Uru arrived shortly after the Great Knights were announced. He strode to the clearing wearing his full armor. He did his best to appear determine, but elation was the last on his mind. Shun, a knight he was not familiar with, had offered his life for the sake of all of theirs - the kingdom's future. The black knight gave a curt nod.

"You are certain of this?"

"Inspirational speeches bore me," Na'ima assured Shun as she approached the group. But she raised her chin as she spoke of himself dying, reminding her of the chance for any great knight's death. "I'm going to stand by the belief that our great knights do not have to die this time, considering the ones just chosen are likely more competent and less corrupted than the previous."

She crossed her arms, nodding. "Understood, Sir. Do you have a plan of some kind for us?"

"Fair enough." Ur nodded to the comment.

Shun must have known what he was volunteering for. He wasn't going to come out of this alive unless some miracle happened. Such as Merlin taking his place. But, at the moment, Shun was the Great Knight of the Black Order. Uru was certain that his life was forfeit should he had been chosen. He was ready to sacrifice his life for the protection of the people and the kingdom.

Uru looked up at Shun with furrowed brows. Follow him. Follow the code. It was what he had been doing and he had failed at every turn. However, he could not fail Shun now when it mattered. They were preparing for their counter-assault on the castle to reclaim their kingdom from the shadows.

His resolve was there.

"Uru'baen, my sword of justice, Remittuntur. It does not have a point, but it is an executioner's sword. As far as my skills go, I can stitch and wrap wounds quickly, something I must have picked up when I was younger." Hard to confirm when your memories are gone. "I have a full set of armor from the quests the quartermaster had offered to us, including my Legendary Wings of Phobos. From use, learning that it lets me move faster than usual and slowing my falls. Don't ask how I tested that."

"Cedric, my horse, had bucked me off a mountain side." He answered grimly.

"On another note, I am a skinner and leatherworker. Made all my gear myself."

There weren't enough of the other black knights gathered for her to comfortably just sort of wallflower in the back, and she didn't have the mindset to attempt to sneak off and come back later. So, Maple awkwardly joined the group in the clearing that their new Great Knight had selected for their meeting space.

To Uru she offered a small smile, glad to find at least one familiar face and the others a little wave. When her eyes passed to Shun, she wasn't sure exactly what to do. Bow? Offer her congratulations? Thank him for his inevitable sacrifice? None of those seemed particularly appropriate really. "H-hello..." the young knight decided on.

Oh, were they doing introductions? "M-my name.. is Maple... and this is Twigge." Indicating the claymore in her hands. Was there something else she had to say? Um.

"O-oh!" She could feel her cheeks flushing once again as the taller female explained what their new Great Knight had requested of them. Well, introductions had already been done which left skills.

It took Maple a moment to think about that one, "I've only.. fought a few battles.. with Twigge b-but... I feel I h-have d-done well with it..." There had been a memory saying her lessons with some sort of weaponry had gone well, so many it was coming back? There had been something else about that recollection though. She nibbled on her lip a little before continuing, "I had a m-memory.. about learning apothec-cary sk-skills.. but.. I don't.. know if I still recall that..." Or if it would help. Maple suddenly found her gaze shifting downward.

Shun listened to the others, taking note of what they were saying.

"Uru'baen, Maple. Those skills may come in handy later. We may not be the healers of the lot, but any additional aid will help, I am certain." he started, before finally giving his own, "I am Shun Kuroda. These katar are Penumbra. Like you, Na'ima, striking from the shadows, or at least when opportunity best grants it, work out best for me. I do not doubt the time will come when we may need to move behind lines to get things done."

Hearing Chel speak up, he narrowed his eyes for the moment.

"Oi. Introduce yourself as well. You are not getting out of this."
