Howl is a cosplay. That means he's going to have certain plots with certain characters.

As Howl is welsh, he will often be speaking in his native tongue. A few phrases you should recognize are 'o annwfn' 'cyfrgolli' and 'cariad'.
Don't take anything Howl does personally, he's a slither outer and likes to avoid anything that might make him angry.

Personality:
Howl is extremely vain about his appearance, always wearing the finest clothes, and has an air of nobility about him. If he doesn't get his way, Zee had best be advised to be ready to clean. Especially at the toddler stage, this wizard's going to be spouting green slime. He dislikes answering direct questions, preferring to avoid them by pretending to be busy doing something else. He seems to be always able to escape when trouble comes his way, making it seem like he doesn't care as long as he's alright.
Despite all his faults, Howl isn't a bad kid. He can be generous, and is often very kind. He is patient and polite, and will often listen to people's troubles, unless he's courting a girl. Then you'll have trouble getting him to pay attention to anything. He is constantly falling in love, with beautiful girls. Of course, he is as heartless as he describes himself as. He leaves them as soon as he's gotten them to fall in love with him. He doesn't seem able to love a woman long enough for her to love him for who he is--instead of for all the rumors and his talent.
He tends to be cowardly, and admits that he can only be brave if he's telling himself he's not doing what scares him. He is generally dishonest--he claims that his shining dishonesty will be his salvation. He is considerate and charming half of the time, despite being stuck on himself. At times he jokes about being greedy when he really is quite giving--though he has no moneysense whatsoever.
Likes: Girls, pretty ones. Reading, working with spells, being Unrespectable . Magic, being with friends, being the center of attention, buying nice things for himself and for others, being 'pretty'. He likes animals, dogs and cats included. He likes taking baths that are at least an hour long, and doesn't like to come out of the bathroom until noon.
Dislikes: Being pinned down, being trapped, heights. Heights scare him silly. Having his hair messed with, being angry, being sick (he always thinks he's dying). His baths being interupted He really doesn't like answering questions, and will often pretend to be doing something else to avoid them.

Jaella--The first person Howl met and liked at Zetetic. She promised to help him find Sophie and gave him cookies and lemonade. He loves her; in a big-sisterish kind of way.
Aaron-- Howl doesn't like him, he's scary .
Darcy--Howl hates her with a passion, but since she's a girl, he decided that he has to be nice to her. Darn it Darcy.
Alome--After an awkward friendship, Howl and Alome parted ways. Especially after the few parties they both attended and argued in, Howl decided its safer to consider it a good thing that faded fast.
Noel--Howl's a little wary of Noel. The man seems to know more about Howl than Howl does!
Bailey--She-it-whatever it is offered to help Howl find Sophie, so she-it's counted as a friend by both Howl and Calcifer
Natty--Howl's first ever 'girlfriend', though neither of them have quite an understanding of what the word means. They're good friends.
Maru--Howl likes her, she's nice and pretty. Not as pretty as Natty, but that's to be expected.
Luke--Howl's a little afraid of Luke, but was quick to hug him and say 'I luv you', if ever Luke got too scary.

Loki--Younger cousin, and his favorite out of the twins. Loki seems to be fond of spiders; which Howl approves of.
Milo-- Not so nice.
Aesica-- Younger sister, and a pest. Howl seems to be on her menu; he gets strangely tired when she touches him. Despite this, Howl does his best to be a good older brother to her.
Devin--Younger brother, and by far Howl's favorite out of all his siblings. Where Howl is, Devin's sure to follow. They never are far apart. Devin reminds Howl a great deal of Morgan, and he believes this is the cause for their closeness.
'Zuba-- Older sister, Howl likes her quite a bit. The two get along well, since they both have a liking for art.
Nataya-- Older sister, Howl hasn't met her yet.
Ginger-- Older sister, Howl hasn't met her yet--but he's heard from Devin that she's a mean, horrible dragon.
Zemel-- Older brother, Howl hasn't met him yet--but he's heard from Devin that he's quite nice.
Sophie-- His wife, from Ingary. Howl holds her in highest regards (but you won't catch him admitting that). He hopes that she will help him retrieve his heart, so he can love her once more.
Adrian--He's a mean, scary vampire. Howl's scared of him; even though Sophie says he's not going to eat him.
Tish-- Howl's grateful to her, but no longer likes her as much as he did once. She doesn't act as warmly to him as she once did, so he assumes the feeling is recipricated.
Luvvie-- An interesting girl, but Howl doesn't like her all that much. In fact he's borderline afraid of her. She calls him "Lindsey", and he appears afraid to correct her.
Miri-- Howl thinks she's pretty, but she's also a bit creepy. She frightens Leyla.
Axel-- Haven't seen much of him. Don't know what to think of him yet.
Elise--Howl's really fond of this girl. She's kind, and something about her strikes him as familar.
Demyx-- Cute kid, Howl likes him.
Niko--Only the coolest guy in the universe. Howl's taken a liking to the elf, even going so far as to advise him on romantic matters.
Kali--The only girl to ever have given Howl a dose of his own medicine, the wizard is in absolute awe of this young wi--mage. He's taken her as his apprentice; and hopes to learn from her, as well. Definately one of his closer friends, he may seek advice from her in the future.
Adam-- Howl likes him, if only for the fact that he recognized him on sight as a fellow fairytale character. He plans on taking Adam under his wing and teaching him about romantic matters.
Luka--Do. Not. Like. Howl absolutely despises this shadow. No one turns his hair purple and gets away with it.
Azrael--Howl really likes Azrael, despite the boy resembling a lubbock. He believes they could be good friends, if only they spend more time together.
