BRRIIINNNG! Dani immediately shut off the alarm, before it could awaken anyone else in the house- especially her baby brothers in the next room - if they woke up - the whole house would be awake, and the adults would be wondering why Dani had set her alarm for 3:30 AM. If they only knew.
She rubbed her eyes, trying to remember why Dria was not there to help her, nor Drew - then she remembered, Drew was out on patrol - actual police patrol this time, and Dria was away visiting a friend - they were having some kind of study/slumber party.

Today was her first test - of her diligence to keep on track with her training- even no one to help her. Today, she would train alone. As stealthily as she could she changed into her exercise wear, made her bed, and got her protein shake out of the garage refrigerator. After drinking it, she made her way to the backyard.

Still early morning - it was still a bit cool outside, and obviously pitch black, so as Drew and Drew had taught her, she went ahead and lit some lanterns for light - very carefully. Then as she had seen Drew and Dria do quite often, she pulled out the exercise equipment, and mats, from their hiding spots.

Beginning with stretching, she went through her daily routine. Dria had said recently that it might soon become her morning routine. Dani was eager to take on another dose of it, as this was getting too easy. She kept going through and got through the calisthenics, and then into the weights. These were the most tiring, however she could see the difference them made.

Next up was sprinting- oh how she loved the sprinting! But the backyard simply wasn't large enough for her to really sprint. Oh, how much she really wanted to dash through the Savannah Grass, the hot wind blowing through her hair, with her Bonded Cheetah racing along beside her --- wait ... what? She shook her head at the bizarre thoughts and visions.

Finally, she began the actual fighting training, she was learning Etamazu (Martial Art of the World of Etamin) from Drew, as well as Pasithitsu (Martial Art of the World of Pasithee) from Dria, and sometimes along the way, she was learning Leae Arn Do (Martial Art of her own World of Leaena) a long-forgotten Art, that she herself, was just now remembering, just as Drew was doing the same with Etamazu, and Dria was with Pasithitsu.

These Arts were very different from each other in many ways and also very difficult in different ways. Pasithisu was also known as the Way of the Water Goddess - it was fluid and feminine, seductive, yet subtle, stealthy and dealt special attacks. Etamazu, or Art of the Word, was neither masculine nor feminine, took intelligence in mind, and dealt with strength and power. Leae Arn Do, or Wild Warrior Woman, was about strength, speed and ferocity and was definitely feminine from a different point of view.

By 6:30 AM, she had everything hidden away properly, the lanterns put out - the sun was starting to rise anyways, was in the shower and everything looked and felt like she just gotten up from bed, just as her parents' alarm went off.
