Radioactive Mysteries (13) : Destiny City has been booming, but with more people you need more power. Recently, an old power plant has been renovated and updated and just opened for business–but now people have been claiming dizziness or fatigue when in the area. Not to mention the animals. So far one shady, blurry video has been posted online of a strange bear-shaped humanoid ‘monster’ in the area. It’s difficult to tell if it’s a hoax or not, but whether or not you believe it, it might be a good idea to keep your eye out if you’re in the area. Especially because if you pass through, you feel like something’s watching you. It doesn’t have an aura so it can’t be a youma, but if you poke around too late at night you might find a strange creature that's built like a bear, covered in fur, but which has a strangely human presence. Something about it is just off--or, maybe it’s just your imagination. Maybe it’s just someone in a costume having a bit of fun at your expense. Still, its claws are sharp and it’s fast. When it runs through the forests, the trees seem to crack upon impact, and if you explore during the daytime you might find strange scratches and odd markings in the grass. The longer you’re in the area, the dizzier you get.
Note: If you choose to encounter the strange creature, your character will recognize that it is not a youma. The creature seems smart enough to understand human words but does not respond and does not seem to listen. It will always disappear before it can be caught or gravely injured. This RP can be used as a battle requirement for a character, separate from your ‘one youma battle’ per stage if there are two powered characters involved; you cannot write a solo and count this as a battle, and your character must be powered and interacting with another player’s powered character for it to count. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.
Shedir was so happy to have a break from her family's hotel. At least tonight anyway. Since it felt so overwhelming with all the guests coming in and out. She felt like her home had been invaded by strangers. While she was happy for her family's hotel business to be booming, it was still a lot. She was grateful for the moment of peace and quiet she had alone. She was looking forward to the moment when she could feel like the hotel was her home again. When that would be? She had no idea.
So she decided to walk around the town to clear her head. She wanted to take a break from the chaos of the hotel and enjoy the tranquility of the night in a way only a senshi could. And what better way to do that than to embark on a nightly patrol.
Plus she had heard there were rumors spreading around about civilians experiencing fatigue and dizziness when in the area. So tonight her goal was to investigate, so she headed to the main place of the rumor - the renovated power plant. "Here goes nothing," she said before running off. Even if it was nothing she was happy to look into it.

Urania had been just leaving the festival, but she wasn’t ready just yet to go home. She wanted to see the stars some more. She wouldn’t get such a clear night like this for some time.
That is how she found her way near the power plant. It was surprisingly dark for a place that produced light. She was very curious, too, about how they produced so much electrical power on Earth. Perhaps, she could look at the source?
It was all quite grand, if a bit dull and industrial. Not at all like how the people of Urania artificial produced light (that usually involved catching a fallen star).
She hadn’t expected to run across a senshi there. And one so young, too! Why, she looked to be the same age as Urania when she first left her world for the first time!
“You’re really young! You’re a senshi, too, right?”
Shedir arrived on site at the renovated power plant. She saw it was large, and definitely impressive. She was sure it would provide the city with the necessary power. This was the plant that allowed her family's hotel to grow, and house all those new guests. The amount of people may have been a lot for her, but she never wanted something to stop the hotel from getting the power it needed.
Though her Senshi side needed to get down to business on why this was the source of all the rumors. She was ready to begin her inspection, but just as she was about to start, she heard a voice. She quickly turned around, and was surprised to see an adult order Senshi in her vision. She hadn't seen many adult Senshi before so it definitely took her off guard a little bit. Most of the Senshi she worked with were tiny like her.
"Oh hello there! I am actually! I'm a Chibi, Senshi of Mummies or Senshi Shedir for short! I'm guessing you're also a Senshi? I will say you are a bit older than the ones I normally meet." she said kindly. Normally she would be a bit cautious but she figured the Senshi was probably here to investigate the same thing she was. Plus she never said no to help, after all sometimes teamwork can make a mission go smoother.

Urania remembered being a chibi senshi, even if it was a very long time ago. But she remembered the experience. She had apprenticed with the tribes of her world from her awakening til she was of age to become a full senshi. She spent three Kingdom Moons each with each of the forty-eight tribes. It had been a time of learning and also of adventure, too.
“Yes. I am a senshi. Sailor Urania, senshi of astronomy. But you can just call me Urania.” She smiled. “You’re the youngest I’ve met so far. What brings you out here?”
Shedir was happy to see that Sailor Urania didn't seem to mind her being smaller than her. She would be lying if she said she wasn't worried, but by her reaction she realized she was in great company. Shedir felt a lot better about the situation and was relieved to know that Sailor Urania was not judging her for her size.
"Astronomy? Now thats awesome, well it's nice to meet you Urania." she said with a smile. "Well, I'm glad to show you the small side of things," she said with a slight laugh before continuing on. She knew she was young and short. It was a deadly combo when needed, but she was happy to be the youngest senshi they met. Hopefully they knew that just cause she was young she could still hold her own.
"I heard some civilians were experiencing fatigue and dizziness. So I figured I'd come out and see if it was Nega or youma related. What about you? " Which was the truth, she was worried about the guests at the hotel. They were complaining and it was stumping her parents. So she figured if she could help, why wouldn't she?

Urania wondered about what could be happening. Another senshi had warned her about the strange things that could have during the Star Festival. And Halloween. And winter. And any other time people gathered, it seemed.
“I was just out exploring.” She said with a thought. “But if people are getting sick, we should definitely look into it.”
She wondered if this was one of those things that happened around Destiny City. She had been warned. But warnings only made her curious.
Shedir nodded, since it had to be Chaos right? Who else would want to harm civilians? After all she learned this area was full of strange occurrences. Some she had encountered herself.
"Well I'd appreciate the help investigating!" she said with a smile as she started walking a bit forward. That was when she felt it - something was watching them. Waiting for them but what? That was when she felt it! "Hey I think I feel something this way!" she said as she quickly rushed off towards the edge of the power plant. Since she wanted to end this pain for civilians as quickly as possible, she didn't even think twice about running off.
She stopped for a moment and looked around. Then she heard something coming from behind her, like a low growl from a beast. She quickly spun around and saw the source of the noise - a fur covered beast and they were looking straight at her.

Urania wondered what could be occurring here. She wasn’t experienced in the strange things that tended to happen in Destiny City. She was a complete newbie to it all. Perhaps that is why she didn’t mind following such a young senshi. Or perhaps she remembered herself at that age. She had been just as adventurous and capable of really seeing the world.
“I’ll follow you!”
Urania ran to keep up. If the chibi senshi had sensed something, she must be going in the right direction. Still, she hadn’t been prepared to find the source so quickly.
“Behind you!” She yelled as she watched Sedir turn around and come face to face with the beast. “Star’s Step!”
She attempted to bridge the gap between the two.

Basic: Star’s Step. An ethereal astronomy chart manifests around Urania and three stars become platforms to stand on. For the next 15 seconds, she can use the stars to create a path either vertically or at a 45 degree angle and cross over them. Allies may follow her on this path. However, enemies that try to follow will find that the stars will glow brightly, blinding them for 3 seconds and then disappearing under their feet. Three uses.
Shedir saw Urania's stars create a path and she jumped on them as quickly as she could. The path felt extra magical, plus so pretty, and she loved that it was created by stars. Shedir felt the stars guiding her and they seemed to be leading her somewhere away from that beast. "That was close! Thank you for that!" she said as she jumped off the edge of the path and was safe for now.
"Now it's my turn," she spoke as she looked around her area. She was definitely a good distance away thanks to that awesome star path Urania created. Good news was it meant she now had the perfect chance to show this beast what her mummy wraps were full of.
She quickly turned in the direction of the beast and yelled, "Mummified Phoenix come forth!" As her Phoenix came forward she smiled, and hoped that her Phoenix could help give them a little break.

She throws her arms out in front of her, her mummy bandages begin to start glowing, and her magical mummy bandages begin to unravel. Then it shoots out straight towards her enemies. Though as it unravels it begins to take the form of a phoenix. As it heads directly towards the enemy. If the attack hits it binds the enemy in a stronger mummified bond.
She can do this two times per battle. Distance travel possible is 12 ft.

“No problem!” Urania was relieved that Shedir got out of the way. She sighed for a moment. That had been a close one!
But now the chibi senshi could unleash her attack. Urania watched as the bandages transformed into a bird. It started to bind the creature.
“Wow!” Urania said as she moved in close. Maybe she could hit and get it to back off?
“No! Bad!” She yelled as she bopped the bond creature on the nose.
Shedir was happy her wrapped Phoenix had done it's job. They tied that beast up like there was no tomorrow. She was so excited, and when she watch Urania bop the beast she laughed so loud.
"That was the best finishing move I have ever seen," she said still laughing as she watched the beast seemed utterly confused and once her wraps came off the beast just ran off. One thing was for sure this battle was over and they had won.
"Well I think we can call that done," she said happily. She was so thrilled the battle ended so well. As she looked around she realized she needed to get home. Her parents would be wondering where she was soon, and maybe if she brought home some treats they wouldn't even realize. With that in mind she knew it was time to venture home.
"Well thank you again for your help, I really appreciate it and I hope we will be able to meet again sometime!" She quickly waved and raced off in the direction of her parents hotel, she knew the perfect sweet place to swing by on the way.
The day definitely was one for the books. She smiled to herself at the thought of the happiness from winning a battle and the surprise her parents would have when she showed up with a giant bag of goodies. She was sure they'd love it. She couldn't wait to get back and show them the treats.
