Dance || Himeko loves to dance. Although she doesn’t remember her years of ballet lessons consciously, the muscle memory is still there, and she will often seek out music whenever she can. She’s gone out of her way to acquire a small music player for her room in Negaspeace, to make sure that she has something she can listen to, and she tends to gravitate towards classical music, especially the songs from ballets.
Ikebana || Himeko loves flower arrangement, and she found herself gravitating towards certain forms and styles with the flowers she was able to acquire from discreet trips to the surface. A little research led her to ikebana, and the forms and lines felt familiar and comforting, so she started doing it again. Her lair in Negaspace is absolutely filled with flower arrangements, cluttering every available surface that she isn’t using for something else.
Virtues:
Polite || Himeko is unfailingly polite. Rudeness gets you nowhere in life, after all, and people are so much better at doing what you want when you say “please.” She knows this makes things go well for her, and she generally wants to have things go well. Politeness is, thus, something she prides herself on and something that she will always, always fall back on.
Demure || With no memory and no real knowledge of the world she finds herself in, Himeko tends to defer to the people around her. She’s quiet, shy, and reserved, and tries her best not to visibly make waves. It’s hard to disappear into the background when you’re part monster, but Himeko does her best to do it anyway.
Obedient || Himeko understands that her new existence comes with a chain of command. She understands that she should obey those around her, and she prefers to do it because it’s so, so much easier. She’s content to be a cog in the Negaverse machine, and to work to advance the people around her, and generally to be a Good Soldier and a good, obedient person.
Flaws:
Manipulative || Himeko will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, and often that means convincing other people to get it for her. Sure, she’ll do it with delicate requests and polite bows and all the trappings of ladylike gentleness, but she’s still going to play you to get what she wants, and it comes naturally to her--and no, she really doesn’t care that this tends to upset people.
Possessive || Himeko has lost so much since her transition into the Negaverse. She hates the idea of losing anything else, and is extremely sensitive to the possibility of being abandoned. If she thinks someone she cares about might be ignoring her, she becomes very passive-aggressive, sarcastic, sullen, and generally thoroughly bitchy, and if she’s pushed far enough, she can even get angry and violent in her desire to keep and have what--and who--she considers Hers.
Vicious || When she is upset, Himeko is a force to be reckoned with. She has a very, very cruel streak, and isn't above very, very nasty revenge - often with little apparent warning, since she's likely never given a visible sign she's upset. This is the only time where her games of manipulation eventually become less subtle. Once she's pulled off what she means to - and usually, if you're on the back end of her cruelty, it's pretty bad - she has to reveal her machinations and claim credit. She is very, very proud of how nasty she can be. |

Negaverse Alias: Captain Sakuraiite
Challenge: "Not to rain on your parade..."
Abilities:
Aura of Fear: Sakuraiite is able to project an aura of fear around her. While using this ability, she glows a dark purple, and anyone within 10 feet of her will experience a sense of fear and dread. They might attribute that to Sakuraiite, but they might also simply feel a general sense of Bad Things. This aura can be projected for 30 seconds at a time and used twice per battle.
Touch of Decay: Sakuraiite grabs hold of someone, and they feel as if their energy is being drained. This happens at a much faster rate than actual Negaverse energy draining, and does not produce an energy orb for Sakuraiite to turn in; instead, the energy transfers directly to her, and will heal minor injuries and give her a small boost that lasts for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the affected target will feel somewhat less drained, but at player choice, some fatigue may linger. Sakuraiite can use this ability twice per battle. |

Squire: A staff with an Ame-Ame Bozu on the end
Magic: Houshi focuses, and summons up a rainstorm in an eight-foot radius. At this stage, it get things wet, and can cause reduced visibility. The rain is real, and will leave behind wet ground and soaked people. Houshi can channel for up to 40 seconds at this stage.
Knight: A naginata, with the blade made of a glasslike substance that appears to have a storm inside it. An Ame-Ame Bozu rests at the base of the "blade."
Magic: Houshi focuses, and summons up a thunderstorm in a ten-foot radius. At this stage, there is the addition of crashes of thunder at random intervals, and lightning strikes at random spots within the radius. If the lightning strikes within a foot of a person, they experience a moderate shock and possibly electricity burns, though severity is up to a player and it is nowhere near as powerful as a real lightning strike. The rain is real, and will leave behind wet ground and soaked people. Houshi can channel for up to 50 seconds at this stage. |
