel that had floated among the wind was surly winning the bold stallion's heart the moment he laid eyes upon her. He just had to be delicate and smooth and learn more about her.

Romance laughs as she beams up at Rocking Beat. "I love to do all of those things you just mentioned." She jumps up into the air and floats toward him, trilling a lovely melody she just made up for him just now. With a cheeky grin on her face, Romance dances slightly in front of the stallion before she lands back down on the ground with her wings shimmering lightly in sunlight. "Apples?" The fluttercorn immediately perks up as she looks up at Rocking Beat with a huge smile on her face. "I love apples and pears. But if you don't mind flowers, honeysuckles are my favorite snack." She moves backward in playful manner, dancing away from the stallion.
For some reason, Rocking Beat brings out the exuberant and carefree side of her out with a bang and Romance doesn't seem to mind because it feel perfectly natural to her. Romance shrugs as she looks around at the suddenly beautiful environment with a smile on her face. "We can walk toward the sunrise.. or we can walk toward the colorful ocean..anywhere is fine with me." She grins cheekily at Rocking Beat, obviously teasing about her flowery words. Romance wouldn't mind going right into the volcano as long as the suave stallion is right by her side which shocked her because she never had any of those kind of thoughts before with any of stallions she met except for her best friend Pyry.
Romance's cheeks darkens as she realizes what she was thinking and she turns her head toward the rising sun. "Lead the way." She says with a laugh after she gathered her composure back together and smiles at the unicorn. Romance occasionally glances up at the skies, to ensure that her father is not going to swoop in and scare him off like he did with others.

He saw her delicate as a flower as she drifted away from him. A simple gentle petal that danced among the clouds that rose high above her. The stallion was intrigued if not smitten by such a lovely little gem. Perfection that spoke with poetry as the motion was portrayed. A beautiful farce of love and laughter that couldn't be described ever even if one kept it lightly upon the tip of their tongue. Rockin' Beat was genuinely infatuated and gradually not realizing that he was falling deep in love.
He nodded his head gingerly then stepped toward the sunrise. She was so beautiful and her carried interest in him was amazing. "Why don't we visit the ocean while chasing the sunrise?" He chuckled holding back the urge to nuzzle such a flower as she swayed lightly among the breeze.
"I think the ocean shall be a good adventure and perhaps we'll find you some honeysuckle along the way, " he commented taking steps where his feet stepped quite heavy yet in a debonair sort of way, "A beautiful lady such as yourself would deserve only the best such as the delicate aroma of such a lithe flower. Come let us begin."
Yeah it was putting in on thick he knew it. Thinking as good as Cotton usually did was tricky, but Rockin' studied his elder brother quite fondly. Words that spoke on strings of rhymes and reason had to be the soul purpose females loved the overly pink male dressed in sparkles and luck.
Maybe just maybe his brother's mentoring silently was just what the stallion needed and helped to find such a flower as this one.

Romance giggles as Rockin Beat returned her flowery comments with his own flowery comments and she just realized that Jay, her blue jay is long forgotten and is looking really ruffled. Her slate gray eyes shot Jay an apologetic glance before they returns to the hypnotic blue eyes of the stallion that is slowly capturing her romantic interest and heart. "Sounds very lovely, Rockin Beat. I would love to do that with you. Its funny because the ocean is right beyond the sunrise." She replies with a small yet dreamy smile on her face.
When Romance was a filly, she followed her parents Montego and Solace to the small cliff under the full silvery moon and watched her parents share a sweet romantic moment where they cuddled with each other and told each other that they love each other. Romance wants that kind of romance for herself and she is determined to find her 'knight in shining armor' but where ever she goes, there is many stallions that tripped all over their hooves just to get a good glimpse of a delicate blue fluttercorn. With a smile, Romance glances up at the stallion that is keeping her company and nods. "I would love to see if there is any honeysuckles growing along the ocean." Romance says as she impulsively moves closer to Rockin Beat without even thinking about it. Everything she does with the stallion she just met feels so natural to her.. almost like she was put on the earth just to be his mate.
Romance blinks as she jerks her head upward, staring at Rockin Beat's side profile with wide eyes and automatically lowers her eyes to his chest so he wouldn't find her staring at her like a deer being caught in the upcoming headlight. Romance takes in a deep breath as she refuses to let her imagination run away with her sanity. But she could imagine her life being perfect with this perfect stallion by her side as they watch their offspring play in the tall grass. A pleasant shiver ran down her spine, causing her to shiver in pleasure.

Once again his mind trailed only for a moment to his brother thinking on the poetry and wonderment he used to capture his lovely melody and forever make her his. Granted that whole thought was a little corny but in the same course of thought this beautiful maiden falling for him was music to his ears.
Why shouldn't the son of two wonderful parents have such a pretty creature by his side he mused.
"All in good time," he whispered to himself.
He motioned his head towards the East where the ocean lay so she would know which direction he chose. Stepping closer to her he gently brushed her left flank in a smile knowing she had been watching him more and more while being less conspicuous. The thought was quite amusing and yet satisfying knowing she too had taken an interest in the bold proud stallion.
"Well lady butterfly shall we head this way then? I smell the salts that are in the air and I know the honeysuckle is there too!" he announced looking very sure of himself. He of course knew honeysuckle grew at the base of the woods nearest the sea. It was the perfect spot to show such a gorgeous lady how much he really liked her.

Romance's cheeks darkens with red tint once again as she felt him brush against her left flank with a smile and she looks up at him with a now shy smile on her muzzle, not hearing the words he whispered to himself. "We shall, my knightly unicorn." She says with a laugh as she smiles up at him, her eyes dancing with happiness. Her butterfly wings intentionally brushes against the stallion's body while she nuzzles his neck, tickling him little bit by nipping him with her teeth lightly.
"Mmm... honeysuckles!" The words purred out of Romance before she could stop herself and she blushes once again, laughing up at him. "Race you there!" She gave him a quick kiss on muzzle which is very impulsive for her as she leapt forward, running ahead of him with her laughter ringing out in the air. "Maybe I will play fair and not take off flying!" She calls over her shoulder as she turns around, trying to trot backward while watching him with an exuberant grin on her face. "Come and get me, if you can, my knight!" She winks at him as she flutters her wings when she felt a patch of rocks under her hooves and she didn't want to trip/stumble and look like a fool in front of her love interest.

He was so memorized by her he lost sight of her running ahead of him. Grinning he chased after her not entirely admitting he liked the view he got to see. Not in a bad sense mind you but he wasn't a perverse male either. Pulling his head out as he lengthened his strides he eventually caught up to her side as his hooves deeply pounded the ground.
"Fancy meeting you here Lady Butterfly. Were you thinking of flying away just now?" he responded running a full speed next to her delicate gait. Thick designed muscles formed and worked his long legs sending him outward in speed that was undetected. Yet he was pacing himself as he always did purposefully keeping near her side. Seeing her run with those wings flaring outward made him smile for she was indeed a butterfly so sweet and fragile racing amongst the wind.
The definite smell of honeysuckle grew nearer but he wished this romp to never end. Rockin' was falling in love more then he realized wondering if his brother felt the same about Melody when he first fell like he was falling from a high place. He loved this feeling and dared it never to leave. In time he's announce his feelings but for now let the wind speak for them both as the scent of ocean filled his nostrils.

A laughter bubbles out of her muzzle, Romance didn't bother to try to outrun him because she enjoys running by his side and she slants her eyes toward him coyly when he spoke to her. "Mmm.. perhaps." She giggles as she flutters her wings, floating few feet ahead of him. "Perhaps not." She says with a teasing voice as she lands gracefully (which she is thankful for!) with a sly teasing glance shot over her shoulder at him.
"I am part of the wind, my knight. If it calls, I shall reply." Romance winks at the stallion before she starts running once again with her wings flared out and her sash flowing behind her, blending in with her tail and mane. "Honeysuckles is nearby! Maybe I will let you feed them to me." She smiles at the stallion that is quickly catching up with her, digging more deeper into her heart and soul and she hopes that he does indeed feed them to her.
Everything seems to freeze in the place as her eyes meets with her 'knight's' eyes, and she could hear her heart thumping nosily in her chest, she began to wonder if that's how her mother felt every time she lands her eyes on her mate. Romance always desired the love that her parents had and would get this pang of longing whenever she sees the looks her parents gave each other. Her cheeks heats up as she suddenly broke the eye contact with him, and swerved in time to barely miss the tree that was coming up really fast.
"Oops. I should pay more attention to where I am running uh?" Romance laughs it off as her cheeks continues to darken with unknown emotions.

His eyes trained on the lovely vision as his ears picked up on that lyrical voice. She was almost like a little wave of water in color and form yet light as air as she teased him. He smiled with admiration shaking his head, "Lady butterfly how you tease me so. If you were to fly away how would I soar into the clouds to capture your heart?" he said in hard yet even breaths as he easily raced alongside her.
He tossed his head as his feet pranced his his stride still admiring her lovingly. "Feed you? My Lady Romance all you need do is ask of me and your wish would be granted. He let out a long call not as lyrical as she but yet he was livid and full of rapture. The closer they neared the ocean her flowers were even closer.
Seeing her almost collide with the tree he snorted nearing closer as he ran beside her practically touching her flank, "That was close. Are you feeling winded? Perhaps we should slow down for our prize is over this hill. Can you smell the aroma Lady Butterfly?" he asked though his voice was deep and loud. The more he was with her the more he loved her. Trying to shake that feeling he was understanding his feelings more and more. It wasn't right though to assume and he would never push her to answer such a query. He had to wait till the right time, he just had to.

Romance tries not to blush at his question but she failed while the red circles blooms on her pale blue cheeks. "You don't need the wings to soar to capture my heart, my knight." She laughs at him breezily as she finally takes off hovering close to the ground and Rockin Beat since she found herself reluctant to be far away from him with her wings flapping occasionally to keep her afloat. She playfully brushes her body against his body while she whispers in his ear, "who said you haven't captured my heart yet, my knight?" before she zoomed off ahead of him blushing madly.
"All I have to ask, uh?" Romance laughs as she tosses her head and let out a call that blends in perfectly with her knight's voice. "That sounds like a lovely thing.. having my knight heed every wishes of mine." She smiles at him while she lands on her hooves once again, breathing quite heavily since she have been exerting herself more than she usually did. But the gradually increasing strength of honeysuckle scent kept her moving as she runs along Rockin Beat's side. Everything seems to be so magical.. the sun beating down on the ocean and her knight's body, making them sparkle and the warmth feeling that is spreading through her body isn't from the sun at all.. its from the stallion that just managed to snag her heart in matter of hours.
Romance giggles as she grins at Rockin Beat to show him that she is all right but she suddenly stopped running and starts to walk very slowly. "Oh yeah.. very winded." She laughs once again as she smiles up at Rockin Beat gently. "The aroma is more stronger now." She says as she struggles not to blush and beam at the nickname he gave her. One of her butterfly wings brushes against Rockin Beat's back lightly as she moves closer to his body subconsciously with a light brush of her muzzle against his neck.
