With another miss the figure fell to the ground with a sigh.
A short rest was in order, and maybe some more contemplation. It was clear others were following the same task as him, but were they for the same reason. He wondered what their fragments had to say, and if maybe their words were more complete than his own.

Errand grabbed the next fragment as it passed close to him, and he brought it close to listen to what it had to say, if only because the words seemed to mean something, but he was at a loss for what.
"Your sister..."
What even was a sister? No matter, there were more to find!

The next fragment Krona encountered moved beyond him as he went to grab for it, causing Krona to stumble slightly to right himself with a grunt. Shaking his head, the grey humanoid didn't like missing out on the fragment.

Huh. That's explained it. Then again, four more to go. It should be easy-

Luring others with her three didn't quite work out. In fact, she almost lost one or two of her own in the process. Best to keep these three close.

Hmm... With all the peoples here, getting fragments is starting to be hard.
Eir watched amusedly when two shadowy figure, obstructed in the fog crashes into each other while chasing a Fragment. The fragment flew his way, almost hitting his head dead-center. There's no way I can catch that! grumbled him inwardly while dodging.

The fragment was taunting him, barely out of reach but no amount of jumping or trying to draw it closer would work. Obviously it was not meant to be. No worries - there were plenty more, or at least so Krona thought.

With a bit of rest Kieyrr stumbled back on to his feet and readied himself for another go at orb catching.
"They can't all avoid me, ri-"
His words were cut short as an orb flew past him, startling him enough to send him back onto his rump.
"Or maybe they are trying to kill me..."

A name this time it would seem. As random as the second fragment that was associated with it as it resounded from out of nowhere and only served to confuse Vettey even more. Were these experiences shared by others as well or unique to her alone?
She was starting to wonder to herself, using her hands to dust herself off before she went after a shoeless humanoid figure instead of another shiny orb that floated remotely close to her current position. "You there... hey!"
