Hmmm...
Cozen wandered around with his nose in the dirt. He was hoping to find something interesting, although nothing had come up. Yesterday had been spent the same way, the same as the day before that. Instead of being social, Cozen was much more comfortable exploring by himself. If only he could find something interesting...

Delsin didn't know what he was doing but he wanted to observe these bugs. They were too small though and he couldn't think of a solution. Staring at the bugs intently, the stallion wanted to know where they went once they disappeared into the ground. He couldn't take his eyes off of the ant hill. He kept his distance though because he knew from a first-hand experience how a large amount of ant bites could hurt...
He was so busy staring at the ants, Delsin didn't even notice the environment around him.

Suddenly, the stallion noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. There was a trail of ants a few feet away from him. The insects weren't too interesting, but there was nothing else in the immediate area. So with his nose still an inch away from the ground Cozen walked slowely over to the ants and began to follow them.
Before he knew it, Cozen was only feet away from another stallion. This came as quite a surprise seeing that he had not seen anyone before. From looking, it appeared that the other stallion was on the same mission of watching the ants. But the other seemed so absorbed in the process, Cozen wondered if it would be rude to interupt.

Staring at the ground, Delsin zoned everything out and heard nothing but the sifting of sand as the ants walked. What were they doing? Where were they going? All animals had one goal, survive. What did he do to survive? He didn't have to work nearly as hard as these ants were working. Food was given to him when needed and basically everything was easy for him to get. There was nothing that he really needed to work for. Was that fair?
His train of thought was interrupted when reality tapped back into his brain. Shaking his head, Delsin turned around looking at where the noise was coming from. "Oh, hello there." He smiled softly and looked at the other stallion curiously waiting for a reply. The other stallion had a spot around his eye? That was strange and the stallion's hair was curly. That was strange too. Then again, everything was weird to Delsin.

After only a moment of waiting, the other stallion looked up at Cozen. At first, Cozen was afraid that he would be upset at him for interrupting his ant watch. But this wasn't so. "Hello," Cozen returned the greeting and added, "Are you watching the ants too?"
Cozen couldn't help but look this other stallion over. After all, he looked quite different than himself. His tail was long and was coated in stripes and he wore a strange necklace around his neck.

Delsin was pretty even-tempered and really wasn't bothered by anything. He loved basically everybody because there was no reason to hate? Delsin nodded at Cozen's question. "Yes, they're actually really fascinating. What about you? Are you watching them too?" Delsin turned around and looked back at the ants. He didn't think that was being rude because he was at least still talking to the other stallion.
