Why wouldn't she have to do it again? And why was she lucky?
She guessed she was a lucky ghoul.

The small shadowed girl didn't wait for her question to be answered, growing used to it even after a short while. She moved on, holding onto the soft glowing orb as she looked for others. Apparently that was what they were made to do. Gathering orbs.
Others around her seemed to be having trouble, while the other others seemed to be finding them with ease. The feint pulse of one caught her attention, even after she was attempting to follow someone else, so her path detoured to where it lay under what seemed to be a door.
Viola'i ducked under it, pulling it from the concrete prison until it gave way.
"You're the first of us to go.... sure you'll do so well..." She heard. Soft, proud, older. She did not know who it belonged to, like the voices from before. Nor did she linger on it, she simply pressed on.

"She said... something..." his eyes grew distant for a moment before returning to the grey, shadowy figure across from him who's name, apparently, was Tiek. "About something old... I don't know. I can't remember. Um! Well I've taken to calling myself Ryjer. That sounds like a name, right? Why do we have them, anyway? I mean... why are we here? What happened here? Where we put here to fix it? Cause I don't know about you but I don't know where to begin with electrical and I have no idea where we'd find enough stuff to clean the place-"
He was babbling. He didn't even know what he was talking about. The endless barrage of questions was back and it was leaving him restless and anxious.

Impah grabbed the last fragment, finalizing her form. She was petite...as she looked over herself. With large mountains on her chest. Huh.
"I love you Amphi..." The voice whispered, so sweet and so sad. Who...Who could it be? Who was Amphi?
Impah let the fragment go as memories slowly faded into her. She wanted to talk to people. People? She wanted to interact more. She would have too.
After she offered these fragments to the goddess...she would come back. she would talk to the others. Whoever they were.

"Warm," Omega repeated with a tilt of her head. "I don't think I know, no...And that's a no-no!" How clever! She rewarded herself with a little giggle. But the girl had a nice smile, she thought, even if something seemed asymmetrical about her face. Maybe the imperfection was perfection? She blinked at the cluster of lights, trying to approach but watching them disperse before she drew near.

Although his face was shadowed out, perhaps someone would be able to notice how his face lit up when he managed to grab another orb. “Ah, finally! What a pesky little…” He murmured to himself at first, but then pressed his lips together as soon as he realized he was thinking aloud. He didn’t want to bother the others around him, that was for sure. Ikait held the fragment closely as he leaned forward to listen to what peculiar snippets it would bestow upon him this time. There was little he could extrapolate from the sounds of book pages turning, but it was a pleasant one. Even soothing. Perhaps he could find a book to read in his own free time. Smiling softly, he straightened up and searched for another orb.

It was only a short moment later when he managed to snatch his next orb. He grinned as he looked down at the fragment, curious to know what would come up this time. The sounds were quite different this time. Someone wiping the floors? Steam? Almost like a bathhouse. Someone was speaking, going on about the customer this and customer that. Ikait couldn’t understand.

Although still confused by the last fragment he picked up, Ikait managed to grab his final one. This one was just as vague as the last. He could hear someone—someone rather cheeky—as boots crunched against the snow, but the conversation didn’t last long. It had already faded out. “Huh.”

The next one she found under a pile of rubble, once again after haphazardly following another shadow about. As if taking their scavangings, but he hadn't spotted it so she did herself.
It was tricky to get, being stuck under so many blocks but after a little bit of give, the small shadow managed it.
"Empty? Ahh well... you can have my coin if you want." A male voice, Viola'i blinked in surprise from the new sound that echoed in her memory for such a brief moment. And he had sounded so disappointed, and for what she was unsure. In himself? In the find, or lack their of? Or having to give up something? Was it even taken, she had to wonder.
Was a coin as good as a blessing? Something to ponder about as she continued her search, finding someone new to follow.

Of course, to feel warm she probably needed some of those lights...she felt too shy otherwise to approach the goddess, if that was who she really was. She needed to know who she was first! Sort of! Or at least shine brilliantly.
Unfortunately, the lights were toying with her practically.
"Pesky!" But Omega laughed instead of grow frustrated.

Looking around the city, Amir Rose pauses as she just gazed around. It wasn't like anything she seen before, that much she was sure of. Right? Taking a few steps, she pauses as if she was debating on what she should do now.
It was at that moment, she see the tiny shard like object just a few inches from her. Something about it, made her want it. With a few quick steps, she moves to it and picks it up off the street.

Okay maybe if she copied the form of that one...He looked tall! Lucky, maybe the long limbs helped in this task...Either way, she watched him for a moment and tried to mimick his casual approach, eventually grabbing a light before it slipped away.
Rather than words this time, Omega caught sight of something very...colorful. She knew innately it wasn't hers, but before she could decipher why she was taking it, the flashback ended. Hmm...
