Personality Profile: Usually a composed individual, Mau could be called 'quiet' or 'aloof,' however neither would be quite right. He's reserved and studious until you actually start to speak to him. That's when his warm, even kind personality comes through. At times, Mau is even fatherly towards the younger rockets. His tone is usually deep and gentle, he's not one for raising his voice unnecessarily.
But he is not for an instant 'soft.' Having been raised in a rather harsh environment, Mau is tough, and his narrow blood-honey eyes sharpen, indicating when the niceties are a facade. He does his best to keep his temper under control, but everyone has their breaking point.
History: Mau transferred to Kodo from an undisclosed base, located somewhere in a distant region that is largely a desert. He has been a scientist all of his adult life, even before joining team rocket. His criminal career started after murdering his brother in law, and while serving time in prison, the local rocket branch broke him out in exchange for his services. Having nothing else to lose, as his wife already divorced him, Mau joined willingly and has been with them ever since.
Research includes, but is not limited too, modification of pokemon behaviors and move sets (Move tutoring) and attempting to alter "traded" (Read as: Stolen) pokemon's memories to accept a different nickname. See research subject Wooford, aka Aya for progress.
Mau's transfer to Kodo came about suddenly after his previous branch's boss walked in on an experiment where Mau had been trying to teach Magikarp "Explosion." The project was canned and after all the fish parts were cleaned out of the ducts, Mau was demoted and transferred to Kodo. Since transfer he has worked his way back up to Agent.
