The journey was growing more difficult as time went on. This much was to be expected. But Shun's supplies were growing thin. And unlike previous outings, he has not found any stashed lying around. It made sense. There were only so many leftover bags of food that one could find. Eventually, they would be taken by someone or something. He had a feeling there were not as many knights embarking on this quest as there was before. Lost in his thoughts, he failed to see a trip wire as he went through a cavernous tunnel. The moment he broke it, he heard a spring off in the distance. His eye went wide and so he quickly pressed himself against the wall. Numerous arrows whizzed on by, and he still was struck by one of them. That could have gone far worse, however. Letting out a breath, he checked himself over, then pressed on. It wasn't long now. He really needed to take time to carefully ration himself. Shun didn't think his supplies would last him much longer. But he could sense that he was close to something. A strong feeling in his gut, one could say. Sure enough, he found something. Once more, it was not the king. Instead they were a pair of very well made greaves. They would do. It would finish his armor, for now. It meant little, given how he was not a True knight yet. But it was still something. He picked up the piece of armor, running his hand over the metal. In the very least, his final quest did not go empty handed. This was done. Now it was time to defend Camelot from the darkness, and all the evils that came with it. Things were very dire right now. Camelot was in a state of utter chaos. And the Great king still was no where to be found. Shun let out a sigh. One more try. He would give this one more try. The man did not have high hopes, however. But, something had to be done. He scrounged up what supplies he could. It wasn't much, but it was still something. Then, once he had everything, he managed to grab a horse and then embark on his journey. His quest. For Camelot. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 25 YOUR HP:50

Shun was quickly reminded of how perilous this journey was. As he started to climb the mountain, he was having trouble keeping his footing. The horse wasn't having much of an easier time here either. Gritting his teeth, he tried to edge along one narrow path, carefully guiding the horse behind him. It was too risky to ride at the moment. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 25 YOUR HP:50

As careful as he tried to be, it was no use. Some rocks gave away underfoot, and he fell. Before he could fall to his demise, he managed to catch himself on the ledge. Some of his rations fell free from his satchel, unfortunately. He didn't notice yet, seeing how he was trying to not die at the moment. With a grunt, he pulled himself back onto the ledge, then let out a breath. That was close. Too close, really. The knight closed his eyes, then slowly pushed himself back to his feet. He couldn't linger long. He had to keep moving. ] QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 21 YOUR HP:50

Shun had forgotten how useless the horses were. This one might not have been Blacktide, but it was just as bad. He turned his back for a short while, and then the beast was gone. Running back to Camelot where all the hideous monstrosities were. He let out a breath, shaking his head to himself. He had finished a journey on foot before. He can do it again. And he will. Making sure he had everything secured, he went to continue on his way. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 21 YOUR HP:50

As he walked along, he must have triggered some sort of trap. A pillar crumbled next to him, tumbling down towards his position. He managed to get out of the way, though not completely. After it had settled, he turned and stared, trying to see what could have caused that to suddenly fall like that. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 16 YOUR HP:40

Of course, he wasn't truly in the clear. The stone had not completely settled. Further in, more parts of the cavern were weakening, with the loss of the one pillar. Before too long, it was all coming down on his head. He made it out, but barely. Now Shun found himself back outside, on the other end. Looking around, it seemed as though he had no way back. There was just a sheer cliff on all sides that wasn't the collapsed cave behind him. He had a rope, but it wouldn't bring him down safely. It wasn't long enough. Just then, he caught something out of the corner of his eyes. It was a cape of sorts, but there was something more to it. With a tilt of his head, he pulled it out to expose it some more. Wings. With a hint of caution, he placed them on. He wasn't sure how he knew, but he had a strong instinct that these would get him down the mountain safely. As stupid as that sounded. He took some time to consider his options. He would starve to death up here anyway. So, he took in a deep breath, then jumped off the edge. His instincts were true. He could fly.
