The Gargoyles (7) : By all accounts, you should have seen the last of them. The Star Festival had its fair share of oddities, but it seems like some of them did escape into Destiny City. Maybe you see them perched on the roof, or hiding in the shadows, but not all of these grotesque creatures are satisfied with just escaping their interdimensional prison–some of them still have a bone to pick. They seem stony; some of them will watch with a penetrative gaze and never strike to attack, but some of them will dive down to target anyone who gets too close. The monsters come in an array of sizes and shapes, but they are no more than half the size of their target. Their goal is uncertain, but they will crumble into a pile of rocks and dust if struck hard enough. Powered characters can use one roleplay with an attacking stone beast to count as a battle requirement if they are roleplaying with another powered character.
Shedir had been out on patrol for what felt like forever. The night was as dark as it could be since the moon was nowhere to be found. All she could see were a few stars here and there, but nothing that could light up that night sky. It literally was the perfect Halloween night, which meant the perfect night for running into trouble. After all darkness and chaos pretty much go together like peanut butter and jelly.
As she began to move closer to the park she felt like something had its eyes on her. She looked around in all directions but all she saw were some stone statues that looked like they had been installed for Halloween. They had a grotesquely carved figure of what looked to be an animal with some wings on its back. Something about the eyes of the statues though made her want to watch her back, and she couldn't figure out why. Part of her wanted to get closer, but she knew this was the one time she should call for backup first.
Slowly she grabbed her phone out of her pocket and texted Leaena, "Hey come meet me by the park. I think something or someone is watching me and I can't find them."

Fortunately, Dani had just finished her homework and chores when the call came. "Aunt Dia!" She called to her Aunt who was doing College homework, "I am so sorry, my friend's kitten got loose, and her parents are working. She's having a hard time catching the kitten and asked for my help. Would it be alright if I go help? And would you mind watching the twins while I'm gone." "Alright, just be home, before your Mom and Dad are." Aunt Dia smiled. She had been a mother to Dani for several years, until the family got back together a few years ago. Dani hated lying to her, but she couldn't tell her about the War and the world that Dani as Leaena belonged to.
Dani turned and ran out of the room. In the nearest alley, she transformed, and called Shedir, "I'm on my way!" Eyes seemed to watch her as well.
Her phone began to ring and hearing her friend was on the way to her location made her feel at ease. Since there were always powers in numbers at least that's what she believed. "Awesome, thank you! See you soon!" she replied with a smile. She hung up the phone quickly to not slow her friend down. After all hard to get to where you needed to go while on the phone.
Though if her friend was on her way she guessed she could inspect the area a little bit more. That way they knew what they were working with and could make some kind of plan.
Before she could even begin to look around though, something had her coming back to those ugly statues. They just seemed so out of place even if they were Halloween decorations. Almost like they weren't meant to be here.
So slowly putting one foot in front of the other she moved closer to the ugly-looking stone statues. Hoping that maybe they could give her some clues as to who had their eyes on her.
Though the second she got within a couple of feet she watched as the eyes moved towards her. At first, she thought she might be going crazy so she rubbed her eyes and shook her head. Then as she looked back the second time she realized she wasn't crazy those eyes were staring right at her. So she froze in her space not sure what to do next and wondering if she should even move at all.

Leaena cried out with alarm when she saw the Gargoyles and Shedir staring at each other. "Shedir, get away from them! Etamin has found that many of the Gargoyles in town have been replaced with nasty, vicious creatures who will attack you as soon as they can -" One of the Gargoyles turned with a snarl and lunged at her mid-sentence as if to prove what she had said. She immediately unleashed her attack:
Chibi Super Sailor Scout Attack:Cheetah Friends She does the same as 'Cheetah Cub' except she calls out "Cheetah Friends". Energy Cheetah Cubs fly out to attack. Range: 6-7 ft. Minor Damage from scratches. Lasts maximum of 15 seconds if doesn't target. 2 uses.
The Gargoyle shattered. The other was now growling and hissing at Shedir, but keeping its distance.
Shedir heard her friend and jumped back as quickly as possible. Getting away just in time for her friend to attack the very live Gargoyle. She listened to all the information and it made sense. At least she knew she wasn't crazy about something watching her.
As soon as she jumped back she found herself in the sight of another gargoyle right behind her. She could hear their disgusting growling and horrible hissing. She decided she wasn't about to wait for them to attack her and instead attacked first.
"You are not about to get me or my friend," she said as she turned around and unleashed her attack without hesitation. "I'll wrap you up and destroy you!"
With those words, her mummy wraps started to glow she threw her arms out in front of her as she faced the hideous beast. The wraps did not miss their mark this time as they hit the gargoyle with insane force. As they wrapped around them she watched as the beast shattered before her eyes. Thankful that they had gotten rid of some of the eyes watching her.
Mummy Wraps:
She throws her arms out in front of her, and her mummy bandages begin to start glowing and then magical bandages extend from them. Then the magical bandages shoots out straight towards her enemies and bind her them in a mummified bond. This attack will last no more than 20 seconds. She can do this three times per battle. Distance travel possible is 8 ft.
Now this attack can be stopped:
the bandages will lose strength if they are attacked. Depending on how many attacks/how strong the attack is. If no one attacks them then the bandages could last longer, but if they are attacked the bandages could lose strength or just begin falling off.
"Do you see anymore," she said to her friend as she looked around the area making sure there weren't anymore.

Leaena inhaled quickly and then said, "No I think we got them all. Whew. Sailor Sekhmet's information come just in time!"
She smiled at her, one good smile to show that she was happy her friend was alright, and then that same old depression had settled in once more.
"Phew," Shedir spoke so relievedly that they were all gone. Thankful they were crushed to bits once and hopefully for all. She couldn't believe she had just watched stone come to life. She still felt like she was in a fantasy land where Halloween creatures came to life.
Luckily her attack didn't take too much toll on her as her mummy wraps were returning to normal pretty quickly after that attack too.
"Thank you so much for coming, and that information was so helpful," she said with a smile as she noticed something in her friend change. "You didn't get hurt did you?"

Leaena nodded. "No problem. And no, I am alright. I just ... I gotta go..." She turned to go but smiled at Shedir. "Shedir, you are a good friend always and you make me smile. Thank you." Then she left.
Before she could even say a word her friend was gone, like dust in the wind. The words she spoke were sweet and she appreciated them but she knew the fact was her friend was not alright. She definitely at this point was far from it, she could just tell something was really off.
After a battle like this, she would always have a great speech or something. Running off just wasn't like her best friend. She was a strong fighter and a wonderful friend. She always stayed to talk and chat.
With a worried look, she decided it was time to head home, and try to figure out ways she could help make her best friend smile. Since that was her one and only mission now. She was determined to figure out what was wrong and if her friend wouldn't tell her she was going to try and investigate. After all she couldn't stand not seeing her friend smile, it was wrong after everything they'd been through.
