After the week Kiana had been having she was so happy today had arrived. It was the day she got to have a picnic under the meteor shower with her parents. They had taken some time off of their research to experience this event as a family. She felt like it had been forever since it had been just the three of them, but she knew their research was changing lives so it was okay. All that mattered was tonight was family time.

She quickly ran in from the back yard and greeted them at the door. With a massive family hug, which to her parents probably felt like an attack. She smiled up at them and said, "Welcome home!" As the hug finished she grabbed both of their hands, "Come with me!" She began dragging them as they both dropped their brief cases on the couch. She quickly got them outside and said, "Ta-da! Meteor shower family fun time!" She laughed a bit and listened as her mother and father said how wonderful it was.
She was so excited they liked it, and she quickly ran and sat down. Her parents weren't far behind. They were actually perfect from the moment they all got seated the show had just begun.
