You hear a commotion, and before you can say another word, Galahad appears. He is flanked by a number of knights.
"You will understand when I say this, there is a plague that is infecting many our knights. It is of utmost important that we find who they are first. All of you will be subjected to proper investigation. It is for the benefit of Camelot that we do this. Because of this, I kindly ask that you all follow us to the dungeons. You will only have to stay overnight, until we can figure this situation out."
He sounds both worried, and stern. It doesn't seem like he actually wishes harm, though these days, it was difficult to tell who was friend or foe.

The dungeons are not so bad.
Once you take away the mold, the mildew, the dankness, and the horrific smell of some prisoner the knights had probably forgotten about that was rotting somewhere. The dungeons were a long row of rooms, all sealed with metal bars. The knights had their weapons removed, though they were promised to see their weapons again if they behaved post investigations.
The only set of stairs in the dungeon went up to the right, through a guarded hallway and then into the courtyard. Torches kept the place decently lit, decently.
Time passes. More knights are placed into dungeons. Scarce food is brought down. More unconscious knights are brought in.
Finally, it is the late evening when Galahad appears again. He looks more menacing under the dim lighting. "Unfortunate news," Galahad begins, "I am afraid the corruption is deeper than I could have expected. You will all have to be retained here, and be given a proper sendoff. It is better to let the corruption die, then to have it infect the rest of Camelot. The castle will remember you for your noble sacrifice."
He leaves, and the door closes behind him, and never opens again.

THE DUNGEON CATACOMBS
gaia_crown[ Getting Comfy in the dungeons ]: Roll 1d12 to see what dungeon you end up with. Please put what dungeon number you are in in BOLD RED at the top of your post. While you can shout out to anyone in the dungeon, you can only cooperate/ interact with people in the same dungeon number as you. Also match your dice roll to the result below, as each room as a different item. Feel free to post any and all investigations in bold red. You have UNLIMITED rp posts, but only ONE investigation post PER user so use it wisely! You will be QUOTED if your character finds something plot related. Instead of waiting for immediate gm reply, please feel free to INTERACT WITH OTHER USERS AND TAKE THIS TIME TO RP.
- As knights don't believe in shackles, your character is free to roam within their room, but they cannot leave the prison cell at all. In addition, their weapons have been taken from them, all their weapons.
- As long as this "prison" phase lasts, your character CANNOT use questing OR the arena. This is due to obvious IC reasons. When your characters have found an escape, then they can continue on with questing/arenas. Consider finding an exit the IC and OOC priority, unless your character really likes dank, smelly, terrible dungeons. Again, once ANYONE has found an escape, then the two subforums will be unlocked again!
- This is an exercise on teamwork and communication. When talking to another player make sure to QUOTE them. Only by a group effort can you piece together possibly what is going on and hope to escape the dungeons.
1. You are in the dungeon closest to the stairs. You notice at the stairs one of the torches is missing. Inside your dungeon room is an old chair. 2. You notice there is a long gash at the base of your dungeon. It is hard to tell because it is covered in dust. 3. Your dungeon seems to be dank and dripping. Water is pooling from the ceiling above. Where is it coming from...? 4. Something decaying is in your dungeon room. You are almost scared to find out what it is. 5. You find a rusted key. Perhaps it goes somewhere? It is too small for the locks on the prison doors. 6. Your room seems to notably, for some reason have a tiny window. You can hear a bit of conversation going on outside, but you are too far away. 7. Two half-used torches have been discarded in your room. Perhaps with some kindle? 8. You find several skeletons in your room. Literal skeletons. They have been here a long, long time. 9. Your room seems a little breezy and you hear snippets of conversation. Something about "The execution date for the prisoners" 10. A butterfly seems to have flown into your prison room. It rests on the side of the wall, a bright red. 11. You see a long rope, hanging from the side of the prison. You're not too sure what it's used for. 12. Something shiny catches your eye in the corner. You're not too sure what it is.
gaia_crown[ DUNGEON PRPS ]
- You CAN start a prp with anyone in the dungeon. Keep in mind if you are in different rooms, you can talk to each other but you cannot interact other than talking due to distance. Dungeon prps are solely for RP flavour.
gaia_crown[ SOLOS, MISSED RPS ]
- You can still post a solo and do all the stuff here by backposting, then reading the page prompt at the end of whatever thread you picked, then coming here to the dungeons. You can also just skip the previous stage and immediately move to the dungeon.
gaia_crown[ SACRED CARD ]:
- If you posted in the chapter two great hall, tower, or courtyard, you get +1 sacred cards. Posting over 300 words yields you +5 sacred points
4. Something decaying is in your dungeon room. You are almost scared to find out what it is.
Koray went into the dungeon without any fight. He knew it was useless...it was freaking Galahad. As he entered the place he froze at the Knight's words... "I am afraid the corruption is deeper than I could have expected. You will all have to be retained here, and be given a proper sendoff. It is better to let the corruption die, then to have it infect the rest of Camelot. The castle will remember you for your noble sacrifice."
Wait....WHAT?!? He spun to look back at the now closed door. Oh...JUST GREAT!!! He punched the wall. Wincing as he then pulled the limb against his midsection. This. This just became peachy. He groaned as he looked around his cell...
Picking up the scent the youth paled. What...what was that back there? He looked around for others...oh please spirits above do not let him be the only living thing in here....

My character's name: Koray Karga Character's journal link:Journal BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Koray is tall, lanky with long dark blue hair. Eyes are mismatched now. Left is a deep azure blue, right is a murky blue gray. The right side of his face is covered with a wide banded eye patch due to blinding wounds sustained during his flight to safety. He usually can be found in a Violet tunic and dark breeches. Dark knee high riding boots. Usually has his hair up in a puffy ponytail to avoid it in his way. Ivory skin tone. Around his neck on a leather cord is a coiled up snake ready to strike. Rank of character apprentice-knight. Sacred Points obtained: 20/100
2. You notice there is a long gash at the base of your dungeon. It is hard to tell because it is covered in dust.
Quarantine. Shun narrowed his eyes as Galahad explained what the ordeal was. Damn that Mordred, or whoever he was. His eyes closed as he considered his options. He could try to escape now, but fleeing here would likely only incriminate himself further. He wasn't sure what would happen, should they find out he was one of the cursed knights.
Perhaps his head would roll.
No. He wouldn't run here. It was far too risky. He would likely be seen. Instead, he complied, begrudgingly. He would find a way out later. When there were fewer eyes watching.
Besides... if they were going into the dungeons, perhaps he could find a further clue as to what the hell happened with Mordred and the casket. That appeared to happen down there...
And so his weapon was taken from him and he was escorted down along with some others. The smell was horrid down here. As he was placed into his cell, he closed his eyes and waited. And waited. And waited. Knights were still coming and going too frequently for now. But he was keeping tabs on his surroundings.
When Galahad finally reappeared, his eyes narrowed.
So that was how it was going to be.
He was not going to rot in this cell. Not if he could help it.
"Che..." he scoffed lightly. He supposed he should have seen something like this coming. The impersonator had to be pretty crafty to set up this sort of witch hunt. And it worked out for the Sidhe in the end. It meant there were far fewer knights to oppose them. Especially ones who may know too much.
Shun began to look around his cell, trying to find anything that might be of use for the sake of escaping. He noticed something on the ground. A long gash of sorts. With a tilt of his head, he began to try clearing away the dust with his hands to reveal whatever it was.

SZCZEOSNY IS NOT HAVING ANY OF THAT THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Lucky had overheard enough of what Galahad had been saying to be wary. As soon as the great knight began rounding people up, Szczeosny darted behind a bunch of debris.
He wondered if he should warn anyone what was going to happen. Concerned, hepeeked around the edge of the broken stone, in time to see Galahad himself subduing several knights with a swing of his weapon. Nope, he reassured himself silently, not necessary. Kinda obvious. They'd get the idea.
He scooted farther away from the chaos.
The hard part had been avoiding Galahad's attention - it was relatively easy to follow the shadowed and empty courtyards of Camelot until he made his way... outside?
Hm. He hadn't really thought about what to do next.
LURKS IS IN CELL 12 Something shiny catches your eye in the corner. You're not too sure what it is.
Lurks kicked up a fuss, but not enough to stop anyone from taking her-- and they'd ripped her hood in the process, no longer in one piece, no longer able to hide her face and become something other.
Now she was just a dirty knight without a weapon, stuck in a cell.
"There is a shiny here," she muttered, pawing at the bars sadly.
Noemi couldn't believe the words she had heard, quarantine? Locked in a dungeon? She had just found Milo and had just watched the only mentor she had fall. Now they were claiming her to be corrupted and sick? She sobbed, heart breaking at the lack of heart from Galahad.
She wanted to leave, no longer wanting to be in the castle, anywhere but here. And as she moved to escape, another knight knocked her out.
When she woke up, it was after the door was locked and sealed. This was it.
Ridon finds this incredibly suspicious and would rather know why they're being kept than go quietly! Which doesn't end well at all. He get's past a few guards then smacked upside the head and knocked out.
Well Ridon, at least you tried. At least you tried.

ATTEMPTING ESCAPE!
He wasn't sure what all of this was about but he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that it would not end well for him, not with the butterfly mark etched into the skin on the back of his hand, and not with the sheer amount of people who had witnessed his willingness to defend Morgan(a), not to mention those who had watched him get the mark as well.
And like a fool, he couldn't even have lied about it all or apologized for his actions. His stubborn behaviour may now have been his downfall.
Eyeing the knights that approached with Galahad, Wrath knew that he had two choices. Let himself be taken peacefully, and likely become executed for a treason he had not even committed himself to, or try to make a break for it.
He was big man. Making a break for it seemed like it could maybe go in his favor. It was, he assumed, better than what lay in store for him if he did not make it away, and he really couldn't have made himself look worse, he was sure.
So, he fought, pushing past several knights with an angry roar and with a show of brute force. They toppled over, not easily, but they toppled, and he was about to make a break for it, to freedom, or whatever may lay in store for him.
When, instead, Galahad intervened. With a sharp crack of a lance over his head, he was downed, knocked senseless as darkness overtook him.

The word dungeon never mean good things in the medieval time line. Hearing that, Yu snorted about the plague. If they were infected by it, then the Great Knights were as well, in reference to the Great Knights acting like crazy men in the basement room.
Reluctant to follow and though Galahad was lying, how ironic, she sneaked through some knights but encountered by some, they hit her and she fainted. They totally were planning something bad.

Yuki had carefully guided Riley out of the Great Hall, hoping to get her out into fresher air and away from the crowd. With how shaken she had been in front of Lancelot, the knight was not keen on leaving her alone.
But, he'd wanted to go back to locate Jason. He'd assured her that he'd be gone only a few minutes to do just that.
Yuki hadn't expected to cross paths with another Great Knight - Galahad - and he certainly didn't expect him to have several other knights with him. Anxiety knotted in his stomach when he heart the man's words, a suspicion leaping to the front of his mind.
Was this plague... Anything to do with the burning mark he'd discovered on his body?
It didn't take but seconds for Yuki to realize that any investigation would easily reveal the mark that was currently hidden from sight, and he felt fear gripping his chest. What would happen to him, if that was what they were looking for?
It had been foolish to try and run, but in his mind were only visions of being locked away to rot or worse...
He'd barely gotten a running start before he was taken to the ground by the weight of another knight. What struggle he gave was short-lived before something struck hard into the back of his skull, and everything went dark.

Lawrence simply tried to walk away from the idea of captivity, he didn't even really try and hide it, simply said no thank you, turned on his heel and was promptly knocked out completely.
Uru had gone in willingly. He wasn't going to fight with another Great Knight, now that they were down three. He dutifully handed over Remittuntur, promising he will see it soon again and entered the dungeons below. Inside, he sat down and waited.
