The Caves (5) : To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.Leaena knew there had been trouble on the Reservoir this Summer - Cauldron, she hadn't come away unmarked. So, she had decided to check out the Caves near the Reservoir to see if there were any dangerous creatures lurking inside as well. Her brother Etamin was on Duty as a Police Officer, her sister Pasithee, was still studying for exams, Darius was studying Tech as an apprentice, Sekhmet wasn't ready to come out in daylight yet, and she didn't really know or trust any of the other older Senshi or Knights that they knew yet, except for the ones they hadn't seen for a while, so to avoid having her head bitten off by her siblings, she sent a message out to Shedir. And on her way up there she saw a few other people too. "Uh, hello?"

 Shedir had just gotten the message from Leaena. "An adventure! Yay!" she said as she spun around and jumped out of her desk chair. This was the kind of text she was waiting for. The adventure she was waiting for. As she looked up the place on her phone, it was something about the Reservoir and the caves there. Now she hadn't been there in a bit and she'd definitely never explored the caves, but if there was trouble she would always be on her way to help. Especially if her friend was there!
She quickly grabbed her bag and raced out of her room. Since Luna was already taken care of, she was all ready to go so much quicker this time. As she sped out of the hotel, she ducked into her favorite empty alleyway and quickly transformed.
Grabbing her Senshi phone she texted "On my way. ETA 5 minutes." After that, she ran in the direction of the caves excited to see what was awaiting her there.  Christabel had heard what she thought was someone walking towards the caves. So naturally, with her curiosity, she had to follow. So in her Chibi Senshi form, she raced towards the caves. That was when she noticed someone else walk in behind her - they looked to be another Senshi. She looked like such a cute cheetah to her! Which was so awesome, though she would probably never tell her that. That was then she heard them speak. Now a part of her wasn't sure if she really wanted to answer or not, but the other part was like hey why not. They look friendly to me, and if not at least I'm in my super cute Christmas-like powered form so I could at least attempt to fight back. Now with that in mind, she decided she might as well speak.
"Oh hello there!" she said as she waved towards them! "I'm Christabel, who might you be?" Now it took every ounce of her being not to be nervous when she spoke. It was the one thing she loved about when she transformed, she had more power and could be at least a tiny bit more confident.

Leaena smiled at the new Chibi Senshi. "Hey there Christabel! I, Chibi Super Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs, greet you! How are you today? The last time I came the reservoir, there was a dangerous Youma in the water, however, some friends and I defeated it. Today I wondered if there might also be dangers in the Caves nearby. I've asked a friend to help me check it out. Would you like to join us?" Just then Leaena's phone beeped with a message from Shedir. Leaena read it and announced, "My friend, Chibi Sailor Shedir of Mummies shall be here in about five minutes. I will let her know that you are coming as well." Leaena texted Shedir with the news that Christabell was coming too, and that she hoped she didn't mind.

Christabel was so excited to meet a new Chibi Senshi. Since other than herself she had never met any other one. and just the thought of being able to meet another made her even more excited! Though she took a deep breath to hopefully shell her excitement. "I'm good thanks. It is a pleasure to meet you Leaena. I'm Sailor Christabel, Senshi of Mistletoe." As she listened about their possibly being dangers in the cave she nodded her head. "I would love to join you and your friend! Especially if I can be of any help." This would be her first real adventure, but she didn't really want to tell her new acquaintance that. Since she didn't know how they would react to that news. So instead she decided to just be all ears that way she was ready to go at a moment's notice.
As she was running Shedir had heard her phone go off. She quickly grabbed it and skimmed it quickly. Someone was joining them on their adventure "Oh fun, I wonder what they're like," she said aloud to herself as she ran just a little bit faster since her curiosity was getting the best of her.
A few minutes later and she arrived right on time or at least she thought she was anyways. It was hard to keep track when you were running. She stopped right in front of Leaena and from what she saw another Chibi Senshi. She was super cute with her christmas like outfit.
"Hey Leaena I'm here finally, it was a little further than I thought it was," she said with a smile as she quickly turned to the other Senshi. "Oh and hello to you too. I'm Shedir. Nice to meet you."

chi honda How strange... I am introducing you to yourself razz Leaena grinned, "And here she is now." Leaena had always been taught by her older siblings to make a full proper introduction, went further, "Chibi Sailor Christabel of Mistletoe," for it was obvious that she too was a Chibi, "this is Chibi Sailor Shedir of Mummies. Shedir, this is Christabel." "Warriors," Leaena had no idea where this was coming from ... ok maybe she did... but it was not normal for this version of herself, however she thought it might help, so she let it come. "There may be danger in this cave, or there may not be. Our purpose is to scout out that danger and make sure it is safe for Civilians. Remember, we are women, and we are strong. Therefore, let us remember our courage, in there and not act like the weaker gender... uh never mind...." she was going to say men.. but here ... now she had confused herself...

Sailor Hawk haha it is pretty funny. smile Finally tag. Christabel stared at the new person joining them and after looking her up and down. She decided she was the cutest-looking mummy ever. Not that she would say that out loud of course. Actually, they were the cutest chibi dream team ever. She quickly turned to Shedir and said a quick, "Hello!" Before she turned back to Leaena. She listened to her beautiful speech and nodded. She felt really empowered now. She jumped in the air and said, "Woohoo! Well on that beautiful strong note we better hurry up!" With that, she started heading deeper into the cave. She just smiled at the hello and listened to her friend have the most powerful speech she had ever heard. It was like she was the leader of their team and honestly she was good with that. After all her friend was strong and a great person to listen to in these types of situations. "Wonderful speech!" She said.
As soon as she finished speaking she heard the other senshi and watched as she rushed off. "Man. She has a lot of energy, huh?" She said to her friend as she just let out a laugh. "Guess we should start our cave exploration now then!" And with that, she quickly headed off following the other sailor's footsteps.

Leaena barely managed to contain a chuckle at her new friend's zeal. "Thanks, Shedir! My first. Let's catch up to her, in case she runs into trouble." Leaena smiled and with she followed her friends in.

Christabel suddenly came to a sliding stop as she noticed a light in front of her. "Woah," she yelled as she almost fell forward straight into the light. She didn't know what it was at that moment, but all she knew was it looked beautiful. Just like Christmas lights dancing in front of her. Part of her hoped she wasn't imagining it but then she realized she needed to warn her new friends. "Hey guys watch out ahead!" she yelled as she noticed some figures getting closer. Shedir smiled as she started to run, she was already having a blast on her first adventure in a long while. So she followed her friends old and new into the cave. She ran until she felt like she heard someone yelling something. the moment she realized who it was and what they were talking about. She had run right into the glowing objects. Since she didn't have enough time to stop after getting a bit distracted. "Oww," she said as she rubbed her head only to notice the glowing objects were crawling all over her. "Ekk!" she screamed as she stood up and shook her whole self as much as she could. Since who knew what these weird things were. She definitely didn't.

Leaena made her way quickly in, ready to fight, but not to suddenly endanger herself. "Shedir, are you alright? Christabel? What happened?" She immediately took a visual observation and giggled a bit, hiding her grin. "Sorry. I guess I forgot mention this. So, my brother bonded Mauvian wandered in here the other day, and discovered these glowworm things... and I guess tried to nibble on one -yuck- cause his mouth was glowing for an hour or two afterward. Then my older sister (both are Senshi) mentioned that some scientists are studying them - they discussed it in her science class. As far as they know, they are quite harmless, but yes, I agree, yuck."

Christabel giggled a little at what she heard. Well now her warning seemed a little silly. She leaned forward and picked one of the worms up. "hmm... it's really shiny like Christmas lights," she said as she placed the little guy on the ground gently. She noticed as she placed them down her hand still glowed a little bit, but she really didn't mind any chance to shine. "Well I guess that means we are good to go," she said as she raced forward deeper into the cave. Shedir nodded her head, "I see, that's interesting but well still like you said they are yuck." She slowly plucked the last few out of her hair and once she gained her composure. She noticed she was glowing and figured if it was only an hour or two maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Just something she had to get used to. That was when she noticed Christabel rush off. "so does anyone know how deep when need to go in the cave," she questioned as she tried to chase after the other chibi that seemed to have a boundless amount of pep and energy.

Leaena smiled at Christabel as she rushed off, then turned to answered Shedir's question. "I don't think too much deeper. Any further and I think we'll be able to sense everything that would be in this cave, but it would be fun just to explore the cave, right?" She smiled at her friend and then headed off after Christabel.
