Hobbies: Theater || Alistair never feels more comfortable than when he's on the stage, and he absolutely loves being in a starring role. He prefers classical theater, but he's not entirely opposed to acting in more modern works. He loves playing a character and truly getting into his or her head, and he tends to use what he "learns" this way to better his understanding of the people around him.
Mysteries || Alistair loves to write them, read them, and act them out. He prefers fair-play mysteries, so that he can attempt to figure out the solution before it's officially revealed. He tends to keep his own written ones close to the chest, since he doesn't consider himself all that good of a writer. He also tends to follow well-publicized cases very closely, and elements of them often make their way into his stories. Along with his love of hearing and writing about mysteries, he is part of a DC Mystery Club, a group that gathers to discuss local cases. Especially recently, they have plenty to discuss!
Arthurian Legends || Not so much a hobby as an obsession. Alistair inherited this one from his parents, both intense scholars of Arthurian myth. From a young age, he was fascinated and captivated by tales of brave, chivalrous knights doing great deeds. He loves to read the stories, research the potential real history behind it, and watch all of the movies based on the legends. So much as mention them and it's like an on-switch; Alistair will immediately turn into something very closely bordering on a squeeing fanboy. It's a little embarrassing. He can usually be found carrying a copy of Le Morte D'Arthur or some other collection of tales.
Virtues: Chivalrous || Both of Alistair's parents are Arthurian scholars, and from a young age he was raised with the rules of chivalry and politeness. He treats women with politeness and respect, but works very hard not to cross the line where it becomes condescending. He is also fairly polite to jut about everyone, and considers himself extremely honorable. A promise from Alistair is a promise for life, and he will never go back on his word.
Romantic || Alistair is a flirt, but he is the most suave sort. He is also intensely romantic, the type to shower his partner in spontaneous chocolates and roses, set up romantic evenings, and otherwise act like an utterly fantastic boyfriend. Charm comes to him as easily as breathing, but he will not flirt more intensely unless he is actually interested.
Observant || Alistair is no mind reader, but he's generally pretty good at reading body language and figuring out how people are feeling. He can pick up fairly quickly on situations. He's also fairly good at noticing small details in his environment, and the more familiar he is with someone or somewhere, the better he is at it.
Screw The Rules, I’m Doing What’s Right || Alistair is not afraid to ignore rules, laws, and orders if he feels that the “right thing to do” is contradictory to them. He has very strong convictions, and a very firm dichotomy between what he believes is right and what he believes is wrong. He will always stand up for what he believes in and have a friend's back.
Flaws: It's Not That You're Less Per Se... || Alistair barely acknowledges it, but his gentlemanliness and obsession with chivalric romances have instilled in him a very subtle form of sexism. He tends to underestimate women, perceiving them as damsels in distress meant to be saved. It's not something he'd ever, ever say out loud, but it tends to leak out in his behavior-he won't fight a girl because it's not a fair fight, he'd place himself between any girl and a threat, even if she was demonstrably stronger than him, et cetera.
Hard-Headed || No, Alistair is not going to change his mind. No, not even if you argue with him for hours and hours. He has very deep-set convictions, and he is not likely to change his beliefs. This can be very frustrating, because he absolutely refuses to admit that he's wrong, he'll just stop arguing with you.
Screw The Rules, I’m Doing What’s Right || This becomes a flaw in that even though Alistair follows his convictions, it is generally not a good idea to ignore orders from superiors, bosses, teachers, parents, etc in order to do so, and it tends to get him in trouble or make him look like a loose cannon. He has gotten into arguments with teachers for the sake of his friends and cut class because someone needed help.
Slow To Anger, Slow To Forgive || Alistair is not an easy person to upset. He's fairly decent at shrugging off most bullying and insults, and will let a lot slide. However, the best way to get him really, truly furious is by doing something that contradicts his beliefs. Bullying someone weaker or being a hypocrite are the two best ways to get on his bad side, and once you're there, you are there forever.

 Senshi: Eternal Sailor Tantalus, Dark Mirror Senshi of Temptation
Challenge: "I am the Serpent in the Garden."

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Tease! Sailor Tantalus holds out his hands and speaks the name of the attack, and an illusory golden apple forms in his hands. He offers it to one enemy, and then throws it. They will always roll away from Tantalus, and the target finds the compulsion to play fetch-the-apple almost...irresistible. They will never quite be able to actually catch the apple - if they get close, it will start rolling again. This compulsion lasts for twenty seconds. Sailor Tantalus can use this attack twice per battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Tantalize! Sailor Tantalus holds out his hands and speaks the name of the attack, and two illusory golden apples form in his hands. Eternal Sailor Attack: Final Temptation! Sailor Tantalus summons an illusory golden apple, but this time, when he tosses it, it simply rolls to the ground and comes to a halt. It is visible to everyone on the battlefield, but only effects those in a ten-foot radius of it, except for Tantalus himself. Anyone within that radius will become overwhelmingly tempted to have the apple and take a bite, and the desire/urge is so intense that it can cause multiple people to fight* to posses it.
If someone succeeds in getting the apple and takes a bite, they will immediately be overwhelmed with a feeling of guilt and remorse for their actions for the remainder of the attack, and someone successfully biting into the apple releases everyone else from the compulsion to fight for it. This attack lasts for a total of forty-five seconds in effects and aftereffects.
*fighting cannot be lethal, cannot use magic attacks, and is up to the player to decide if they would rather argue/debate/tackle/punch/kick the apple away from the other person/wrestle/lay on top of it, etc
Personal Item: Physical Description - A small lantern with a handle on top. While it is active, there is a glowing light inside similar to candle flame, but with no heat and no visible source. Benefit/Boost - The lantern itself magically lights up, and can produce small “fairy lights.” These lights essentially look like candle flames, and can float up to ten feet away from Tantalus and his lantern. He can produce up to six lights at the same time, and they can maintain themselves for up to ten minutes. Both the lights and the lantern itself give off a soothing aura, calming down anyone who is within about two feet of them.

2102 Tantalus (1975 YA) is an Apollo asteroid discovered on December 27, 1975 by C. Kowal at Palomar Observatory.
In the Past:

Culture:
Tantalus was known as the "pleasure planet." Its inhabitants lived fully in the moment, and little worry was paid to the future, and so most wrote them off as frivolous. However, the craftsmaship of Tantalan wine and silk was undeniably excellent.
The planet was most famous for its almost-constant wild pleasure parties, where wine, food and sex flowed freely and there was very little that was considered taboo as long as all parties were consenting adults. Things took place in full public view on Tantalus that would be hard to find behind closed doors on other planets. What happened behind closed doors...well.
Interestingly, Tantalus was occasionally the site of peace talks and other diplomatic conferences. Apparently it helped ensure everyone came to the table happy.
Economy: The Tantalan economy revolved around tourism and export of fine goods. There was a great economic gap, however, between the obscenely rich upper classes and the extremely poor lower class. The middle class on Tantalus was extremely small, and most visitors only encountered the high side of Tantalan life - as the nobles preferred.
Politics: Tantalan politics were a massive game of favor. Sailor Tantalus stood at the heart of it, because no one was more sought after as a lover/status symbol than the Senshi himself. It was assumed that the Senshi would prefer lovers who had the best interests of the planet in mind, as the planet's ultimate protector - thus being his partner was equivalent to a "trump card" in the often chaotic and deadlocked Tantalan Parliament.
At least, that was the public reasoning. In practice, Sailor Tantalus was directed in his choices by a small cabal of powerful nobles, who had been running things before his Awakening and continued to run things after it.
Religion: Few Tantalans paid much thought to the afterlife, since the present one was so good. Most were a sort of agnostic - tending to believe in a higher power, but not necessarily identifying with any organized religion.
Important Locations: Tentare: The largest and capitol city of Tantalus; most of the land outside the city was devoted to massive vineyards and farms. Castle Tantalo - Home of the royal family, where parties for important guests were often hosted. Villa di Tentazzioni - The palatial home of the Senshi of Tantalus. Strada d'Oro - The "golden road," a street in the upper districts along which a number of huge resort-casinos catering to the wealthy tourists that fueled Tantalus's economy could be found. Strada Maestra - The "high road," along which many members of the nobility of Tantalus resided. Hightown - The common name for the higher-class portion of Tentare, which by design was all most visitors saw. Lowtown - The lower-class districts of Tentare, rarely seen by offworlders.

 Glenn Holmes, father - 52 years old, a fairly well-known Arthurian scholar. He works as a professor at DCU, but does his best to make plenty of time for the family. He is a very caring man, if a bit prone to rambling about his passion for all sorts of legends.
Sorcha Holmes, nee Blackwood, mother - 50 years old, an Arthurian scholar as well known as her husband. She is a stay-at-home mom, and continues her scholarly pursuits as a hobby. She inherited a large sum of money from her grandfather, a famous author, which helps support her family. She is utterly devoted to her two children, and demands plenty of "family time."
Blair Holmes, sister - 21 years old, Alistair's little sister. The siblings have a fairly good relationship, if frustrating at times. Blair is fairly smart and rather precocious, and never afraid to simply walk up to someone and ask them all sorts of questions.

Name: Callisto di Tentazioni Nicknames: Calli
Calli lived on a planet of pleasure, and as its Senshi, he happily embodied every bit of it. He came into his Senshi powers young, when a Mauvian visited the planet and Awakened him, and was raised with that on his shoulders.
He was not born into a noble house; in fact, quite the opposite, his family was thoroughly poor and he took his current surname as a title befitting his new rank. Both his parents were deceased by the time he was Awakened, and though he tried often, he could not convince his sister to leave the poorer parts of Tantalus and accept help from his newfound nobility.
The Senshi of Tantalus was the Senshi of the people, and his sphere of Temptation was often considered appropriate as there were few temptations Cali did not indulge in. He was known as a hedonist, a flirt, and known to be well aware of his own good looks, but also a thoroughly charismatic man, much beloved (and much-loved, hurr hurr) by the people of his planet.
He was a free-love, free-wheeling young man until he met the Senshi of Planet Damocles, for whom he fell hard and fast.
Important Relationships:
Nicodemus Kyros: Sailor Damocles; Callisto's lover and extremely important to him.
Vincenzo: Born Tantalan nobility, but sent to the Knight academy to become Ploutonion of Saturn. A frequent visitor to the planet, and probably Callisto's only real "friend" on Tantalus itself.
