There's nothing that a hundred men on Mars could ever do
Name: Jenna Kat Hansen
Nickname: Age: 15 16 17
Birthday: August 10th, 1998 July 31st, 1998
Sign: Leo
Gemstone: Ruby
Blood Type: B-
Fav. Food: Marshmallows, squid, bubble-tea. She's a texture person and really loves anything chewy.
Hated Food: Raw bell peppers, berries with tiny seeds, asparagus, okra. (Okra especially. It's like someone combined bell peppers and asparagus into one!)
School: Jenna passed her GED exam on 12/12/15. She previously attended Saint Magdalena's Seminary as Gemma, but quit school following her purification.
Hobbies: Reading- Jenna is a slow but voracious reader, determinedly devouring every YA fantasy and science fiction novel she can get her hands on. She is the sort of person who, when she finds a book that she likes, reads it over and over until she knows the story by heart and has digested every single word. She cannot abandon a half-read book - she simply
must know how the story ends, even if she thinks it is terribly boring or poorly written.
Drawing- While lacking any sort of formal training in art, Jenna enjoys putting her thoughts to paper in the form of elaborate sketches of fantasy scenes, exaggerated portraits, and short comics. She has a tendency to get lost in the details, frequently spending far more time on a piece than she initially planned to, with far more elaborate results than she initially intended to create. She likes to keep a sketchbook with her and feels antsy without it.
Collecting- Jenna collects pens, and jewelry, and rubber bands, and paper clips, and seashells, and all kinds of things - even things that aren’t really okay for her to take. Her collections are generally disorganized, stored in shoeboxes and ziplock bags or all over her shelves, but she cares less about knowing exactly what she has and more about having things, period. She takes comfort in being able to surround herself in trinkets that she can call hers and hers alone, and when confronted over objects in her collections that are stolen, is incredibly reluctant to give them up.
Wandering the fields in search of faeries- Jenna is deeply superstitious and puts a great deal of faith in folklore and fairytales. She likes to take long walks and let her mind wander, and she gets lost in the woods nearly as often as she gets lost in her thoughts. She also enjoys making flower crowns and daisy chains and leaving small offerings for various spirits whom she is certain
must exist.
Virtues:Perceptive- Jenna is very good at picking up on tiny sensory details, remembering them, and seeing how they go together. She’s the kind of friend who always notices when you’ve done something different with your hair and will be sure to compliment you on it. She is also very good at associating details with categories, relations, or specific people (even if they are absent) - she may quickly associate a perfume with a specific person, even if the smell is faint or she doesn't know what it's called.
Gentle- Jenna generally seeks to avoid conflict in everything she does. She is wary of other people’s feelings and her potential to hurt them, and tries to be as nice as she can, even when saying things that other people might not want to hear. She shies away from violence and encourages others to do the same, though her resolve, and therefore her success, varies. She is excellent in dealing with domestic animals and small children, though somewhat maladroit around her own peers,
Patient- Jenna believes that it’s better to do something slowly and
right than to rush things and mess them up. She is happy to take her time with things, be they projects or reading books or learning something new, and she doesn’t mind when other people take their time, too. Jenna is not one to be frustrated if something takes longer than expected or if a schedule slips, and she doesn’t mind waiting for things to happen as long as she’s been assured that they will happen
eventually.
Flaws: Insecure- Jenna has a lot of issues with self-esteem. She does not properly value her own potential or skills and spends a lot of time seeing herself as a burden to the people who care about her. She does not typically expect good things to happen to her, and is always surprised when they do, expects there must be some mistake, and waits anxiously for them to be taken away. She has a tendency to over-apologize, even for things that are not her fault by any stretch of the imagination.
Disorganized- Jenna has a tendency to put things down wherever is convenient for her and then lose track of them. The closest thing she has to an organization system is a series of stratigraphic layers, and while this sometimes works out alright for her, it usually doesn’t. She is also generally bad at time management - it’s not that she procrastinates, it’s just that she tends to spend too much time on the early steps of a project and not leave enough time for later parts.
Poor listener- Jenna is a terrible auditory learner, in part because she is easily distracted by other details. She might remember what color chalk someone was using when they explained a math problem to her with perfect clarity, but she probably won’t remember the process or the answer. It can take several repetitions for a fact or a rule to finally stick, and when she really needs to get something down, she tries her best to get it in writing, since she retains things a lot better when she reads them.
