Ethereal Armor: Leaenarian Breastplate

This Ethereal Armor is designed specifically with this specific Sailor Leaena and perhaps those who follow, in mind. It is an ethereal breastplate with the Leaenarian Crest emblazoned on the chest right under the chin and has Cheetah Designs featured upon it. It's colors include black, gold, and the color of the Leaenarian Savannah. It is designed for a young woman. It lasts only for 2 minutes and can only be summoned during battle - and only then once per day. It does nothing for magical attacks, protects against all sharp attacks, and puts a minor barrier for blunt force - that is, she will still feel blunt force attacks, and may still receive heavy bruising - but it will be considerably lightened.

Hobbies:

Crocheting - This is a hobby that Leaena does in secret with his brothers, or sometimes with Sailor Pasithee. He really enjoys it, and it takes his mind of things. He often crochets clothes for young boys whose Mothers neglect, because they are boys. But if any Warrior Women found out about this; well they already don't take him seriously as it is.

Weapons Training - As a male Senshi living in Female dominated Leaena, Leaena is not taken seriously as it is. But Leaena works hard at weapons training attempting to earn the respect of the Women around him. None of them see him as an equal, but he hopes that someday they will.

Virtues:

Passion: Leaena has a passion of fire that ignites when anyone is wronged. He will fight until the wrong is righted, and until justice is served, even if he feels he has to do it himself, in his own way. The fire burns away any fear.

Loyalty: Bonds may be hard to create for Leaena but once created, they are pretty darn hard to break. His squad, his friends - none of them can escape his loyalty, as he will go the ends of Leaena and beyond for them.

Flaws:

Anger: Leaena has a passion that ignites, but has trouble putting out the flames, before trouble arises. The fire burns away any conscious thought, and at times he hurts the ones he loves and/or is trying to protect.

Jumps to Conclusions: Leaena usually doesn't wait for an explanation, he makes one up, and usually embarrasses himself. He sometimes hurts those closest to him in the process.

HISTORY

On the World of Leaena, at least during the Silver Millennium, the Female Gender, being larger and more powerful, was dominant over the subservient male gender. Warrior Women often had their Household with their harems of male brides and concubines. Males were considered weak and domestic. And so, whenever the Senshi, given the position of Warrior Prime was found to be male, the World of Leaena was considered to be in a State of Grave Danger.

Also needing to be known is that on Leaena, the people had telepathic symbiotic relationships with Cheetahs - when a child was born so too was a cub born. The Cub's Parents would the Bonded Cheetahs of the Parents of the Child's. The Cub and the Child were directly related in the Social Hierarchy - both were Female or both were male not one of both. If they were Female, and ran a Household, then they both had their own Household that was linked. If they were male, then they and their littermates (at least the brothers born at the same time that they were) would at some point be married into the same harem. The Bonded Cheetah of the Pharoahess - the Female Leader of the Leaenans - was known as the 'Cheetahess' - the Female Leader of the Cheetoans (the Leaenarian Cheetahs).

Furthermore, they were born at the same time, they died at the same time. If for some odd reason one survived the other, due to the mental and emotional damage that would be done by having a telepathic symbiote that somewhat shared one's mind, die, the survivor would be put out of their misery - this was considered the only merciful thing that could be done for them.

One fateful day during the Silver Millennium, the Warrior Woman, Khat Hant, along with Her Bond had their third litters, Khat by one of her small Harem, either Aut, Si, Abu, Mer or Pet was the father, but it didn't matter who the father was, they would all take part in raising the children, especially the boys. The children were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Daughters: Raziya, Nenet, Amenmeit, and Serq were expected to grow up into independent Warrior Women who would Champion Glory for their family name, and someday Head their own Households. The boys: Ment, Nes, Puma, Men and Ja, were, when they were old enough, fetch a decent Bride Price and be married into a decent Household Harem. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

When this specific litter was around 8 years old, it was announced, that the Court Mauvians had arrived, with Sailor Etamin (a lowly male but still an ally) and Sailor Pasithee, (the two of them being 11 years old at the time) for the Senshi cycle had come full circle, and it was time for Sailor Leaena to be found. This was complicated. The Mauvians did not care if Sailor Leaena was Female or even male (as seen by Sailor Etamin), and as it was their race that had given the power, and they were Allies, the Leaenans had to be understanding if the Mauvians wanted to seek out males to see if they had the powers.

On the other hand, in respect for the Culture, the Mauvians agreed to come to the Females first, and that it would be the Female Mauvian (a Blue Egyptian Mau), Bastet who did the Ceremony. The male Mauvian (a Black Egyptian Mau). Aker, and their young male kitten (a Silver Egyptian Mau) Darius Ammun, sat a few yards back with the young Sailor Pasithee and young Sailor Etamin, respectfully.

Each Family group was brought before Basket, 1 group at a time, 1 eligible member at a time: first the Women - the Heads of their Households, their Daughters: in order of age, and then just to be sure, the husbands, then the sons, in order of ages, once again.

Basket had been straining her abilities for hours, sensing through thousands of eligible citizens. On many worlds, she and Aker would either take turns sensing out Senshi's or double-team it - here that was not an option, as that would offend the Leaenans. Bastet was showing signs of weariness, and Aker stepped forward out of his customary 3 strides back position, to murmur in her ear that she seemed tired, and would she like to call it quits for the day and pick it up tomorrow. This was acceptable for him to do, as it was considered on Leaena a very masculine (in our terms feminine (or weak)) thing to do to worry about the health of your wife. Also, young Sailors Etamin and Pasithee were getting antsy. Just then Bastet and Aker both sensed that Sailor Leaena's starseed was nearby. For Leaenarian Propriety reasons, Aker remained quiet and padded back to his customary position.

Bastet announced clearly and loudly, "Sailor Leaena is near me." Great excitement rippled through the crowd like electricity. Immediately the next family, the Serq family, a very famous Great House strode up, certain that one of their Daughters was to be Sailor Leaena, the Protector of the of the Planet. However, almost immediately, Bastet shook her sleek feline head and waved them away. The same thing happened with 2 more Great Houses, a Moderate House and 3 Minor Houses. And then, the Hant House, a tiny House - known as a Micro House was being moved aside (because *if so many greater Houses couldn't hold the legendary hero - then how could a Micro House? *) when Basket spoke. "Hold on, I sense Sailor Leaena is even nearer. Yes, Sailor Leaena is within the House of Hant."

There were frowns all around, but the Hants nearly burst with pride as they were brought before Basket. First, Khat the Head of the House, but Bastet simply shook her heard. Okay, the crowd thought, *It's one of her Daughters. * Bastet made her way through each one of Khat's Daughters from her first Litter who were Warriors in the Military and were soon to take their Rites of Passage. However, no. None of them were Sailor Leaena.

The crowd was starting to get antsy and nervous. *It's one of her Daughters from her Second Litter. * The crowd told themselves, frowning. Khat's Second Litter of Daughters were mid-way through their childhood weapons training and running Houses Education. Again, Bastet frowned, shook her head and waved then through.

The crowd was shaking now. *Surely, it's of her Third Litter of Daughters. * Bastet frowned. Sailor Leaena had not chosen to return as Girl child this time - Bastet could not sense the starseed within any the Daughters of the Hant House - but still it was here among this family (if only there wasn't such a crowd). Which meant unfortunately that Sailor Leaena had returned either as one of Khat's husbands, or one of her male children. Which could be bad.

Very bad. Not that Bastet or Aker cared about gender of Senshi or gender of anyone really. Simply put, the last time Sailor Leaena returned as a male, (which was about 750 years ago) there was a full-blown riot - and Bastet was not looking forward to that.

Maybe, just maybe she was just exhausted, and she was just sensing this thing wrong. She waved through Khat's last Litter of Daughters. Everything got eerily quiet. She hated this... what she was doing was going to cause a riot, chaos, maybe even civil war, but what could she do? She sensed (if you could call it sensing- she just knew him so well) Aker's alarm and disquiet. Darius, her kitten didn't quite understand what was going on, but he too could sense the tension in the air, as could Sailor Etamin and Sailor Pasithee.

Bastet waved through Khat's line of husbands, which both soothed and alarmed the crowd even more. She went Khat's first litter of boys, who were ready for marriage (and sadly, probably would be publicly humiliated by this whole affair, and would not be able to get marriages). No, not there. Closer though.

The tension was getting very thick. Khat's second litter of boys were midway preparing for marriages (that they would not probably never get). But no, not there. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. She was so very close now. The third litter, just starting its marriage training. Yes, Leaena was here.

Strangely enough these boys would get their bride price, probably more than expected, but never be married. As one of them was definitely Sailor Leaena, the Pharaohess, by law and custom, was expected to pay an extravagant Bride Price for the full litter, if Leaena was male - so that a weak male Sailor Leaena would not have his Bonded Cheetah, but also his brothers and their Bond Cheetahs to back him up as his Senshi Squad. Unfortunately, the law also said they could never be married.

Sailor Leaena received the position of Warrior Prime on Leaena. A Female Sailor Leaena could marry a harem and would then control Her own destiny - pivotal to being Warrior Prime. A male Sailor Leaena would be married into a harem and therefore not control his own destiny - which would defeat the purpose of being Warrior Prime. Not that a male Warrior Prime would be taken seriously on this planet anyways.

Bastet returned to the task at hand, waving through Ment and his bond Kau immediately. The atmosphere of the park started to curdle. Nes and his bond Anp also were waved quickly. Was it just Bastet, or had the temperature really ramp up in the last 1/2 hour and indeed the last few minutes? She paused a few minutes and stared long seconds at Puma and his Bond Bau, then shook her head. Men and his Bond Apa, were also slow, but no.

That just left Ja and his Bond, Am eight-year-olds, the youngest son of the Micro House of Hant. They stepped forward shaking. A pin could have been heard dropping. *Please let Her be wrong. * The crowd thought. *Please let Her be exhausted from the day's work. * This would be perfectly acceptable. Any Woman who had worked so hard that she made a mistake from exhaustion was forgivable - hard work was a virtue among Women on Leaena. It was much better than the alternative, especially in this.

Unfortunately, that was not the case, here. As soon as young Ja stepped in front of Bastet, she knew, she sensed Sailor Leaena's starseed. She sighed... knowing chaos might break out at any moment. Closing her eyes, she spoke as well concentrated. "Welcome, Chibi Sailor Leaena." Blocking out the scene around her, she brought froth the Henshin Pen and laid it at his feet.

Not truly being wanted on the world of Leaena, even by their own House of Hant - becoming a male Sailor Leaena shamed the House of Hant badly - the young Senshi Squad, Ja (Sailor Leaena), Am (Cheetah Leaena), Ment, Kau, Nes, Anp, Puma, Bau, Men and Apa were welcomed in the unofficial extended family of Bastet, Aker, and their kitten Darius Ammun, which already included Sailor Etamin/Hapii Merii, and Sailor Pasithee/Do'zan.

Leaena/Ja, along with his Sailor Squad, struggled to gain the respect the Leaenarian public, or at least the Warrior Women, including his Sisters (his own Littermates even) whom no House no would marry their sons to now, and the Military shamed now, his own Mother, whom no House who trade with due to the shame of bearing a male Leaena, the Warrior Women he was supposed to command, who instead mocked him, and the Pharaohess Herself, whom he was supposed advise, yet she too mocked him, all because he was born a boy.

Leaena/Ja also had secret hobbies such as crocheting and other needlecraft, which if discovered, would only make his situation worse. Furthermore, he had a secret that he told no one, not even his family - only Am knew, because Am shared it too. It was the greatest desire of their hearts be fathers. Unfortunately, not only was it illegal, but they would never live long enough to do so.

When Leaena/Ja was 12, the World of Leaena, like others in its Court, received a distress call from the World of Etamin. Chibi Sailor Leaena and the Sailor Squad rushed to aid them along with Sailor Pasithee and her forces of Warrior-Priests and Warrior-Priestesses, Sailor Sekhmet and a few others who had joined their family over the years.

When they arrived, the Librarian-Warriors, Sailor Etamin's Forces debriefed them - Sailor Etamin had basically done something stupid and gotten himself cursed with Chaos, or evil... and now he was. ... well causing wanton destruction and trying to destroy the World of Etamin. They were attempting to hold him off... Pasithee asked "How is that going?" The reply was simply, "It's not." And the Librarian-Warrior was right - Sailor Etamin was wiping out his out Warrior-Priests, by the 100's, 1000's even.

That day was a draw. A terrible draw. For Sailor Etamin was stopped, but at such great cost - there were only a few known survivors of the Slaughter of Etamin. Sailor Sekhmet who was known to survive also witnessed two Guardian Cats, Basket, and Aker manage to get their Kitten, Darius Ammun, into a stasis pod that was launched and from what he could see it was the only stasis pod that survived launch. Unfortunately, they themselves were lost in the battle.

The entire population of Etamin was destroyed in the battle, as was Sailor Etamin, and Sailor Pasithee and her forces. As for Sailor Leaena and his Sailor Squad, they were also killed in the battle. At some point, Silver Millennium forces showed up. The World of Etamin became a Memorial Site. The bodies of Sailor Pasithee and her forces were returned home with honor, the survivors brought home as heroes, the same for other worlds. Sekhmet was sent home an honored war vet of the Silver Millennium.

However, something special was done for Sailor Leaena and his Sailor Squad himself, knowing the situation of Chibi Sailor Leaena being a young boy child, on a planet of Warrior Women. A High-Ranking Female Senshi of the Silver Millennium, who would actually learn about and care about the situation, was sent to accompany bodies back to the World of Leaena, learn how they lived and died, and then before the Pharaohess and the people, Sing (yes actually sing) Their Praises.

When the Leaenans heard the entire story of Ja's life and death, and the lives and deaths of the Sailor Squad from a different of view, their spirits and hearts were moved. They put up a monument, and sent a request to the world of Abramov, to have the boys buried in the Greater Abramov Cemetery of Great Honor. Their request was granted.

Sailor Pasithee, and many of her Warrior Priests, and Warrior Priestesses, as well, as many of the Librarian-Warriors of the World of Etamin were also given Burials on Abramov. Sailor Etamin's body though was destroyed completed and would never have gotten a proper burial. However, it was the last wish of Sailor Pasithee and indeed, Chibi Sailor Leaena that Sailor Etamin's Starseed be returned to the Galactic Cauldron and be given another chance, if possible and so it was.

Sailor Sekhmet and other surviving members of the court did their duties and made sure that the living Worlds of the Court left without a Senshi Protector, such as Leaena and Pasithee, were protected as long as they could possibly manage - according to the rules of the court.

Danielle Kimberly Erin Bones, (later nicknamed 'Dani) was born at 9:12 am, August 31, 2009, to Thomas Dean 'Dean' Bones, and Fiona Diane "Di" Boats Bones. She was their third child, 8 1/2 years younger than twins, Andrew 'Drew' Bones and Xandria Nicole 'Dria' Bones.

When Dani was young, her parents took her family - Aunt Dia, Drew and Dria and herself - on a trip to Egypt to discover their roots. While Dani was too young to remember much of the trip - the aftermath was quite... disturbing - at least enough to have life changing effects - eventually, because of the event that took place, Dani was sent off to live with Aunt Dia alone for several years.

Since Aunt Dia worked almost all hours to make ends meet and spent most of her time at home taking care of Dani - cooking, cleaning and the like - she had very little time to explain to Dani what had actually happened. Dani grew up with the impression that Dria had played a huge nasty job, Drew threw a horrible tantrum - and somewhere in the middle of it, Granpa died of a heart attack from it all (that last one actually might slightly be true).

Dani was about 8 or 9 when the time came to reunite the family came - but they were to live in Destiny City? Weird. When they got there, Aunt Dia asked to speak to Dani's parents alone first, and sent Dani to play in a nearby park, where she met a friend.

She also happened to meet Dria, her older sister, who oddly enough, not only claimed not to recognize her, but also claimed not to have any memory of ever having a sister. The first claim, Dani might believe - the second - no way. Dria had to be up to her tricks again, and Dani was about to let her have a piece of her mind - when Drew showed up. He treated Dria like some sort of easily frightened animal, led her away and had a whispered conversation with her, and then sent her back to the house.

Then he returned to Dani and explained. The day of the plane incident, the plane's emergency landing. Everyone was found, safe and sound - everyone that was, but Dria. No trick. Dria was missing for 3 or 4 years. And it nearly destroyed Drew- when suddenly he discovered hope, an inspiration to start looking again, when they moved here. And then suddenly, there she was, in a foster home - but with no memory of the plane incident or anything before that - her entire life before that. She was still getting settled in. Dani wasn't sure whether to believe him or not, but it was later confirmed by Aunt Dia, and both Mom and Dad.

In time Dria got her memory back, and they formed a tight knit group of siblings. Except for one thing. Dria and Drew kept disappearing. Kept going off on long treks around the city, coming home dirty. Dani couldn't understand it.

Then one night, the three of them along with Dani's friend, were out on the town. Dani was 9 years old at the time. Drew and Dria got strange looks on their faces. Dani gazed in the direction that they had been looking over in. There was a cat sitting on a wall, it bore a light-color star on its forehead (strange) and wore what seemed to be Native American clothing.

Drew and Dria then did something weird - they silently paid homage to the cat.

Suddenly, there was danger, people screaming of course and little explosions. Dria and Drew looked to each other, then to Dani and her friend, then at the cat. They then spoke to the cat as a person and asked the cat to watch over Dani and her friend, telling Dani and her friend to stay put and listen to the cat (**listen?!?!* to the cat??!??*).

Come to find out Drew and Dria were Senshi fighters in a galactic battle on Earth, and their names were Sailor Etamin, and Sailor Pasithee! And they ended up having TROUBLE in their battle - and the Cat - who also was an Order fighter (who would've believed? *) Awakened the Senshi (or rather *Chibi Senshi) fighters and powers in Dani and her friend.

Dani became Chibi Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs. She was a warrior - a Warrior-to-be that is. Though she helped on many occasions, her brother and sister, made sure she stayed far from harm's way, only tending to the injured - or at least they tried to. She often snuck out and attempted to patrol on her own (often with negative consequences).

Dani made many Powered friends, and one day made it to Chibi Super Sailor. She has only found her way to her world once and that was only to to make peace with her past life. She will soon feel the call once more.

She has recently added Drew/Etamin's Bonded Guardian Cat, Darius Ammun into the family (who strangely enough keeps insisting on calling her older brother 'Daddy'), as well as her 15-month-old twin brothers, Darrell and Darren Bones - known affectionately as Dell and Den.

She is now 12 years old, and about a year and a half from becoming a full Senshi.

Dani has just celebrated her X-Xito (albeit a little late), a Leaenarian Young Woman's Rite of Passage (12th birthday) in the Path of Womanhood. It was the day they began the grueling that led them to became Warrior Women. On that joyous occasion, Immediate Female Relatives would strive together to obtain a specially crafted piece of Armor (such as a Breastplate) for the Young Woman. Obviously, that wouldn't have been possible for the present-day Leaena, so the former Pharoahess (in her own lifetime) and the Planet (Leaena itself) stepped in granting Sailor Leaena an Enhancement of Ethereal Armor: Leaenarian Breastplate.

Drew/Etamin - her older brother and mentor, has chosen this time to come home and let loose some ugly news about all their ugly past lives - will it destroy their relationship for good?
