Prompt 1 (Mysterious Carolers): Caroling has been a tradition for years, so it’s not really unusual when you hear a soft chorus from outside. What is unusual is that it’s three in the morning, and the moment they start singing you feel a chill in the air. Maybe it’s a holiday song, maybe it’s not, but whatever it is it’s a song you know before--from this life? From another?--and something about this version makes you go cold. If you move to the window, you will find no carolers, but the song is loud enough that you know you should be able to see them. They sing one song, and then there is silence. An eerie chill lingers, and your dreams are haunted by strange voices. You’ll probably never be able to hear that song again without feeling a chill.

Dani tossed and turned in her bed. It was late, and she hadn't been able to sleep in hours. When she did, strange dreams haunted her. She looked at the glowing numbers of the clock that read 3:00 AM. Really? She had school tomorrow. At this rate, she would be sleeping in class tomorrow. Ugh.
Atucho Kamo Aemo toko woko. What was that? Some one caroling? At 3 in the morning? It was a soft chorus. But not even a Christmas Carol. Yet she had heard those words before, where though? They gave her a chill. And she was naturally hot natured, something she believed was due to her previous lives being on a Savannah like World. Enough of that, where was this caroling coming from?
Paeto Ketan Oto. Wait was that? No, it can't be. She rushed to the window and looked out. No one out there. Just the snow falling on the empty front yard.
Laikai Weiwy woto koto. It was loud enough, she should be be able to see them. And how did they know that song - It was ... it seemed to be an Leaenian celebration song, but no one should know that but her.
Tou-Queue, Johtou. The end of the song - another chill. She waited for the next song. And waited. But it never came. There was only silence. Where did the voices go? She shivered with cold. She finally stepped back from the window, and got back in bed, and covered up, very chilly.
Sleep drifted toward her at last, but it was an eerie sleep. People that she was sure she knew, were singing that song, but she couldn't see their faces, or what they were wearing or anything at all of them. She couldn't remember their names. She also thought she was a guy for some odd reason, and the women were larger then the men.
Dani herself, or rather he himself, was supposed to be in a position of power, but no one took him seriously.. but at this time that didn't matter.. but why was everything so freakishly cold? It was supposed to be really hot. Why?
In the morning, Dani felt like she hadn't slept at all, drooping with exhaustion. She piled on the jackets and sweaters as she was still freakishly cold. She could no longer remember the dream. Her mother wondered if she had a fever, and sent her back to bed. That would've been fine with her, except that her sleep was still disturbed, as it would be for a few days and she would never remember the dreams, but the cold she would.
The words themselves would repeat themselves in her mind at inopportunes times, all the way up to Christmas. They always brought with them a dreadful chill, and also a wonder - where do these nonsense words come from? She no longer remembered their origin, and after Christmas, they longer appeared in her mind, nor did she remember any fragment of the experience, at all.
