It was a quiet night for patrolling the city, with the winter rain adding a wet chill to the air and extra reason to stay inside. As the last bit of drizzle petered off, Hestia collapsed her umbrella with a brisk shake and sent it off to her bit of space. Hestia hadn't found anything to stop, save, or talk to in over an hour and it didn't look like anything would be showing up on her radar tonight. A little relaxed and a bit dissatisfied, she made a few stops on her way home, checking the sort of nook-and-cranny locations that smaller youma like to lurk in. The last stop was a large playground, showcasing several castle-like jungle gyms that were prime hiding spots for creatures. Bending down and about to crawl up a large plastic slide, Hestia paused for a moment to fish out a flashlight.

It had been quite some time since Sakuraiite's conversion from human to half-youma. She found that it suited her, really, but then, she had little to compare it to; her past before waking up as a monster was a blank, mostly filled in by what little Arsenolite knew.
At least he was as honest as he could manage. And at least she was alive.
She had her duty to the Negaverse, of course, and she had enjoyed quite a successful night of draining energy, and she had enjoyed the rain, simply letting it fall on her and taking it in. It felt...good. Like something she missed. Perhaps because she spent so much time in Negaspace, where there wasn't any weather. And even though the rain had stopped, even though she had more than her quota, it was nice to stretch her legs and wander a bit regardless.
Besides, there was the auric taste of a Senshi in the air, and this particular playground was just the right place for her to have some fun.
Teleporting was a little exhausting, but she had more than enough energy to make up for it, and so Sakuraiite appeared at the top of the slide, sitting sideways so her legs hung over the edge.
"Hello, Senshi. You look very busy."

Hestia startled back at the voice, the fuzzy little dust bunny sense of small youma suddenly replaced by something much more focused and potentially, dangerous. Whipping her flashlight up, the senshi was greeted by... Even after all these years, there's a part of Hestia's brain that immediately wanted to say costume, or even special effects. She'd seen human-shaped youma before, of course, but they were always palpably lacking a certain something that made them unconvincing after even a little bit of observation. After a moment, her brain came back online, and she replied, "Hello, person. I'm looking for youma."

Sakuraiite tilted her head to the side, and smiled. she knew she cut quite a strange figure, part human and part monster, and stranger still with the aura of a person, a Captain.
"Captain Sakuraiite," she introduced herself, casually. "If you're looking for youma, you've found one." She hummed. "Well, sort of. And you'll find I'm a little harder to dust than your average creature."
A laugh. Cold, cruelly amused. "If you'd like, you could see how well you do against me."

This is the point where Hestia, trying to fully embody Hestian beliefs and practices, should leave. She should not engage without clear purpose. She should not fight for the sake of fighting. And she most especially should not go out of her way to harm another being, no matter what side they stood on or what they represented. At most, if she chose to stay, it should be to talk and persuade. Or just learn about the other, gain the empathy she so often lacked. Hestia rolled her neck and then nodded, "Yeah." And then she was pitching the flashlight at the sort-of youma's head and springing up off the slide to jump at her. The dissatisfaction of the quiet evening disappeared under the much more satisfying, if guilty, promise of hitting something that could hit back.

Oh, this Senshi had fight in her. Good. Sakuraiite liked a little fight. She sprang to her feet, leaping backwards with somewhat inhuman agility, though she wasn't quite quick enough to avoid being whanged by the flashlight in the shoulder.
"Eager for a fight, then, I see," she laughed, and spun to aim a kick as high as possible while calling on that special little youma magic that let her seem so much more terrifying than she was.
She would see exactly how much fight this Senshi had in her.Quote: Aura of Fear: Sakuraiite is able to project an aura of fear around her. While using this ability, she glows a dark purple, and anyone within 10 feet of her will experience a sense of fear and dread. They might attribute that to Sakuraiite, but they might also simply feel a general sense of Bad Things. This aura can be projected for 30 seconds at a time and used twice per battle.

Catching the foot between her forearms could only slightly diminish the power of the kick. Strong as her, possibly stronger, which was annoying. Hestia shifted her weight to throw the other and then paused, eyes going wide, pulse hammering. Fear flooded her. Something bad was coming, was here. Instead of trying to pull or throw the chaos creature, Hestia let go and threw herself at the other, bodily slamming into her without much reason, thought, or technique. Magic was temporarily forgotten in the primitive need to stop what scared her.

Sakuraiite made a noise of surprise when the Senshi caught her kick. That was new, a trick she wasn't used to encountering--clearly this was someone with experience. That made this entirelt hing more interesting.
All the moreso when she let go of Sakuraiite's leg and launched herself forward. Fear was a funny, fascinating thing; it made people make all sorts of utterly bizarre choices, and apparently, this one really, really wanted to fight.
Sakuraiite smiled.
She let the Senshi knock her back, rolling with the weight, and brought her hand up to reach for the Senshi's chest. To sink in, and grab her starseed. Not to pull, no--this was far too much fun for that. To hold, to grip, to squeeze.

The two stumbled together and fell in a pile of swirling silks and crisp linen. The hand that had been mindlessly darting forward to grab ahold of the chaos girl's hair froze in midair. At first incredulous, Hestia glanced down at her chest and the hand within it. The sense of unease and violation slid rapidly into pain, almost enough to distract her from the horror that was dawning on her. With a pant, an increasingly more sober Hestia flexed her hand uncertainly in the air and then snaked forward to grip the other's horn, pushing it hard like a stubborn door handle to get them off of her. Now. Now now god please now!

Having her horn pushed ******** hurt. Sakuraiite cried out in pain, and she released her grip on the Senshi's starseed, staggering up and back and away.
She grit her teeth. Didn't want to admit how much it ******** hurt, but it did, and the absolute audacity offended her even more. How dare someone grab her like that, how dare someone touch her horn without her permission--
(The irony that she had just had her hands all over Hestia's starseed wholly escaped her, of course.)
"I'll remember you," she snapped. An angry, snappish little promise.
and then, she vanished, teleporting back to Negaspace to nurse her wounded pride and her growing headache.

in the dark of the playground, Hestia was still for a long moment before she remembered to breathe. It took another for one trembling hand to reach up and touch her chest. Whole and still moving. Starseed still in there, though it was jarring to have the understanding that a stranger had access to a part of her that was out of her own physical reach. All of it was jarring, really. All of it was wrong. It didn't take long for the terror to become something so much more lasting: rage.Yes. Yes she had better remember Hestia. Next time she would be... No. No that's not who I should be.....The mindless violence after that wave of fear should be treated as a lesson, it should be... The chaos aura had left, but the conflict waged long in her wake.
