And then she was here. Ralifa was unsure where here exactly was, but from the looks of it it was an unfamiliar place. At least she couldn't remember if it was familiar or not.
The floors were uneven, there were twisted paths and spires.
All around her tiny pinpoints of light seemed to float about. She reached out a grey, wispy hand and grasped one. Opening her fingers to feel the warmth of light. "Home..." The word resounded in her head. Home? Was this her home?

Kieyrr wasn't so sure what he thought about his new surroundings. It surely was different, yes. The scenery was unique, and there was more red to be squinted at, but part of him wanted to flee back into the darkness. At least there he felt more comfortable and at peace, if peace could be found in such a place.
Holding his breath, his shadow took a cautious step forward into the twisted new world. From the corner of his eye he could make out what seemed to be a glowing object on the ground.
Curiosity can be a bad thing, but this time Kieyrr would take his chances. He reached out and carefully wrapped his fingers around the orb, and within an instant he regretted his decision.
"It's best to-"

"Maybe I am just easily hidden." She answered a bit, giving her a small laugh as she went to sweep up her fourth shard, a soft feeling overwhelming her, another voice charming her from the great abyss, holding it in her hands.

And, for the first time, Finale was brushed up with the loss of a shard, watching it skitter away, dulling in to the grey abyss, lost forever.

It was clear these orbs knew something, and one way or another he would figure it out. And with that his task was set. How hard could it be to catch the little critters. Was critter even an appropriate term? Something told him no...
Brushing that thought aside he stood still until he saw movement once again. Another orb, and hopefully some kind of answer. Quickly, he reached out and snatched it with some care.
"Seclusion"

Now they were just being silly. All she wanted was to gather all the little things and hold them closer. To feel their warmth, to bask in their glow. These ones here did not seem to want to join the one she had now.

Krona Novas Divot stood in the Spire, watching as others passed and gathered the fragments floating about. He too would seek the fragments out - if only to prove his worth. So it was that he began to attempt to gather them.
He grabbed one firmly in his hand and pulled it close to him he listened to the words it spoke. "Shea, that cow..."
What they meant he did not know, nor did he care. He'd just gotten one and that thrilled him deep inside. Keeping it close, he sought out more.

He stared down at the two shards in his hand for a moment. The words they granted him made no sense, especially when compared to the first that were presented to him when he first awoke.
For something so small they seemed important, and most of all...warm. It brought him comfort in a strange way. He needed more, so he moved on down the path and saw another.
Being careful with his steps he reached out only to see it try to evade. Luck was on his side though and he caught it in time.
