(( OOC: This is a scheduled plot event open only to those who signed up beforehand. ))
Jinko City was a collection of buildings rising up from the vast grassy sward of the Calamus Plains, nearly all weathered brick and ornamental carvings by artists long dead, save for more modern designs here and there where the coastal storms had taken their toll on old apartments and houses. The settlement was small, but it had a curious weight lent to it by its accumulated years of existence.
A dark van sputtered to a halt and its lights dimmed, waiting.
Those assigned to the raid had been instructed to arrive on the outskirts of Jinko City shortly after midnight to meet their mission leader and receive further instructions. After the police interference in Camphoreon, information was on a need to know basis. The most anyone had been told was 'Agents: wear your stealth suits. Everyone: no shiny, noisy objects.'
After a time, four human figures became distinguishable in the gloom as they neared the vehicle. The tallest motioned for everyone to exit.

It was late, the weather was fair, but Cal couldn't stop shivering. It was obvious she was nervous, after hearing about what happened on the last raid. Would there be any injuries here? I have to keep on my guard at all times. Even though she should all the time, it just didn't come naturally for her. She clenched her hand into a tight fist and hoped to stop shaking. She focused on the task at hand.
Little information had been given to them about this. Perhaps not to case any leaks like last time, or so she had heard. This only made her worry over the smallest thing. She drew in a deep breath to calm herself down. No need to worry she told herself. Everything is going to be fine.
When they had reached their destination and were signaled to exit the vehicle, she hesitated. A split second decision processed in her mind. You already got into this, of course there was no way to get out of it. With that, she stepped from the vehicle, gave the elite a nod and waited for everyone exit.

Black, Sam decided, was pretty damn sexy. Maybe not as sexy as various shades of red, but it was close enough as far as she was concerned. Sure, some people might have joined Team Rocket for the money, or the power.
Bah.
Thrills, man. The thrills. Off into the unknown, in the witching hour, doing the ninja thing. Oh, hells yes. Grinning eagerly, Sam excited the van. Once out, she flexed briefly, before making giving her gear and clothes a once over. Yep, all good. Or at least as good as could be expected given the scant information she'd received. Prior failed raids? Bah, what was life without a little risk?

Leonard never went on a raid before, and admittedly he was a little nervous. The fact that the elites didn't tell him much didn't help either. The only thing he knew that it was going to need stealth... something that wasn't his specialty but he should be able to pull it off. Hopefully.
The silent car ride on the way to their destination made him even more anxious. Of course, he wasn't expecting music to be blazing or people chatting. But it was a little unnerving to say the least. When they finally stopped at the outskirts of the city, Leonard was relieved for the fresh air.
"So you mind telling us now what this is all about?" He asked, and then added a "Sir?" for good measure.

What was she thinking? Well, she wasn't thinking. A combination of promotion and having proven useful on the last raid had led to being called on for this newest soirée. That and she was one of the few agents who wasn't shot up and not yet back on active-duty.
At least this one called for stealth suits. Stealth was her thing, well, science was her thing, but stealth was in pretty close second. Plus, those stealth suits made her bottom look nice, not that she noticed or cared, but the person writing her wanted to comment.
Her stealth suit didn't seem too different from everyone else's, except that where the grunt's would have a little TR or TRG emblem on the breast, hers now said TRA. It was likely that most people wouldn't recognize her, since the mess of fluff that was normally white was now dyed black. But there were still a pair of goggles on top of the fluff, albeit night vision goggles.
Nyx exited the van along with the few others inside. None of her pokemon out of their pokeballs, even though Tesla, her black pikachu, was also fairly stealthy. No pokemon outside the pokeballs until necessary was a lesson well learned from the last raid. She stood silent and at attention as she waited for the others to exit and be addressed.

The shortest figure of the group was perhaps one of the most serious looking of the leading group. Fortunately, she had enough time to get out of her earlier disguise and to get suited into something proper. Any Grunt or Agent familiar with this particular Elite knew very well that the uniform she was currently wearing was not her usual choice. However, there was no room for error in this mission. Having baggy clothing accidentally trigger any sort of alarm was not a risk that the pink-haired Elite was willing to take. No, all of her clothing today was form-fitting, though in all honesty, her figure wasn't exactly impressive for someone her age. A lack in curves wasn't a bad thing. It meant there was less baggage on a person to accidentally set off any alarms.
She stood there, watching with narrow eyes and her arms crossed, waiting for everyone to exit their assigned vehicle. She didn't say a word, but she didn't have to say a word. Her stern glares were enough to let all of the Grunts and Agents know she did not think much of them. An optimist, Elite Agent Kunai was not.

Mau had been skeptical to say the least when he had received vague instructions to head to Jinko. First thinking it was a joke, Mau almost shrugged it off. But then, what if this was real? Better to be made a fool of for a practical joke then to piss off his superiors. Especially since he was hoping to put in the paperwork for a promotion soon. He pulled a dark cap over his distinctive 2-toned hair, and clipped his pokeballs to his belt- he'd painted them a mat black to conceal them. With a final check that he had a store of healing items, in case there was a battle, he left for this mission.
And that's how he ended up in this van. It was a little comforting to know that there were others here. It put some validity to this mission. Though he couldn't understand why he would have been called for something like this. With the van stopped, everyone was exiting. Mau followed suit and stood, finally glancing over at those others who were with him, then to the approaching figures. They were all so short....

One of the four figures, that waited for the arrival of the others, had really long blonde hair that was tied up into a bun. Also wearing a steal suit, Nikki stood there with arms crossed and a thoughtful frown on her face as the grunts and one other agent got out of the vehicle.
She had no Pokemon out at the moment, since they were not exactly needed at this time. However, Nikki's belt did contain several Pokeballs and undoubtably Darkfeather was probably among them. Waiting for the others to assemble, the blonde agent cast a glance to the two elites and her partner that were with her.

Aila had spent her entire life in Camphoreon. She had never had any reason to leave the vast city, and thus she had never left. However, reports advertising the exhibit of the Blue Orb in Jinko combined with the devastatingly poor market for jewels had driven the little thief out of her roost and on to greener pastures.
And greener pastures she had found. The journey had been an adventure in itself, complete with Aila's first view of the star-filled night sky and several unfortunate encounters with native bug-type pokemon. Her quest had not been without setbacks, but nonetheless she had managed to arrive in the historic Jinko City in time for the Blue Orb exhibit's opening. Glimmering like the most brilliant of gems and enshrouded in myths regarding its mysterious ability to call out to a legendary pokemon - Aila could imagine no better prize. She had no interest in whatever pokemon with which "specialists" theorized it could communicate, however; the only real merit she could see in the item was the beautiful price it would fetch on the black market. She could see her financial constraints vanishing already.
Dressed in her best heist outfit with a pokeball containing her ideal (and only) partner in crime at her hip and a notepad full of scribbles recorded during her earlier visit to the museum clasped firmly in her hand, Aila advanced towards the building in swift, confident strides, rereading her notes carefully to keep her predictions on the museum security's weakpoints fresh in her mind.
This operation would be cake. She was sure of it.
Of course, she also was not aware of the activity stirring elsewhere...

"Ma'am," the figure corrected. Nadja's sleek black stealth suit left little doubt that its wearer was female, as were the other members of her little group - except for Hayes, similarly clad, who had his Pokedex out and was fiddling with the buttons. The elite had removed her earrings for this, and the agent his glasses. Nothing shiny. Fabric cowled around their necks; feature-hiding masks to be pulled up later.
Nadja's gaze flicked over the group as she did a quick head count and made note of who was there.. and who wasn't. "No stragglers. Good." Her voice was low and murmury, but her words clipped and fired off with a businesslike briskness. Something glowed just over her left shoulder, dull red, and the air around her exuded a strange pressure.
"Hayes." She gestured; the blond held his Pokedex out so the holographic display was visible to all: a shimmering, deep blue orb on a plinth. The image was curiously flat and still and the sharp-eyed could make out reflections of people and the lines of a protective glass case: a photo, a date in the righthand corner indicating it was taken earlier in the day.
"Our target is the Blue Orb," the redhead spoke, pitching her voice to carry over the whispering grass. "Currently, it is on display in Jinko's museum. Agents Hayes, Nikki, Kunai and myself scouted the exhibit this afternoon; tonight, we steal it." She paused; Hayes switched the display to a floor plan, overlaid with notes.
"It is a legendary object; security is high. There are guards, cameras, motion and vibration detectors, and break sensors on the windows. Our objective," and the look Nadja gave the group indicated this was not a hope but an expectation, "is to be in and out within half an hour, tripping no internal or external alarms."
She paused briefly; the red light over her shoulder dimmed and bobbed. "I will make one thing clear before we begin: I will not tolerate carelessness or disorganization. Wait for instructions. Follow the chain of command. Do not rush ahead. Stay quiet and keep your ego in check. If you are a liability, you will be dealt with accordingly."
"Any questions?"

It was not past Kunai to accent her coworker's point about liabilities. She simply reached back to her pouch and pulled out a single kunai knife, stroking her thumb across the blade for all to see. After making certain everyone had seen the motion, she then flicked the knife back carefully into her pouch. Her weapons were not loose as usual in the pouch, instead padded in slightly so there wouldn't be any noise.
She didn't say a word. Agent Nadja had said everything that needed to be said.

Cal looked on at the figures that emerged from the wan. Most of them, she knew or had seen around the base. Everyone was clad in their stealth suits, her included. She pulled on her own, very uncomfortable and self conscience. Now's not the time for this nonsense. She kept herself in check, even though her cheeks were hot from the embarrassment.
Counting her items and pokemon she had hidden away, she straightened up when Nadja addressed the group in important whispers. She stared at the display intently, doing her best to take in all the information. Hadn't she heard some mention of the Blue Orb? It was a bit fuzzy, but she could remember hearing it on the news or reading it somewhere. It didn't look like this was some easy mission. She would have to pay close attention to her superiors. As the elite displayed her kunai knife, it sent a wave of chills down her spin. Kunai's threat was all the more reason to stay on guard.

"Freakin' sweet, dude," Sam's murmur was filled with awe. A legendary item, and they were stealing it from a museum. She almost bounced with the excitement of it. There was a huuuuuuge difference between stealing pokemon and stealing something like the Blue Orb. Sam really didn't want to mess this one up, for a variety of pointy reasons.
Of course, as she thought about it, that Elite's move with the knife was pretty sweet. Kinda hot too. Maybe she gave lessons? That, of course, was a line of inquisition for another time. There were objectives at hand.
Her grin returned as she shifted her focus to Nadja. There was only one question in her mind. "Our orders, ma'am?"

Leonard stared at the holographic image in puzzlement. It looked like a simple blue sphere, and yet there was so much security for it? He stared at it a little longer and... yeah, he remembered something about it. Some time ago it was stolen or something like that and caused an apocalyptic hullabaloo. Except then, if it had so much power, why would a museum in the middle of no where have it?
He kept the questions to himself though. It was just his curiosity that was thinking that, and it didn't really relate to the mission. Other than that they had to steal it. So he shook his head no when Nadja asked if there was any questions.
His eyes slid from the projection to Kunai's knife show. Like the orb, she looked kinda harmless but he heard the rumors about her. Leonard should be glad to have someone like her around but he could only feel even more nervous about the mission to come.

Nyx nodded. She didn't need to be told twice. If they set off any alarms, the cops would show up, and the cops seemed to have a shoot first, arrest when they're dead attitude about Team Rocket. Zero Tolerance taken to an extreme.
There was not a smile to be found on her face, these missions were serious, she didn't need a threat display from Elite Kunai to enforce that.
She had no questions. Further instructions would be given. For the moment, she looked over that floor plan.
