Hiya Diary...
So this is the first time i've ever written in you, but I figure why not give it a shot. Daddy gave you to me today and I wanted you to know a little bit about your new keeper. My name is Sabrina Luna. I am currently in Middle school. Though what grade I'm in isn't really that interesting huh?
Well one of of the fun things about me is my dad owns a hotel. It's huge like the biggest in the city

So the whole staff as been amazing in helping me and my dad prepare. We have banners and streamers. We also have some black light type lighting since we have noticed how much she prefers the shadows. Well that and I'm told some of the staff caught her stealing some chocolate chip cookies. So I'm made sure she will have a fresh plate of them out tonight.
It looks amazing almost like a gothic welcoming party, but I think it fits her. She's dark and mysterious. Not only that but she only tries to love you when she thinks your not awake. I think affection is a little hard for her.
Though today marks a whole three months. Dad wanted us to wait a little bit till she could get adjusted to the place. Since when he picked her up. She was alone, cold, and super frightened. She's changed so much though and all the guest love trying to spot her in the shadows. It's almost like wheres waldo, but with a cat. crazy I know, but she is super adorable. Oh and she even opened up and became a mascot for an event which was like a huge step for her. She even had her own personalized hat and little kitty uniform. She was so great at meowing for her team.
I'm really glad she's apart of ours. Since it's been awhile since my dad and I have had anyone join our team. Even since mom - well went to a better place it's just been the two of us. The duo - dad and daughter - kicking butt at running the best hotel in the town. Well he runs it and I just help. So I think that's why this is just that much of big deal to me. I Don't really trust people much - other than the hotel family or my new friends but when she came along. I noticed that I think she needed a place to be and well we had a place she could. I mean I know my room is kinda giant, but she now has everything she could need in there. A bat cat cave. Tons of fluffy black and red cat pillows. Oh and I just added a new Kitty bowl with her name on it and bats in the background. Plus I've even put some stairs next to my bed, so if she's ever tired of exploring she can just prance right up with ease.
I wanted her to know that even if she was in a strange place, it was her place too. not just some random space or temporary home but her fur-ever home.
Oh shoot! I hear the bell. It's almost time!

Oh and we even took our first family photo and updated hotel photo with her in it. It came out perfect in the lighting and with everyone there. I never knew how great it was to be apart of such a big family and a small one. I truly am so loved and I'm so happy that my dad found her. It was almost like a wish come true. I mean sure she's not the cuddly type but she always comes back and I know she'll always be there. After all she's the hotel watch cat now.
Even if she doesn't realize it yet, but she does a good job. She definitely makes sure all those chocolate chip cookies don't get away. She eats them all up. Which is one of her main duties to know she's home. Our hotel chief is so great too. He's added a small menu for her to order off. Called Bellalunae's Menu of delights. She has salmon, shrimp, chicken, beef, carrots, stew, and so much more. He wanted to make sure she could have everything they had in the kitchen and more. Though I suspect he honestly he goes out and gets some fresh fish for her just for her. Since in the kitchen they have a little shelf with her name on. Named favorite kitty shelf. They don't know she saw it yet, but when she snuck in to grab her lunch for school she saw it. They even added a paw print sign near it and her photo.
No one knows how happy I am that everyone has accepted her. She real is apart of everything now and it made her so happy. As much I love my dad I just needed someone else there. Not a new mom or anything but a friend. Since I know how busy dad is with the hotel. It's nice not being alone in my huge room too. So I hope she knows how much I love her and even if she is a little creepy and loves the shadows. She's perfect to me and I'll keep trying till she cuddles with me. even if it takes forever. Oh and they are putting a new kitty door on the room for her. Since I have the whole top floor with my dad and a few other staffers they all said it was okay.
Oooh its dinner time. Sorry journal but I gotta go. I have to put out her food and get my own. After all no one wants to eat alone or eat cold food. Goodnight Journal.(word count 537)
