The code called in the late afternoon on black friday, tugging gently at the consciousness of each and every knight it could reach: come to Olympus. Things are waiting for you at Olympus. On arrival, Mars was about the same as ever, dusty and dry, wispy clouds overhead and red earth beneath the knights’ feet.

At the center of the colosseum, as she had stood a few times before, was Mistral Squire - perhaps, to those who knew her, this meeting now took on a tone of apprehension; Mistral did not have the cleanest track record when it came to things like not accidentally killing people. She had her dog with her, a big, merle mutt, heavy on the pitbull, with mismatched eyes and uneven fur. The kind of dog that had to rely on personality, because it certainly wasn’t about to win any awards for looks.

Beside Mistral and her dog, the Code’s holographic scroll form floated in the air.

While she waited for everyone to get settled, Mistral occasionally waved awkwardly to familiar faces.

There wasn’t any indication present about what this meeting might be about, but that didn’t mean people weren’t free to speculate.

Ciel had been working on her homework when she heard a voice in her head. She was alarmed at first, but the voice didn't seem evil. It was calling her to someplace. Olympus it had said. Ciel tried to remember, the name sounded familiar but she wasn't sure. She felt the same tugging that she had felt when she was called to Hugbell's world. She let whatever it was take her to this Olympus. She vanished from her dorm room.

When she opened her eyes she was in a vastly different place and she had been transformed into Hyperborea. She looked around the strange place, she appeared to be in some sort of ancient colosseum and judging by the red sand she guessed she was on mars. What caught her attention most though was holographic scroll floating in the air. The code? She had heard it described to her but here she was looking at it, but why?

Then she noticed the familiar mercury squire standing in the center of the colosseum with her dog beside her. "Mistral?" Hyperborea wondered what was going on but she waved hello to the squire and waited for an explanation.

He arrived quietly, strangely silent and unlike his usual bright, cheerful self. Celsus stepped up behind a few of the others and let his eyes drift from one to the other, the golden coins adorning his uniform clinking gently with each movement he made.

He gave the previous arrivals a nod in greeting and then stood off to the side, waiting, with his arms folded across his chest.

It was about time for a break, time to relax and take some time away from the never ending line of hipters and coffee addicts that seemed to filter through the coffee shop on this day of all shopping days. He would be the first to admit that he did not like giving into the capitalistic spending of cash, but it was certainly good for business.

As he settled down into one of the far booths, a coffee in his hand, he felt a tugging at his mind. He did his best to put the nagging feeling out of mind as he sipped his coffee, his eyes closing as he let out a soft breath. He would need to try and visit his wonder soon, but damn if his concentration was not divided.

'Olympus...' The word kept repeating in his mind over and over. His brows knit together as he tried his best to focus on other things, but in the end he surrendered. 'What am I suppose to do...?' He thought to himself, letting his mind focus on that which was what he mind thought of when he thought of the mythical mountain.

In what seemed like mere seconds he was gone, his essence moving through space toward the location that called him so strongly. What would he see once there? This new feeling was certainly intriguing. He had done meditation before, but this was a whole knew level.

Once he emerged on Mars, standing there in the Colosseum, He had changed into Nirvana. His pale skin tinted the slightest bit red from the surrounding dirt. He blinked his pale eyes at those already gathered, he not really drawing much attention to himself, but certainly taking in all of those that were there, as well as what was around him. 'What the hell is this?' He wondered, his confusion painted on his face.

Thanksgiving had been a quiet affair -- uncanned food heated over the crockpot shared on plastic dishes with her fellow family-less loved ones -- but Black Friday had been a little more active. With only a limited budget to work with, Laney had set about flagging deals in circulars with a black marker and then hustled her way between stores, buying what she could afford for the people she wanted to give gifts to. She'd just been stowing all her purchases under her bed, along with some rolls of wrapping paper (she and Jenna always had plenty of it, since they liked re-papering the apartment from time to time), when the call from the Code had come.

No rest for the wicked, at any rate. Laney dusted off her hands, powered up, and gave into the urge to let herself be pulled away.

The hot dust of Mars appeared under her feet again, and she slipped off her shoes to keep the grit from giving her blisters. When she entered, it was with a sense of deja vu -- Mistral was, once again, standing to receive them.

Hvergelmir hoped it was good news.

This time, wanting to set a good example, she made her way to the front and took a seat there, folding her hands in her lap. She mouthed hi to Mistral and again to her dog -- then looked around to see if she knew anyone else that might show up. She set her shoes neatly on the bench at her side.

Verona had never been to mars, so the the call from the code had been strange and well...weird. Since she had never been to her wonder either, she was basically first time space travelling for this special occasion.

"Hey Hver." The newly decorated Squire pulled up a seat next to the other cosmos knight and nodded her head. A long leg stretched out and then bent to rest over another as she adjusted the ridiculously shorter...short dress then before.

"So what's this place?" She smiled, "You look beautiful as the last time I saw you."

Come to Olympus.

"Stop bothering me." Isaiah grabbed the spare pillow next to him and draped it across the side of his head. As he found out, it worked wonders for blocking out the revolting noise from Lorne's next door neighbors. But while the sounds of children playing muffled nicely, the voice of the Code loomed above such tricks.

Come to Olympus.

"No. Make me." Isaiah shut his eyes and hoped the voice would subside shortly. He knew not whose it was, either - or whether he was simply losing his s**t. Isaiah decided it must've been the latter, perhaps some rare case of pain-induced psychosis or painkiller-induced psychosis, but he hadn't yet decided on a phony reason for his phony condition before the Code chimed in a last time.

Things are waiting for you at Olympus.

Isaiah sighed heavily. "Then there better be a lot of alcohol waiting for me at Olympus. And I don't mean the cheap s**t." The shopkeeper sat up, focused on the power of Scholomance, and was soon whisked away to the target location.

Once standing among Olympus (which, he found, was quite different from any wonder he'd seen before), Scholomance summoned his cane weapon to lean against. The colosseum loomed up about them like a cage, and Scholomance felt wary, if not residually bleary. Others were there - one he recognized as Hvergelmir - but he wasn't aware of the rest. It was, at least, a fair cluster of knights and he knew quite well that he should exchange names and information as much as possible to expand his contact base, but hesitance halted the notion. What point would there be in collecting names now if he thought to terminate his knighthood?

Others looked just as confused as he, or as disgruntled as he. He would have addressed them, perhaps, but some kind of floating scroll in the center of it drew his attention. Is that what I'm supposed to be looking for in Scholomance?

Beside it stood a girl with prominent Mercury symbols. A dog remained at her side, and he questioned it internally, but made no effort to ask. Mostly he wanted to lay down and take the pressure off his injured leg.

To be honest, Mont Blonc had been a little - okay, more than a little - anxious about the tug to his consciousness. Not only had he never actually been to Olympus before, but the last time he'd shown up at a gathering of knight, so long ago now it felt like a lifetime, it'd been a battlefield and he'd been left isolated and alone. It did not mean he would not answer, but - he was afraid of what might wait for him there, irrationally so.

His fears were soothed almost as soon as he arrived; his yellow eyes, still fringed with bruises growing as yellow as his irises by now, widened with visible delight when he realized just how many familiar faces were actually there.

The first thing he did was wave eagerly to Mistral (he realized too late he was waving with the hand that sported a cast - two broken fingers were no major injury, but it was still cumbersome), because for all those that might have felt apprehension at seeing her, he lacked any of it. He had not known her when the incident on her wonder had taken place, and she had helped him where he'd floundered for so long - not to mention he had a hell of a big soft spot for her dog.

Hver, too. She was next, and he waved to her too, not wanting to bother her while another knight - Cosmos too, probably? - spoke to her, but just seeing she was there was enough.

When Scholomance appeared, it was the greatest relief of all, although a pang of worry settled in comfortably alongside it. He made his way over quickly, "Scholomance, " said in his soft way in greeting. The bandage was gone from his nose now, too, although there was still a very visible mark from the wound his own ring had left behind. It was still nothing compared to what his fellow squire had endured. "I'm surprised you came, " and he offered an arm, just in case his friend should want to take it.

It was funny, but he caught sight of Celsus last, only happened to as he cast a casual glance over the coliseum, finally allowing himself to take in just where he was. He was off to a side, alone, and he didn't look especially happy.

A light frown pursed his lips, and then he smiled again, waving at the Chronos knight and beckoning him to come their way if he wanted.

[ Bifrost ]

Was this the third or fourth time they'd been called to Olympus? The squire couldn't quite remember, though she couldn't deny she was thankful for the chance to get away from the cold of the city. For all her layers, the cold still seeped into the cloth at night. She entered the arena, and looked for the other Chronos knights. Blonde hair fell in a waterfall braid to her shoulders, held in place with a couple of bobbypins and a hairtie. No others it seemed beyond Celsus, who looked positively thrilled to be there. Well, it was early. Surely the others wouldn't ignore the call of the Code, though did Triumpalis even know what it was?

Bifrost glanced down at Mistral and waved, taking up post next to Celsus at a comfortable distance. She still felt a tad awkward since the carnival, and given his apparent mood, she'd rather give him a bit of space if he needed it.

She's standing next to him

[ Andronicus ]

The desert of Mars warmed her through her uniform, and Andronicus let out a happy little sigh. It had been quite a long time since she'd been to Olympus, and she hadn't quite realized she'd enjoyed coming here so much. Given, after all, the first time she'd been dragged into space, she'd been in two casts and out of the hospital for all of three days. The Code wasn't exactly known for its consideration. Kind of like a retail store manager, in that regard, though more incorporal and less... well, human.

The squire of Uranus chuckled to herself, taking a seat towards the front. She waved at Mistral, eyeing the dog curiously. She wondered how she'd gotten the dog into space... and how the dog wasn't just dying from no air. (Andronicus was under the impression that the magic that powered the knights kept them from dying in space, kinda like magical space suits. Just more stylish and less bulky.)

Then again. This was magic she was trying to rationalize here. Probably best if she didn't give it much thought.

She glanced around, wondering if Themiscyra and Ashur would be making appearances, or if she was going to be doing a running live messaging of the meeting. Whatever the meeting was, at any rate.

Andro is very curious as to how Mistral's dog is not dying from lack of air. Also Bifrost waves hello from the back

It was odd, hearing the call and answering. It was simple, sure, but that didn't make it any less odd, though given what he'd had to relearn in the past two months just about everything about simply being a knight was odd. It did color his life something fierce, though, and despite whatever harrowing memories he might have had near the beginning of the year after his ordeal...well, it was a welcome change of pace to his life during the spring and summer months. Yes, this was actually...nice.

Though that was probably because he had just about zero recollection of what had happened the last time he and all these other knights had answered such a call and volunteered to help the person who now stood at the center next to what looked to be an ethereal tome of some kind. And a dog. That was odd, as well, but one he was willing to overlook in favor of waving to a familiar face clad in garb similar in color to his own. It took a second, but he recalled her name to be Andronicus, and that she'd help him with an encounter with a General all clad in blue and armed with a sword. That was a long while back, though, and not entirely all that pleasant and worth bringing back up. After a glance behind him to make sure Themiscyra, who he'd been with before answering the call and who had shown up in the desert just outside of Olympus alongside him, was still there, he pointed toward the other Uranus Squire and the empty spaces beside her.

"Found us some seats, I think," he said with a small, almost unsure smile, then turned back to wave at Andronicus before making his way over. Hers was one of the few faces he could put a name to, so as he flopped into the spot just beside her he heaved a sigh and did his best to pull on some semblance of a smile.

"Hey. Did we miss anything?"

When the tug-call came from the Code, Marlin for once was surprisingly not on his little balcony watering his plants.

Instead he had been out in Lisa's garden, putting soil into the insulated boxes that his stepmother was planning to try out in next year's growing season.

Despite the warm chaoticness from earlier, it was just him out in the garden, with none of the others particularly wanting to be out in the chill November afternoon.

Marlin personally didn't mind it. He liked being in Lisa's garden - and given that his father didn't particularly garden it was very much Lisa's garden - and he liked seeing the changes that had gone on since his last visit down.

Soil bag empty, he reached for the next and that's when it happened - a call that was like a gentle tug - and one that he recognised for all that it had been a while since he'd received such a call.

Come to Olympus.

He hesitated for a moment because calls from the Code had become interlinked with memories that he really didn't like stirring.

Things are waiting for you at Olympus.

He continued to hesitate, the moment stretching into another moment, although he told himself that he was actually checking around to see if the coast was clear.

It was, although to make sure he stepped across to the greenhouse knowing as he did so that he had made his decision.

Come to Olympus.

Accepting the gentle pull, he let it whisk him away, Falias the one who stepped stepped foot on the dusty red earth of Mars.

There were other knights of varying auras already there when he slipped in, standing by himself in an empty spot and whilst most the faces were unfamiliar ones he did recognise a few faces.

Hyperborea, Hvergelmir, a blonde Squire (Bifrost) standing next to a Knight who he didn't recognise but who had curious glowing markings...

And down in the centre as she had been on the last couple of occasions that he had come to Olympus was Mistral.

Falias watched from his spot his green eyes a little pensive, and whilst he wasn't making any particular effort to be social, it would have been a lie to say that he wasn't somewhat curious.

Come to Olympus.

Olympus? Hafwen looked up from her notes and books with a frown. What now? Couldn't this wait till another four to five months later when her university entrance examinations were over?

Things are waiting for you at Olympus.

Well duh. The Code wouldn't have called for the Knights to gather at Olympus if there wasn't a just cause. Capping her pen and putting it aside, the blue-haired Crystal Academy senior got up from her chair and reached for her phone to send a text to her boyfriend.

Got a long distance call from Olympus. See you there if you're not busy?

So much for trying to get some quality studying in over the long Thanksgiving weekend. She sighed to herself, letting the call of the Code take her to the arid landscape of Mars where Olympus stood.

Glancing around at the faces of those who had already gathered and finding not even one familiar face (a fact that didn't surprise her at all given how sociable she was as Dallol), she settled eventually on a spot that hadn't yet been taken, arms folding across her chest as she busied herself in some people watching to pass the time. Hopefully this wouldn't be long. She was already behind on her revision schedule and couldn't afford to be delayed anymore if she still hoped to ace the coming mock examinations.

"And you look twice as beautiful as before!" Hvergelmir answered Verona enthusiastically. "Congratulations on your new power. May it serve you well."

She set her shoes down on the floor to make more room on the bench beside her. "This is Olympus," she said, looking around. "It's a special wonder on Mars that belongs to all knights equally. Our meeting place."

Farther back in the room, Hvergelmir spotted several knights she knew. Bifrost was here, and Hyperborea, and Falias -- she waved to each of them in turn -- but also two others; a sad pair indeed if ever she'd seen one. "Will you excuse me a moment, please," she said to Verona, sliding to her feet. "I'll be right back."

Hvergelmir made her way barefoot back up the steps, to where Mont Blanc and Scholomance were standing. "You both ought to be at home, resting," she said with a worried pout. "Please, at least sit down."

The last thing Myth had expected to feel as she was busy unpacking boxes in her new apartment had been a sort of dug on her consciousness. For a moment, she tensed, wondering if this was some crazy side effect of being a knight.

Carefully, she set down the vase she was unwrapping and closed her eyes, concentrating on the tug. It didn't feel evil. Just persistent. And, well, the mental whisper of Olympus. The idea of visiting the seat of the gods appealed to her. Even if she was unlikely to end up trading beauty tips with Aphrodite. Laughing a little at her whimsy, Myth allowed herself to power up and felt the tug strengthen as it whisked her out of her new apartment to... where?

The tall page was aware of others there. And lots of red dust. A coliseum looking structure. Not exactly what she'd been expecting Olympus to look like. Still, there was plenty to see and hopefully learn. Running long fingers through the tuft of lavender hair that graced her otherwise shaved head, Nis found an out of the way corner where she could see the girl standing at the center with a dog.

And then she promised herself that she'd track down that dog later and hug the ever loving s**t out of it.

Teide had never been to Olympus before, although she'd heard it mentioned from various sources. To finally be here made her giddy; there was a bubbly feeling in her stomach from being around so many different auras and costumes at once.

Looking around for a familiar face, Teide spotted Hvergelmir and Verona sitting on a low bench and made her way carefully through the crowd towards them. By the time she made it over, Hvergelmir had moved, and Teide looked around owlishly for a moment before noticing her speaking to two Saturn knights.

That looked important, she decided, taking a seat next to Verona.

"This is exciting!" she said. "Have you ever been to Olympus before?"

Triumphalis had no idea what the ******** Olympus was, though he could kind of discern that they were probably on Mars (he'd seen that movie, this looked like the place). So he was in outer space, which was a thing he'd been assured would happen eventually... he just hadn't been expecting it to sneak up on him.

There were signatures up ahead, bathing the ruins in front of him in Order's warm glow. Triumphalis headed into the colosseum and was much rewarded for it. Here were more knights than he'd ever seen - and at least two that he recognized.

Triumphalis made his way over to Celsus and Bifrost.

"What's all the commotion about?" he asked, looking around. All this seemed to be centering around a squire of Mercury and... what the hell was she doing with a dog? On Mars?
