This past week had been a whirlwind. Her life had been thrown upside down and sideways. She was trying to make sense of it all, but it felt like she was spinning in circles. She knew she needed to take time to process everything that had happened, but she wasn't sure where to even begin.
First, she was a new fighter for justice, referred to as Senshi of Crocodiles. She had recently acquired magical ninja crocodile powers and could kick major butts which she thought was awesome. She now had a new opportunity to make a difference, just as she did when she trained the new sports recruits at school. With her newfound power, she was ready to take on the world and help make it a better place. She was determined to use her skills to do good and contribute to a positive impact on the world.
There were also questions about her past. She had to decide if she should confront her past or focus on her present and future. She had to choose whether to focus on the pain that her past held or the potential she had to create a better future. This decision was definitely difficult. Since confronting her past meant asking her adopted parents some tough questions. Questions like who her biological parents were, since her parents will continue to be her parents no matter what. She knew this could hurt them and that was the last thing she wanted to do. but she also knew that if she didn't find out about her past, Where did that leave her future? With more questions than answers? Or would it just leave a hole inside her that would never be filled?
On the other hand, some people might argue that it is better not to know about one's past. This could spare people from potential pain if the truth is difficult to handle. Additionally, people might argue that not knowing about one's past gives them a sense of freedom because they are not tied down by their history. Since in reality, she was happy with her life now and she really did have an excellent life. She has parents who love her, friends, athletic goals, and so much more. Could the past change all that or would she still be the same person if she found out?
With all these thoughts swirling around in her head she really didn't know what to do. So she lay there looking at her bedroom ceiling and decided that the past could wait for now. The past was not as significant as helping people, which was her new mission as a Senshi. Now she understood that she couldn't put the past off forever and she would have to look into it. But for now, she was content with not knowing about it. She knew she couldn't keep running away from her past. She knew that someday she would have to confront it and accept it. Until then, she would continue on her mission to help people.
