(in this rp sulfur still a foal as i still working her personality out)
Sulfur's tail lashed about in boredom as she followed her mother. she didnt know what her cunning mother had in mind for today. oh her father was easy enough to predict but not her mother. wrinkling her nose, she followed her parents every order and dared not disobey specialy when it came to dear mother Cynder. " mother what are we doing?" was all she bothered to ask for the time being.

Like Spyro knew how to hunt the stupid moron he was. Chasing down prey was fun yes but it also left you wide open to be revealed in your intent. Which really what was the use in being a killer if your only idea in life was playing with your food. No she wanted her daughters strong and full of wit when it came to dealing with her enemies. Keeping her eyes peeled she was searching for the right type of prey that would be both filling and most of all rewarding to both her and sulfur. Her daughters were still hatchlings and yet they like her had the ambition to be vicious killers full of intent and malice.
Sulfur was of course the more direct one than her sister but both appealed to their mother. It was a wonder that she had thought or rather pondered murdering them before they took their first free breath.
Noticing a herd of deer off to her right she hissed quietly, "Sulfur... I will teach you the correct way to hunt and kill. Enough of playing with your food like your father unless you want to starve my dear. We will learn and execute the correct way. Are you ready darling?" she grinned as her head snaked toward the herd, eyes flickering green with a deadly malice that would soon prove successful.

Sulfur ofcourse kept following her mothers everystep and made sure to watch her every move while also listenign to her everyword. ofcourse she was more upfront and direct with what she wanted and that was how she was when she attempted attacking rabbits or small prey. "ofcourse Mother." grinning back, she liked how her father hunted but she also wanted to learn her mothers way of hunting also which could benifet her in the end. tail lashing in excitment, she kept her eyes on the prey infront of them while also listining for her mothers instructions.

Cynder hissed as a bit of smoke escaped her nostrils in anticipation. This was the reason she loved being a predator rather then the hunted. The sheer feeling of fear as the prey snorted and fidgeted was her forte in delicious torment of the poor unsuspecting beasts. Exhaling she grinned widely "Now your tail isn't as skilled as mine yet but watch carefully and learn how to not exhaust yourself in gaining a meal." Sneaking upon the herd she breathed with much eagerness letting them sense her. As they started to run the dragonness swung her tail full force directly into the ribcage of a stampeding buck knocking him senseless as he stumbled downward struggling for balance his mouth bleeding from the internal damage. Cynder looked very pleased as she swung again.
"Notice how I used nothing but my excitement in knocking the poor thing senseless dear. Your father seems to think chasing things is agile and precise. I say he's moronic. Why waste a breath if the food comes to you I ask."

Sulfur was watching every move her mother made as she watched her hunt and also listened to her every word. sulfur was young and was easy to mold into what her mother wanted her to be. eger to please her mother, she was quick to agree. " ofcourse your always right mother." tail lashing about she couldnt wait til she was able to do what her mother just showed her and ofcourse she was still her father's child as she did enjoy some of his tactics in hunting.

At least one of her daughters wasn't anything like that moronic purple pest. Honestly why did she ever decide to play him as a pawn, when she herself became the targeted laughing stock. Cynder agreed her daughters were strong but they were lacking something and she didn't know what. Seemed her youngest was more drawn in and yet she was a prominent killer like herself. Sulfur was the more direct one making her mother smirk and laugh silently inside of her own potential.
Foals yes but so much in store for the siblings. This Cynder fully knew.
Now her gaze returned to the confused beast as it was staggering around lost and dazed. She mused how even in a mere breath of death this prey still fought for its existence.
Useless.
Swinging her tail again she raked across the shoulders and back of the deer slicing in her graceful menacing swing. Hearing it cry out in agony the dragoness sneered with a sinister laugh, "You poor poor dear. If only it were that easy. Ah but your death is not in vain for we shall feed in your glorious life's passing." Calling her breath in that molten gullet she spewed flame so it covered the beast in a furious heated blanket. Charring flesh in its stride the creature screamed in futile agony then collapsed with one last cry.
The dragoness turned to her daughter and nodded, "And that is how you make things pay my dear. Make them wish they wanted death quicker then you may give." she hissed looking very pleased at her charred perfection, "You will grow Sulfur and when you do you will give them pain as I have. Come let us feed then you will bring down a fawn to show me what you know and execute in a moment's notice."
Leaning her head downward the dragoness ripped and teared at the charred hide till she found the heated innards devouring them gleefully with much pride.

Sulfur gave a crackling laugh as her mother seemed to mock the creature before finishing it off. "ofcourse mother." grabing her own fill from her mother's kill, she couldn't wait to beable to learn more skilled ways in hunting from both her parents. licking her muzzle a few times, she was happyly full now.

Licking her muzzle the dragoness felt quite refreshed still hearing the panicked cries from her now dead prey. Its major organs were devoured leaving a hollowed bloody tinged corpse lying there afterward. Some flesh still hung on the ribs and hindquarters, but for the most part the thing once called a deer was merely just a memory stained in its own blood.
Stretching the dragon looked to her daughter proud she was a listener and not some gung ho moron like the sire. Sulfur would like herself make any male tremble in her wake. Spyro may of tricked her, but Cynder was content with the outcome. She thought to herself how nice having sons would be as well. Male heirs looking more like her would be better anyway. While her daughters were mostly purple she pined for a black one in her own likeness. A vicious sort able to strike fear in the hearts of her enemies. Oh yes they would pay in time... that was a must.
Snorting she looked to her right in the distance. Seemed the herd had regrouped and carried a sufficient amount of fawns for her daughter as "playthings".
"Come Sulfur.. teach me what you've learned from both you father and myself. Do not disappoint me now.." she hissed waiting to see just how menacing her daughter truly could be. No remorse nor compassion is what created the ultimate killer.

Sulfur now moved away from their meal they had and over to her mother. it would never due to disapoint her dear mother who had high expectations of her and she would make it her goal to make her proud. keeping her wings to her side, her tail though kept lashing about in anticapation for whatever her mother wanted her to do adn she would carry out what she wanted. looking up at her mother, she was proud of who her parents where though it was obivious her mother had a distaste for Spyro.

Spyro. If he were anything more then amusement the dragoness would of killed him ages ago Teaching her dutiful daughters to chase prey was unheard of really. Honestly, if you had to break a nail or claw to get your meal it was so not worth it really.
Well she supposed he could show them his way of predatory nature but to Cynder he was a moron. Ah well she put up with him didn't she, that was the main thing.
Seeing a fawn separated from the herd wandering about made Cynder anxious, but she waited patiently letting Sulfur to do the attacking this time. The creature was scared and lost which was the most perfect time to strike fear in its puny little brain. Grinning she stepped closer to her hatchling to initiate approval.
"Now my dragonling we shall see what you have learned. They are quick but this one is lost to its herd. Pitiful yet perfect. Now... demonstrate what you have learned."
Eyes intent on her daughter she smirked and sneered eagerly to see the bloodline finally achieving what she sought. A killer worthy to help her enact such sweet revenge amongst those that truly pisssed her off royally.
