The cat entices you to follow it both by its silence and strange energy signature, and you don’t quite seem to be going anywhere in particular, but you feel compelled to see where this journey will end. As the small creature gets to a shadow filled area, it turns and gives a final audible meow before seeming to melt into the shadows. All searching yields no results the cat is simply not there…perhaps this wasn’t such a normal occurrence after all!
Left in the dark park on her own, the senshi glanced about herself and narrowed her eyes. Up until this point the feline hadn't managed to get her into any trouble but eventually even her luck would run dry and it seemed that tonight was that night.
...No sooner had the 'mauvian' hallucination left that she heard the all too familiar growl of youma nearby and they could sense her.
"Of course," she drawled quietly under her breath and glanced round to where the sounds had come from.
At least she could handle these things, they could be punched, those dog shadows couldn't be (or at least she hadn't worked out how to hurt them yet)...

Leaena found the senshi looking confused. "Hey, there are you okay, are you lost? I'm Chibi Sailor Leaena, Senshi of Cheetahs. Can I help you?" She had been patrolling again alone. She needed to get home, she hadn't been home in a few days and needed her sleep. But this Senshi was of Order and seemed to really need help. That would come first.

Adorea glanced briefly at the younger senshi who had seemingly come out of nowhere. She was rather quick to introduce herself but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Was this one of those younger senshi that Arthur had mentioned when he'd found her? She did seem to look a fair bit younger than Adorea was so maybe she was...
Regardless she seemed to conduct herself reasonably well and didn't seem to be in any particular trouble herself.
"No, No I know where I am," she waved her hand as she turned her attention back towards the source of the growls. "Just a little busy right now," she admitted and tilted her head, as of yet the youma still hadn't come out, but she knew it was there.
"Oh, I'm Adorea," she added. It was only fair she gave her name to Leaena since she'd already offered her's!

Now Leaena was confused. What was going on? She followed Adorea's gaze and looked into the shadows. There seemed be something there. Was it a cat? A cat with a skull emblem on it's forehead? How strange. "Is that? Does that cat have a skull on its forehead? Is it a Guardian Cat? Or is something else?" Leaena wondered outloud.

"Definitely not a guardian cat!" Adorea warned as the weird creature slipped out of the shadows. It wasn't like the strange shadow dogs, or the cat she'd seen before. What was there was something that had copied it, a youma who had borrowed the cat's face and then mimicked the skull. A weird joke for halloween perhaps, or had it been inspired by something?
"Too big, way too big," she added, stepping back carefully to reach out for the nearest heavy object. As a healer she didn't have the ability to attack with her spells so she had to rely on her own strength, that tended to mean she picked up anything nearby to throw or beat youma with!

As the thing slipped out of the shadows, Leaena realized the Senshi, whose name she recognized from something her older siblings had said, was right, the thing did not have a Guardian Cat signature. Adorea seemed to be trying to attack it. She must think it's a youma. Leaena thought. It must be. Leaena realized what it must be. It was probably very dangerous, as all her experiences with such magic had been, but who knows this could be different. "Hold on." She commented. "I've experienced this kind of magic before, but it can be very dangerous, to to strike unprepared."

Adorea would trust the younger senshi on this one, her own magic couldn't do anything to these things and if they wanted to be successful then maybe Leaena had something that could hurt it the same way Nix had. He threw out weird tongues, maybe the younger senshi did something like that? Adorea would have to wait and see in that respect.
However for now, she had little choice than to at least buy Leaena some time to get herself ready. It was with this in mind that she finally grabbed one of the larger stones nearby and threw it towards the creature. It hit and the shadowy youma stumbled, but it wouldn't take it long to recover.
"Are you saying we need to run or do I just need to give you some time to get ready?" she asked.

Leaena kept her eyes on the youma thing. "I'm saying keep your guard up. This time of year... strange things are bound to happen." She crouched and used her attack: Chibi Sailor Scout Attack: Cheetah Cub She slaps the ground and rises into the Cheetah stance. At the same time, she calls out "Cheetah Cub". An energy 'Cub' flies out and attacks. Range: 5-6 ft. Minimum Damage from scratches. Lasts a maximum of 10 seconds if doesn't reach target. 3 Uses. It was a perfect strike. Unfortunately the youma blew up. The explosion flames were a sapphire blue. "Like that." Leaena said. "Run!" She yelled as the explosion threatened to overtake them.

So the Youma was explosive, who would have thought?
Adorea was temporarily impressed by the damage the ghostly cub had done to the otherwise large youma and had it not been for Leaena she probably would have been hit fairly hard by the on-coming aftermath. It was pretty, but given it had a blast radius it was in her best interests to get out of it!
She blinked rapidly at Leaena's words and within moments she was doing as she told, swiftly backing away from the oncoming explosion to that she could get to safety. Still, she couldn't help but have a little envy for yet another senshi with useful powers...it was safe to say that Adorea would have liked to have more offensive abilities if she'd been given the choice!
Ah well, at least they were both safe. She probably could have done this herself, it just would have taken much longer.
"Well, I guess you really are pretty seasoned at this," she acknowledged and shook her head. The senshi might be younger, but she'd definitely been doing this for longer that Adorea had, that was for sure.

Epine de Rose Sorry this took so long. Your turn, then fin? Leaena nodded. "I've been doing this for about 2 years give or take. Plus, my older brother, Super Sailor Etamin, is now studying the Holiday Magical Convergences, as he calls them. You might know him. Anyways, you should know that there are two Major Convergences each year, (the times when all kinds of really weird magical dangerous thing happen, and those would be Halloween and Christmas. Also sometimes, Minor Convergences happen on other holidays like Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day and sometimes just on really weird normal seeming days, like there was on the Star Gazing Festival (I think it was) while we were out of town. You can believe Etamin was upset for missing study time for that. Anyways, I've got to go. I have to be home soon. Be careful this month, See you later." She waited for the goodbye and turned and walked away.

Convergences?
Her expression was thoughtful, though it did light up as she recognised Etamin's name. Aha, it appeared that family was filled with power and she could do nothing more than nod in response. She knew who he was and it was useful to know that at least someone was looking in to this in more detail.
"Interesting," she said finally and cleared her throat. "I'll keep an eye out for anything interesting," she offered with a small smile and gave a wave. "I'm already looking for more stuff for your brother so I can add this to the list," she admitted.
"You be careful as well, I know you're capable but...stay safe," she added and with that, she turned on her heel to move back towards her own home. It was for the best that she at least took a moment to process everything that had happened. She'd be back after she'd taken few hours to recover.Sailor Hawk All finished, thank you! <3
