He had a fair supply of food to start with this time around. Maybe he did not need all of it, but he has not yet had a problem with not bringing food back to the castle. He thought Blacktide was ready for this endeavor as well, but it soon proved otherwise. A hornets nest was disturbed, and the horse was well on its way back to Camelot. Shun stared as the beast ran off, then sighed. He will have to do the rest on foot, it seemed. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 32 YOUR HP: 30

p2 Now that he was forced to go on foot, the journey was going to take considerably longer. He adjusted his pack of supplies that were slung over his shoulder, then stared down the road. No matter. Much to his luck, Shun chanced upon another cache of supplies. He was not going to question where this one came from. He would use whatever resources he could get a hold of. It was a part of the code fo the Raven, after all. He would take care with these rations still. They could be tainted. These supplies he would go through last. And once he returned to the castle, he'd see if anyone can test it for any problems. There was no reason to not be carrying it around, however. Another cavern was found. Shun began to make his way through, cautiously. He kept an eye out for anything that might jump out at him. Unfortunately for the knight-apprentice, it was not a creature that he needed to watch out for. The floor suddenly gave away as he walked, and he fell into a fairly sizable pit. He managed to land in a way that did not result in him breaking anything, but he still likely earned a bruise from that fall. Hissing lowly, he stared up at the hole he had just fallen through. It was not that high up. Grunting lowly, he jumped and grabbed onto the ledge, then pulled himself back to where he was a few moments ago. Once he was out, he dusted himself off and looked around, trying to see where he needed to go from here. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 32 YOUR HP: 25

Shun's woes with this quest were not over with yet. The cavern he had picked to explore apparently was a very unstable place. The floor was not the only thing he needed to worry about breaking. As he walked deeper into the cave, he heard something crumbling from above. The next thing he knew was that the ceiling was coming down. Quickly, he ran, trying to keep ahead of the stones that were threatening to crush him. He did not come away unharmed. A few pieces of the ceiling had managed to strike him as he was making his way out. Eventually, though, the collapse subsided. Breathing a little heavily, he looked around warily. For now, all was well. The knight-apprentice relaxed a little. Even so, he took a quick survey of his surroundings in order to try and make out where he was exactly. He was going to need to figure out a way back as well. For a time, he wandered to regain his bearings. Once he realized where he was exactly, he had also found something else. Something was resting upon a rock. Another piece of armor. At least he was not coming home empty handed, now. He took it, then cautiously made his way back home.
