Sabrina had just gotten up for the day and noticed her parents were putting up Halloween Decor! Now, most people with a birthday on Halloween would probably hate all the decor. She on the other hand loved it! This was her time of year, and it was a time she could dress in all black and no one said a word to her.
She quickly raced back to her room to change from her pajamas and grabbed her spider backpack from her closet. She then dug through a truck for some fishnet arm stockings, black and white striped leg stockings, and last but not least her plaid skirt and black short-sleeve I love Halloween shirt. Her perfect outfit to begin the day was ready.
All of a sudden just as she was about to text her bestie. Her photo rang...it said Unknown. Now normally she wouldn't pick these up, but part of her wondered if maybe it was one of the Senshi she had met and she just hadn't stored their number.
"Hello," she said kindly. All of a sudden she felt like death had swept over her from just the breathing she had heard coming from the other end. She waited for a second to talk again since she was almost worried too for some odd reason.
Then it happened a voice ... her voice but as if she had joined the other side. "Don't go to the park tonight..." it said slowly fading out and in as it talked, "if you do. Even the fates can't save you...from what is waiting there..." and after that, it just stopped breathing and disconnected.
Sabrina dropped the phone almost not believing what she had heard...how could she be in two places at once. This was crazy. She had to tell Leaena!
So she quickly grabbed her phone and texted her to meet her at the hotel entrance it was important.

Freakily enough, Dani was still shaking from her own phone call, when Shedir texted. She immediately zipped over, her darker face pale and dripping with sweat. "You got the phone too, didn't you?" Leaena demanded, after looking at her friend up and down. She sat down rather hard in the Lobby Chairs. "I wish that Etamin were here, or Pasithee. For once. Osiris would be awesome or even Sekhmet. They are wise, but they're away for one reason or another." She had a headache.

Sabrina rushed down the stairs of the hotel and was so happy to see her bestie there in the lobby.
Just looking at her she could tell she wasn't the only one that had had something happen. Her face looked about as pale as hers.
She quickly plopped herself in the closest lobby chair next to her friend and just nodded. "I did...It warned me about something and they sounded like ... me .. but a darker me..." she said with a shiver. She never had thought about her ever going to the other side, but this call had her mind going in all directions.
She just shivered at the thoughts, "me too. Though I'm sure we can handle this! though my thought is di we just trust the phone call and avoid the place, or should we go check it out just to be safe? People could be in danger..." she said knowing she was all for creepy and spooky but this call was something different it was like something unreal. Something more than spooky.

Leaena frowned. "We have to check it out. We wouldn't be proper Senshi, if we ran from danger every time, we were warned that we might die! Our mission as Senshi is to protect with their lives - not cower in fear." Leaena was shaking in her boots. She did not mention that there had been a sort of sadness, a melancholy-ness that she had heard in the voice that had called her.

Sabrina nodded, "You're right we're Senshi not afraid of the what-ifs!" While she was a little scared, she also was ready. Ready to see if this voice whoever they were knew what they were talking about. No matter how afraid she was alone with Leaena here, she wasn't just one person or senshi. With the two of them, she was sure they could conquer anything. With that in mind, she got up, grabbed her friend's hand, and pulled it toward the exiting doors. "Well in that case we better hurry and get going! After all, we've got a place to scout out. "

They made it to the park at the specific time and a shadow void was there. There was a Youma-like creature there appearing to be corrupting the young, with what looked like ... shadowed versions of older Leaena and Shedir themselves! The Youma-like creature laughed, when he saw them, "More young creatures to Shadow-fy! Get them my pretties!" Shadow Leaena went after Leaena. Shadow-L seemed dark and sad. "Why did you come here tonight?" She demanded of Leaena, once they were out of earshot of the Creature. "We warned you not to come!" They fought and it was a difficult fight for Leaena. "That was you?" Leaena was taken aback for a moment - then regained her composure. "We are Senshi, we are warriors, and we do not back away even from death itself!" Shadow-L shrieked. "This is what you become after tonight!" She flourished towards herself. "This is what this night did to me - us. I was once Chibi Super Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs! She - " she flourished to the other Shadow - Woman - "Was once Chibi Sailor Shedir of Mummies, my friend. We tried to change time, tried to warn you, but no. You had to show. " Then Shadow -L looked so tired, sad, and guilt-stricken. "Etamin, Pasithee, and Darius are no more. He- he ordered me to... " Nooooooo... Leaena was so horrified that she couldn't speak....

 Seeing that youma-like creature upon their arrival at the park, Shedir stopped for a breath moment to survey the situation.
That was when she noticed her shadowed self. It was as if her whole character had been turned to darkness.
As she heard the creature speak her shadowed self headed in her direction. "Are you serious!? I said don't come and what do you do..." her shadowed self spoke. "You should know me better than that! I can't just leave people in danger," Shedir spoke back as she dodged her thwarted attempts to catch her.
"Are you joking?! that's the thanks I get for trying to save you," her shadowed self spoke before continuing, "I mean I know you love spooky but I was trying to stop this from happening to you. or well us. "
As weird as this was Shedir understood her shadowed self's intentions but if she really knew her well enough. She knew she backed down from nothing especially evil of any kind. So she took a deep breath and spoke,
"I appreciate the concern but now let me save you!" she said with a smile as she throws her arms out in front of her, her mummy bandages begin to glow and more and more bandages appear. "Go," she whispered sending her bandages straight at her shadow self.
Her intentions were to get her out of the way and safe from harm. Since it seemed like this monster had control over her.
"What are you doing? Do you want to end up like your cat..." shadow self said as she tried to dodge the mummy bandages but of course, she was too slow having been shadowfied.
Shedir paused with flames almost appearing in her eyes. What did she say about her kitty...

Hearing their Shadowfied selves speak of the horrors, nearly broke Leaena- until she realized something. "Shadow Leaena - you broke through the control to make that phone call. Can't you break through the control once more? Help us!" Shadow L frowned and looked pensive - then concentrated. Some ethereal chains appeared around her arms, legs and neck. As she concentrated, they shattered. "Shadow S!" She called to her friend, though quite drained. "Fight it!" She flew at her Shadow friend and pulled at her chains!

Shedir couldn't imagine something happening to her kitty. What on earth could her other self be talking about? Part of her wanted to know; The other part did not since what if it meant she was hurt or worse gone... That was one of her worst fears losing those around her. Not that anyone knew that, but the thought literally made her shake with fear.
She quickly shook her head and listened as her friend spoke. While still trying to maintain her mummy wraps for a few more seconds. While in the mummy wraps Shadow Shedir took a breath and listened to her friend. Being wrapped up like this made it easier for her to just relax. She slowly took control for a moment, shattering the chains binding them to this beast's control. As she did so Shedir's mummy wraps headed back toward their owner. Shedir watched and smiled at the events. As she received her wraps back, she was never happier to see her other self in control of their emotions.
The Youma-like creature that was laughing at the beginning no longer was, as they quickly shook in fear, and ran away into the night.
Shedir smiled a great big grin and ignored the fact the Youma-like creature had gone running, and said, "We did it, guys!"

Leaena nodded smiling, but before she could say anything more, Shadow L raised her hand soberly. "He still must be destroyed." Leaena nodded once more, "I agree-" Shadow L shook her head and smiled. "You've done enough." She gathered something from the air in her hand, closed her hand around it, and brought it to her lips - then blew out what seemed to be large particles of dust over Leaena and Shedir. Leaena sneezed and found herself waking up in bed the next morning. She couldn't remember how she got home. Suddenly, her Senshi phone rang. She looked at the number: UNKNOWN SENSHI. That again. She picked it up. "Hey there." It was Shadow L - Only, not so Shadowy - in fact and light and light-hearted. "Just wanted to thank you for that night - Sorry to thank and run, but gotta to go. Etamin and Pasithee and the rest of the Court have invited Shedir and I to the Initiation Celebration!" There was a click. Uh what? So, they had things, hadn't they? Or was it even real? She looked back at her phone, and checked the last incoming call: Dari, two days ago... wow. She called Shedir.

Shadow Shedir just smiled towards Shedir, "Good job young one." Before she could respond the large particles of dust from Shadow Leaena was over her head. All of a sudden she opened her eyes and realized she was now in her bed. Not only that but she wasn't in her sailor uniform but more in her pajamas.
"How...How did I get home..." she whispered under her breath so very confused. As she sat up in bed she looked around for her phone. There it lay on her black nightstand. She quickly grabbed her phone and the second she did it started ringing. UNKNOWN NUMBER.
Without even thinking she quickly answered her phone and said "Hello?"That was when she heard a familiar voice answer, it was shadow Shedir or well regular Shedir now. "I just wanted to say you did a wonderful job. I was impressed. Now I know our future is in great hands. Sorry to make this quick, but Bellalunae and mom and dad are waiting for a picnic. So Thank you and have a wonderful life."
After those words, she had a huge smile from ear to ear as she heard the dial tone. Everyone was okay, that was all she needed to hear to be content.
"Goodbye," she whispered as she ended the call. "Oh, I have to call Leaena and tell her!" she said with excitement as she started to dial only to see an incoming call from her best friend.
Perfect timing, she couldn't wait to talk about all of the things that had happened. After all, they had made a huge difference in not someone else's life but this time their own.
