MORGAN HAS 50/50 HP
- If you are attacking, dont' forget to post his CUMULATIVE HP at the top of your post. You roll your usual attack mechanics 1d4. - Morgan does 5 auto damage for each attack you make. - Attacking him takes up one action point - If you wish to talk/negotiate/ask Morgan questions, please post your question you wish to ask instead in your rped dialogue in bold red and then quote Zoobey. It is possible in the throes of battle, Morgan is too busy to answer, but he MAY sometimes answer your question. MAY.
Cherry entered the area she didn't like what Morgan was doing, but for now she held her action, since another knight had already posed the question, she would have asked. Though Cherry would have asked the question much nicer than the dark knight had asked the question. She had her weapon at her side, and would attack if she found it necessary. She believed in her leader, wisdom was what was needed here, not rash foolish actions.

Morgan's HP: 48/50
Soren couldn't remember much of what he had been before a knight, but he knew loyalty. He knew that when it came down to it there was one person he would side with and fight for, though he had a feeling that that could change, and he couldn't' quite remember why.
What he did know was that, at least for now, he was on the side of his pledged knight. Percival. And Percival was conflicting with Morgan it seemed. It made his decision to go into action easy, lashing out at the Great Knight without waiting to hear how he answered the question. He didn't need to know. All he needed was trust, perhaps slightly blind, but trust nonetheless.
His blow was weak, but against a Great Knight he was simply glad that it had connected. The retaliation was too quick for him to avoid, a stinging cut on his arm that caused him to falter, falling back a step to reassess his position, already calculating the best way to re-engage.

What Morgan spoke of sounded too good to be true to Joy. What Gawain spoke of was too complex for her to comprehend. What Percival spoke of made the most sense to her. She was no great thinker and the motley crew of scars all over her body suggested she was no great fighter either. And though she could not recall her past, the way her limbs itched for movement strongly suggested to her that she was not the sort who could sit idly by.
The silence between the three stretched out for eons, as far as Joy was concerned. And she was very concerned because the Great Knight she'd pledged under and swore to serve was now locked in battle.
Their duty was to the Great King and the idea that someone would rule in his absence? Morgan's words sounded as if the Red Great Knight would usurp the Great King! She could not let that stand! While Gawain's words sounded equally treasonous, the Green Great Knight spoke of preserving the kingdom. And wasn't Preservation only one step removed from Protection?
Other apprentice-knights asked for the Mirror's purpose but Joy could not bring herself to remain still for much longer. Spying a brave soul engage the Red Great Knight spurred Joy forward. She doubted her skill and experience, but she did not doubt in wanting to keep things safe. There were risks too great to take and with Gawain and Percival rebuking Morgan's actions, the blue knight-apprentice lunged forward.
Her blow was a glancing one, severely outclassed as she was Joy felt some minor pride in even landing an attack. She didn't have much time to dwell on her minute victory as Morgan easily returned the favor and then some. She faltered back, somewhat surprised that she had not been struck down dead despite the Red Great Knight's ability to do so.

[Lawrence] Morgan's HP: 46/50 - With 3 defend added
Lawrence listened to the argument with what approached interest for him, uncertain what to make of the artifacts and the mirror. Generally he was uncertain of most things however so this state was familiar to the short blonde man who was still covered head to toe in the lifeblood of the wounded. He had spent the last hour or so swimming against the failing tide of human mortality and - for the first time since he had sworn himself in - feeling that he had some purpose and direction. This meeting however made him restless and stagnant again, slipping back into the desire to simply stop and do nothing at all, he was not overly fond of the sensation.
It simply stood to reason to him that he should protect the individual who most preached motion and action, taking a stand against whatever may come, active in this situation made more sense than passive, especially when their chances of survival staying dug in here looked to be less than zero.
He stepped up silently before Morgan, intent on fighting anyone else who sided with the forces of stagnation and hesitance. He did not feel strongly about a lot, but apparently motion and chaos were something that he cared about, as far as he cared about anything at all.
"Without a leader we must lead ourselves." he stated calmly and flatly. "I agree with Morgan. In war, action makes all the difference."

As Koray ran into the battle he saw Morgan. Perfect just the ugly mug he wanted to smash. Twirling his staff the youth ran at full speed. Sliding to a stop as he saw Lawrence stand before the Knight. What? Seriously....WHAT?!? He stared open mouthed at the other before gritting his teeth. Shaking his head he pointed his staff at the other Knight.
"What?!? As much as action speaks...sometimes less action is needed as well. Touching the gate might very well have spelled our downfall! Think of the siblings we've seen fallen so far. What if the gate fells more of us at the end of the day? We stand stronger together than apart!!! THINK!!!" as he exclaimed the last word the youth charged forward...hoping to push past the other apprentice and get to the Knight.

Xanther hastily approached Morgan and proceeded to attack. He needed to get his attention somehow and confronting him somehow seemed like the best option.
"Hey! All of you just calm the hell down!" He shouted as Morgan struck back at him. "We are not at war against each other! This is madness!" Xanther kept his distance with Morgan and the knight who was protecting him. "Sir Morgan, please..." He breathed out. "reconsider this, or else... who knows what will happen..."

To be honest, Amy was confused. Why were the knights fighting? Shouldn't they all work together to keep those shadows from taking over or getting to the mirror right? And what are the sidhe? How come no one was asking that question? She thought that the enemy was called the horsemen? Sidhe would imply that these things are something else entirely. Something that these very same knights failed to mention to them, which they should have! Withholding valuable information like that could very well doom them all at this point. What happened to the greater goal here?! To keep Camelot safe! To keep its citizens safe!
This wasn't right. Morgan, her leader, wasn't right.
What should she do? It isn't right to go against one's leader, but...Could these knights really call themselves leaders if they were bickering amongst themselves like little children? With one inciting violence and the other trying to seemingly upsurt their king?! Amy frowned, the muscle movement irritating the scar she got on the side of her face. Damn raccoon....However, could the king really be a king if...
He was absent?
That is another question left unanswered. Her frown deepened and she looked down at her feet, sighing before looking up when she heard her fellow knights arguing:
"Without a leader we must lead ourselves." "I agree with Morgan. In war, action makes all the difference."
"What?!? As much as action speaks...sometimes less action is needed as well. Touching the gate might very well have spelled our downfall! Think of the siblings we've seen fallen so far. What if the gate fells more of us at the end of the day? We stand stronger together than apart!!! THINK!!!"
"Hey! All of you just calm the hell down!" "We are not at war against each other! This is madness!" "Sir Morgan, please..." "reconsider this, or else... who knows what will happen..."
This is what they needed to avoid! If it wasn't for Sir Morgan, this.....This dissension and chaos would not be happening right now! These knights are not leaders, they are not anything more then men arguing over power and nothing more in her eyes. This has to stop!
"This isn't helping! Why cant you see that?! The time isn't for action, it isn't the time to become king! Its time for us to stand together against the greater threat outside THOSE doors!" Amy pointed her scythe at the door and the noise happening outside of it. "Do you think attacking these knights are going to help our cause?! Were only damaging ourselves! Say we take down sir Morgan, then what?! We're down a powerful ally that we could've had against these sidhe, horsemen, or whatever they are called! Yes Sir Morgan started this, but that does not mean we have to finish it! Do not attack him, DO NOT protect him! Try to work on convincing the others to help calm him down!"
She shook her head one last time before running towards the knight, taking a swing and missing on purpose, trying to prove her point. This wasn't helping and they needed to see that!
At least she was no longer confused about it all now, she knew what needed to be done, it was just up to the rest of these knuckle heads to get it together.

[ JOY HAS BEEN CHALLENGED ]]
Micheal might have been drinking again. just a little. on the walk. Where did he keep the bottle of whisky? Well somethings were better kept to himself.
Still while he might have been drinking on the battle field Micheal knew some very important things. One! they were in the middle of battle and Two! they would loose if there was in fighting. so when he saw his partner attacking his leader there was nothing to do bit try and stop her.
"Joy!" the name switch was subconscious. Usually he called her happy but he was mad. "What the hell do you think you are doing!" he moved in between her and Morgan. "If you are going to fight him, you have to get through me first!" some small part of him wanted this, to test his metal against her. He held his ax in front of himself and stared her in the eye.

On his right arm is a series of scars as well as a tattoo of a tiger. Under the jacket on his shoulder is another tattoo of a star.
Micheal has a nice red cloak that was torn at some point. He still wears it. he also has a tool belt full of little items designed to be helpful in a bad situation. Over his shoulder he has a heavy ax slung which he carries with ease. He has a smile full of adventure, and a touch of mischief.
She turned towards the sound of her name being called and gave the red-haired knight-apprentice a small smile. But her relief was short lived when Michael demanded her fight her. He was protecting Morgan?
But, why would he- No, Joy frowned. Of course he would. He'd sworn to serve Morgan, it was only appropriate to be loyal to one's liege. She brandished her halberd at him.
"Fine," she spoke evenly despite the tension in her muscles.

Morgan's HP: 43/50 (I believe this is correct, considering Lawrence's 3 Defense and Koray's following Attack of 4!)
[Action Point: 1 of 4]
Yuki approached Morgan with purpose, catching only brief snippets of conversation - shouted or otherwise - that were happening within feet of himself as others took it upon themselves to either challenge or defend the Great Knight.
"Great" Knight. It didn't even seem a title that should have been given to someone who was so despicable. Yuki might have laughed at it, had he the stomach for even sarcastic humor.
"You lack empathy. You see those of us fighting the same war as beneath you." Yuki stated firmly toward Morgan, unsure if his words would be granted so much as a consideration. He didn't care. "How can you call yourself a defender of your King's kingdom, when you care not for the people you are protecting?"
Either ignorant of the risks, or shrugging them for what he believed must be done, Yuki aimed an upward arcing swing of his flail at Morgan. He did not make contact, and cursed under his breath. The more experienced knight's counter had him taking a hasty step back, shielding a wound on his forearm.

"I almost forgot," Morgan sneered, holding his form proud, "the Great King took your most precious memories away. You don't remember at all do you, but how could you, each and every one of you that I rescued from the Great War and pulled out of the purge. This is how I am repaid. The greatest shame is a King that can only move repurposed puppets to cover his own disgrace."

"I don't believe you!" Yuki spat. Surely, even if he did aid them, it was for some gain of his own. More, he couldn't believe that Morgan would have been the only Great Knight coming to their rescue. There was no way.
"Regardless of whether or not you agree with his choices, he is still your King! The only shame I see here is in your desire to rule us in his absence!"
Again, he was moving forward for another swing. Morgan had experience and speed over him, but Yuki's anger still urged him toward the fight. There was a deep satisfaction as his weapon made contact, but it was not at the cost of more harm to his own person.

Morgan's HP: 36/50 (critical hit)
((Action 2/3))
The Knight finally spoke, and if anything it just made Soren more willing to fight him. This Knight, if he could still be called that, was making it clear that he was willing to shirk his loyalty. To place his own interests above that of the King he had chosen to serve.
There was a place and time to go against such a man, but now, when he was absent and they were under attack, was not that time. To make decisions based on whatever he felt was right was beyond the knight's power. Guarding what was already here made sense. Or even as the other Great Knight, Gawain had said. Waiting to make a decision. Trying to hash something out.
Just seeking to take control wasn't something that Soren could support, and that was something he could put into action as he moved to attack again.
It was a glancing blow, but he dug in with it, trying to force more power behind his blade. He was rewarded with his blade carving in a touch deeper before he staggered back from the Knight's blow.
