Dria frowned. "Interesting. So, I was chosen instead of my older sister... but that still doesn't explain the so-called bad deed you did to us."
Drew sighed, frowning as well, "I'm getting to that. Please have patience."
Dani yawned, quite bored, and got everyone more hot cocoa. Dari paced on the floor, more anxious by the moment, and mumbling something to himself.
Dani nearly tripped over him, while delivering the cocoa. "Dari! Are you alright? Why are you pacing in the middle of the floor?" She exhaled slowly. "Dari, you seem upset about something?"
Drew closed his eyes. "He knows somehow, how this story will end... "
Dria narrowed her eyes in sarcasm. "Well then, Mr. Chaos, Let's begin again - the next chapter of the story."
There was a cloud of pain in Drew's eyes. She didn't realize how right she was. Without mention of the pain she had caused, he began the next stage of the story.
"The eleventh day came, and I was restoring what seemed to be a special training room within the Great Library of Etamin when the memories flowed in -
Hapii and Do'zan had now reached eleven years of age. There were others with them now, "The others were blurred out." Hapii trained his martial fighting skills with the Etaminian Librarian-Priests, while Do'zan trained hers with the Pasitheen Warrior-Priests and Warrior-Priestesses, and so forth. They trained their brains and their Senshi skills with Aker and Basket.
And often, like now, they would train with each other, putting it all together. They would usually do this in one of the special training rooms built for their use, in their bases (such as the Great Library of Etamin, the Templeship of the Senshi on Pasithee, etc.). Currently they were doing so in the Great Library of Etamin, under the Guidance of Aker, in his Humanoid form. Darius Ammun, still locked in Cat Form and who had not aged with them, sat watching on a table next to his father.
Basket, who had been tied up (not literally) in the Communications Room all week, finally padded in, in Cat Form. She made her way over to Aker and transformed to Humanoid Form. He took about a quarter of his attention off the trainees to lend her an ear.
To which, she only murmured, "Leaena is showing the signs."
At this, he gave her his full attention and asked tightly, "Are you sure?" She nodded.
He turned back to the trainees and gave his halting 'Merow!' They all came to a stop to hear his instructions. "Alright! Good training. Gather round. I know it is early in the training session, but we have some announcements. Dear?"
They then learned that they would be attending the Awakening Ceremony of Sailor Leaena on the World of Leaena and they spend the entire ride by spaceship, learning the new protocols - as Leaena was a very Woman-Dominated World, and could be very easily offended by any male stepping out of line.
It was an agonizing 6-7 hours that the young scouts, Aker and Darius had to sit quietly and as still as possible while Basket strained (also agonizing for her to do alone) her abilities to sense and find the new Sailor Leaena, all in the name of not offending the Leaenans. Aker, very politely was suggesting that Basket take a break, when the new Sailor Leaena was finally found.
Talk about not offending the Leaenans - what was worse than revealing to a vastly Woman-Dominated World that their new Senshi was a eight-year-old little boy named Ja?
"Hold on, Dani was a boy in her last life?" Dria and Dari interrupted together. "That can't be right. I'm sorry Dani, this has obviously been some kind of sick joke. I'm stopping it right-"
"No." It was Dani's turn to interupt. "Here... no? No what? What do you mean, Dani?" Dria asked, mystified.
"No, it's not a sick joke, Dria. He's right. I've been to my homeworld, there was a monument to Ja ... and I think I know how this will end..." Dani's face looked pained. "Go on, Drew."
Drew was also looking more and more pained as this went on, "Well, I'll just say it. There was a major riot. Ja and his brothers and their Bonds - long story there, ask Dani when she remembers more, she can tell you better, became the Senshi Squad - as male senshi on Leaena are supposed to fight alongside their brothers in their um I forget the exact word, but birth group. Somehow in that World, becoming a male senshi shamed your entire family, so we were happy to take him and his squad into ours. And that was the end of that set of memories."
Dria looked at him quizzically, "What other days do you have complete set of memories of Drew?" Drew frowned, "The fourteenth and the fifteenth, and they are the worse."
Dani narrowed her eyes at her older brother, "And what of the other days?"
Drew looked her straight in the eyes and told her the truth at that moment, "I'm still sorting them out."
He was going through it even now and sorting things out, matching faces to names, and who was who, and who he knew was reawakened today that he knew about - who he needed to apologize to. Geez this was like a AA (Alcoholics Anomyous) or NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meeting. Call it a CHA - Chaos Anonymous meeting. Hmm, double that and you'd have a really old dance- he smiled a little only to catch Dani looking at him - not angrily as he expected, but thoughtfully.
Dani knew Drew hadn't done the deed, but that Hapii had done it whatever it was. She also knows that Hapii had made a mistake and had not intended for the event to happen. She knew that the spirit of Sailor Etamin, that now lived inside Drew her elder brother, would have to live with what he had done through every lifetime, from here to eternity.
She wondered how he was taking that. For one he was admitting to them that he had done. for another, he was restoring his homeworld and fighting Chaos. He seemed to be repenting.
