Quote: Destiny City News reports several sightings of 'rabid dogs' appearing throughout the city. Those interviewed claim that the dogs would surround them and chase them down the streets, seemingly popping in and out of sight until the person finally found themselves in a well lit area. You have the misfortune of running into these same dogs. They cling to the shadows as you go about your way at night. Seemingly at the corner of your vision, one flickers by, and you turn and see nothing. Again and again it happens. They are trying to drive you into the darkest corners of the city, herding you away from the light. In the nearby distance are the lights of the city: streetlights, signs, traffic. You have to do something to get there, to escape these creatures. When you make it to any significant light source, you hear a low growl, a wailing hiss; the dogs have vanished. For now. Sailor Echo was waiting patiently in an alley not far off from the main road she neared. Close enough to people watch and keep herself entertained while she sipped her hot coffee. She smiled as the taste washed over her and the small cooling Autumn air seemed to roll over the city. Longing for the cool nights ahead. She rubbed her arms as the air suddenly whipped at her, sending chills down her spine as it seemed to carry a howl from somewhere deep within the darkness that stood behind her. Echo turned to scan it before her thoughts wondered where her young friend Leaena was. As the two wanted to met up and get some training in. Retrieving her phone from it's space pocket to see if Sailor Leaena happened to pick up near by. Sailor Hawk Hope that's good. ;w; heart

Suddenly there was a loud commotion. See Leaena was on her way by and to her horror, she saw a pack of rabid dogs running right at her friend Sailor Echo, who did not see or hear them evidently. Hurriedly, she ran up and used her attack: Chibi Sailor Scout Attack: Cheetah Cub She slaps the ground and rises into the Cheetah stance. At the same time, she calls out "Cheetah Cub". An energy 'Cub' flies out and attacks. Range: 5-6 ft. Minimum Damage from scratches. Lasts a maximum of 10 seconds if doesn't reach target. 3 Uses. The energy 'Cub' rushed right past Sailor Echo and attacked the dogs. There was a bit of a vicious scuffle and then the Cub vanished. Leaena yelled to Echo, "Look out! Run!"

Echo was surprised to not only see a dot coming right for her but to look up from her map to see Sailor Leaena and what seemed to be dogs. Angry ones at that! And foaming at the mouth? A sudden fear swelled over her at the thought of either of them getting hurt if these were in fact real dogs and not some kind of Youma. She didn't want to hurt them but knew they had to keep people safe. She was surprised when they seemed to easily take a stand against Leaena's attack and Echo choose to quickly use her own to steer the dogs away from the crowded streets that were now behind her. Waving her hand as she let the sound slip between her teeth, "Tsk!", sending papers flying towards the dogs' faces and then running to join Leaena. "Are you ok?" Echo huffed.

Leaena nodded, breathing hard herself. She was glad that Echo was ok. "We need to drive them away from the crowd." She blinked though as one seemed to flicker in and out of existance, as a street light flashed over it. "What the.. never mind. Come on." She quickly dismissed it as a trick of the light. She used her attack one more time. She was getting pretty tired, but this time, the dogs were driven back pretty far, though they were still barking and snarling with their foaming mouths!

Echo watched for the dog's reactions as Leaena sent another round of attacks, knowing they only had so many before they would be out. Noticing the dogs seemed to be stayed towards the darkness, Echo wondered if maybe there was something they could do?? "What if we tired to move the people back?" Echo offered, thinking maybe the noise was keeping them back. "If we can get the dogs to follow us into the light, we'll have a better chance!" Sailor Hawk Sorry about missing up the event for you. ;; We can just drop this if you don't want to finish it, figured it could at least get us a battle down though.

Leaena narrowed her eyes and nodded. "Yeah. There's something weird about them, they seem to not like the light."

Echo gave a nod in return and waved her hand to Leaena as she turned to head towards the crowd, getting a eerie feeling. Stumbling out into the busy street of people, some stopping to give her a curious look. "G-Go! There's some wild do- m-monster coming to attack us!" She said loudly, trying her best to urge people away, though most just seemed to think she was crazy.

Leaena frowned. Sailor Echo's attempt had failed. There was only one way. "Echo move!" Giving her friend time to move out of the way, Leaena summoned her attack again, using an empty table and chairs as her target. The Energy Cub attacked the table and chairs and vanished. People screamed and ran. Leaena breathed hard, it was her second out of three possible attacks, and she hated using fear as a motivator, but she needed to save those people.

Echo was quick to move but stumbled over the people near her. By the time she had turned back to stay on guard, Leaena's attack was finishing and siding people running. Echo was very grateful, as she didn't think her paper attack would get nearly the same kind of reaction from people. She hurried to push herself up from the ground to join Leaena again. Just about to send around attack herself when a wind gust came barreling out of the alleyway, carrying a low growl and wailing hiss. Surprisingly the dogs have vanished.

Leaena slumped in a chair. "By the Cauldron. What was that about? Another piece of Halloween corrupted magic? I shall have to speak with Etamin about this." Breathing heavily, she turned to her friend, "Are you alright?"

Echo slumped back to the ground in relief, giving a big sigh. Thankful they were in fact fake, over the chance of them being real troubled animals. "I'm good." Echo let out in a puff, "You?" She asked, knowing Leaena used more energy than herself. "Maybe it's time to call it a night and get some snacks." She laughed, so done with this Halloween trickier-y Destiny City had been dealing with.

Leaena nodded, She fell into a chair breathing heavily. Finally... she stood up and turned to go. "Thank you. See you tomorrow, Echo. Good night." She smiled wanly and waved goodbye.
