Add +1 damage to your attack every single time you do not miss. gaia_crown [ Rank 4] Sharpshooter: When you miss your next hit is always a critical that does 2x damage (unless you miss again). Please note that this does not give sacred points. gaia_crown [ Rank H] Critical Up Every 4 you roll is considered a critical hit. You do x2 damage. This does not give sacred points. gaia_crown [ Rank G] Specialist: Your critical attacks will now ALWAYS stun a monster. Thunderous sounds were resounding from the outside. The castle was under attack. He supposed it made sense. The horsemen did not have much to lose, while Camelot was practically on its last legs. This could be the end, if they were not able to hold this off. Shun took in a few deep breaths as he gathered up his equipment. He wasn't yet a True Knight, and while he had a few pieces of excellent armor, it was not much. It probably did not help that he had absolutely no experience (within his memory) of fighting the creatures of darkness.
That didn't matter. He had to fight. His choices were basically to stand and fight or to just let them kill him. His survival was not guaranteed should he do the former, but like hell he was going to lie down and give up. He had swore his sacred oaths. This was the exact sort of time where it was vital to be called upon.
He looked to where his sword rested, then picked it. Briefly, he unsheathed it partially, staring down at the blade. While he gazed upon his reflection in the steel, he... felt something. There was a great sense of urgency. Something incredibly important. He knew that much, but he couldn't fully remember what it was. Shun thought on it, trying to remember what it was.
It was gone as quickly as it had come, though. It had been right there at the edge of his mind, teasing him with the feeling of recollection. It was kind of a frustrating sensation, really. He couldn't remember. All he knew was that it was something dire.
Closing his eyes, he let out a deep breath. He would have to figure it out later. Right now, he had a different sort of urgent situation at hand. He sheathed the sword completely, then put it in its place at his waist.
It was time.

[ Morgana's Curse ]
Shun wasn't sure where he was right now. The area was filled with darkness, though he could see a lingering mist rolling around. At first, it seemed as though he was alone in this vast an empty place. This soon proved to be wrong. He turned around to see himself standing a few feet away from where he was. Except... it wasn't quite himself. A jagged scar ran over his left eye, and there was something about the way he glared that just spoke differently.
"You should not exist," the doppleganger spoke; his voice mimicked his own. The way he spoke, however, was different. Two curved daggers seemed to form in his hands.
Shun didn't reply, as he raised his two katar up defensively. He wasn't sure what this was, but it was obviously not something good. Some sort of Sidhe trick, perhaps.
"You fight for them. You are one of them. You are on the wrong side," the figure hissed as he slowly approached, "You could rip them apart from within. Kill them all when they think you are one of them... You should, even. No good will come from this mess."
Another step.
"But you will not, will you?"
Shun remained silent throughout this. He just watched the figure warily, waiting.
"Of course you won't. It would take something big to make you turn willingly against your brethren. But remember this..."
The man before him suddenly vanished. And he soon felt sharp steel resting against his throat. His voice whispered from behind.
"We are not the ones that die."
Just like that, he woke up, shooting straight into an upright position and breathing heavily. He touched his throat unconsciously as he looked around. Right. It was a dream. A nightmare. He was in the castle walls, though he couldn't really say with certainty that he was actually safe here. But he wasn't under the immediate threat of harm. There was no dopplegengar here. Closing his eyes, he ran a hand through his hair.
What was with that dream anyway?
