"Uh, Etamin why do I have be here?" Leaena complained.
Etamin flinched. "Well for one thing, you are closer to her than I and for another... well you'll understand when you're older."
"Older - I'm thirteen - oh...never mind..." she trailed off and picked up her Senshi Phone and dialed Shedir's number.
"Hey Shedir. I need you to come to the park. Etamin needs to talk to you, and it is serious."

Sabrina had just been relaxing at her computer, trying to work on her newest horror novel. She had been having so much fun typing away that she almost didn't hear her Senshi phone buzz. It took her a few moments to hear it but when she did she quickly answered.
"Oh hey, Leaena!," she said happily as she recognized the voice on the other end. Then she realized her friend had become serious so she nodded and replied, "On my way! I'll be there shortly."
She hadn't really seen much of Etamin and was a little confused about what he needed but if Leaena was calling she knew it must be important.
She raced out her door, ran downstairs, and told her parents she be back soon. They just smiled and waved saying to make sure she kept her phone on. She nodded, smiled, and raced out of the hotel's main entrance.
As soon as she got outside she ran to the alleyway next to her parent's hotel and quickly transformed. Then she was on her way to meet her friend and her brother for whatever it was they needed to speak to her about.

Leaena waved to her friend, but it was not a good wave. She was leaning against a pillar. She seemed to either be in a bad mood or had something on her mind - or perhaps she already knew what was going on, and it bothered her. She nodded to Shedir but didn't say a word, just gestured to the seat next to Etamin on the bench. Etamin had an unreadable look on his face - could be guilt... could be sadness... could be a million other things. "Chibi Super Shedir of Mummies, I, Eternal Sailor Etamin of Hieroglyphics greet thee." He rose to greet and took her hands. "I am sorry to have bring here for what I have to bring you for." He released her hands. "Please sit." He did so. "I'm here to tell you a horror story - one you lived through... all so long ago..." Leaena's eyes widened a little, but she didn't say anything.

Shedir was a little concerned when she saw her friend's way, and she felt like the environment here was weird today. Not that Halloween hadn't just happened but you know it was a different kind of weird. This was weird she knew she didn't like it at all.
She quietly took her seat and saw that it wasn't just Leana but her brother too. What in the world is going on, she thought to herself, and what had she just gotten into?
That was when she heard him speak and nodded, "It's nice to meet you!" As he took her hands it threw her off a little bit since she wasn't expecting that at all, but she went with it listening to his apology.
"Um I'm not sure what you're apologizing for, you haven't done anything to me," she said kindly with a smile, "Though I'll gladly hear the story. Maybe it's all just a misunderstanding."
She didn't know what story he would tell, but she knew one thing and that was whatever horror she survived one way or another. So it couldn't be that bad right?

Etamin smiled sadly. "Shedir, you know right that we Senshi all lived a life before this, correct?" He waited for her answer. "We were Guardians of our Worlds. I was Guardian of the World of Etamin, you were Guardian of the World of Shedir. Leaena was Guardian of the World of Leaena -" Leaena spoke up and interrupted for a moment, "Oh and Shedir... this might be a bit of a shocker, but I was a boy by the name of Ja." They let that sink in. Etamin nodded. "Yes, different lives, different people - but we were a family - the Court of Ra - " Here Etamin frowned sadly once more. "Until I did something incredibly foolish - and everyone paid a great price for my foolishness."

Shedir nodded her head, "Yes I do." She waited patiently to see where he'd go from here. Then she heard their world's mentioned and she was starting to get curious.
The second she heard Leaena speak, "Wow now that is hard to believe." she sat there trying to picture a boy in leopard attire and couldn't help but giggle. "I'm sure you looked very cool!" she said with a smile hoping to lighten the mood a little bit.
She then heard family and nodded, she had seen some weird dreams about a family in the past. She hadn't told Leaena since she thought it was a dream. Honestly, it made her happy to know she had another family one like the one she had imagined in her dreams.
Then her happiness quickly stopped as she heard Etamin. She couldn't help but chime in since no way he was going to be sad on her watch. After all, she already had to cheer up Leaena. "Everyone makes mistakes you know? I know it might seem dire, but maybe it had to happen."
She hated to sound too positive, but her being the Senshi of mummies. She knew all the dead had stories that had to happen whether they knew it or not at the time.

Etamin closed his eyes. Apparently, no one was going to take this seriously today. He decided to break it down for her. "Shedir, I had a job to do, an exciting, but a dangerous job. There were rules - safety codes. One day I got too excited about an item coming in. I was foolish and did not follow the safety codes that I knew front and back and I knew why I needed- because the very thing happened that I had been warned about, happened. The thing was possessed by Chaos. And the Chaos took over my mind. I destroyed my Planet. I destroyed our adopted parents. I destroyed Pasithee and her Priests and Priestesses, and Leaena and his Senshi Squad. I had to be destroyed. And you would have given your life to help, you survived, along with Sekhmet, Osiris, and your Morticians. And... you and they were given the task of preparing the family for burial... and then you and the other survivors had to protect all that was left of the Court, until the Silver Millenium shut down, and everyone was trapped on their own planet..." Etamin's eyes were wet now, "Don't you see, that is what I'm apologizing for...?"

Shedir nodded she did understand, but she was a little weird. She saw the world through different eyes. Probably had a lot to do with the fact of mummies and dead people. Plus she knew that each life had a set course, even if the person in that life didn't know it. Yes, they were writing the book of their life based on their choices, but they always end up where they need to in the end. She did think a little positive about the end part and always hoped that the end was always happy for everyone. Even in the darkest times.
"I think you are missing an important fact though, you didn't do it by choice. The Chaos did it, they messed with your mind," she smiled kindly and ran and gave him a hug. "I think you are being too hard on yourself, but I am happy my people and I were able to help in whatever way we could at the time. I hope we did a good job in the past."
She let go and returned to her seat before continuing, "It sounds like my people were doing their job, and it makes me so excited to meet them even more now. Thank you for sharing this with me though I'm sure it was really hard on you. I am sad Leaena had to die but I'm happy she is here now with us in this life." The end part was the truth she was just thankful that all their stories ended up together again, and that she could be Leaena's friend in this life.

Etamin blinked in surprise. "Um okayyyy... thank you." Leaena smiled. "That's Shedir for you." She hugged her friend. "But I think, the main point that Etamin is trying to make Shedir, is that he is sorry you had to go through that nightmare."

"Of course," shedir said with a smile and hugged Leaena back. Her friend knew her and she was happy about that.
Then she replied, "I know, but he went through a nightmare too. So if he's apologizing then I should too. I'm sorry my people and I couldn't save you Etamin. If anything like that happens again we will, you have my word!" She nodded at the end of her words and held out her hand towards him as if to shake on it. After all, what was a promise without some sort of handshake?
She was determined to make him feel better, and hopefully, he knew now that some of that burden could be lifted. Since she didn't want him feeling bad about past mistakes, and plus she was sure she had a few of her own as well that she would soon learn of.

A small light flickered in Etamin's eyes as he took Shedir's small hand and shook it. "Thank you, Young One."
