Cat Form Description ▼
Star Color: Black. Eyes: Icy blue. Fur: He's hairless! His skin is pale, peachy pink, with a slightly more brown underbelly, and pale purple tabby-like stripes all the way down his spine. Face/Ears: Long, narrow head with a straight profile and wedge-shaped muzzle. Lack of fur makes him look gaunt and accentuates many of the dips in a cat's skull. Peterbalds have massive, bat-like ears. Body Type: Gremlin is short and scrawny, with an old injury that makes his back left leg bend at a bit of an odd angle. He runs a bit slower because of it. Accessories: Thick, black fur wrap around his neck, hooked together at the ends with a small chain.
Human Form Description ▼
Star Color: Black. Eyes: Icy blue, narrow. Hair: Hairless. He wears black and purple tied scarves. Some of the purple striping on his skin is visible down his forehead. Face/Ears: Slim face with long, narrow nose. Retains his massive, bat-like ears. Skin Tone: Gremlin is mostly very pale, but he retains some of the purple tabby-like striping down his forehead, back, and tail. Body Type: Thin and short. He stands at 5'3" and weighs barely 100lbs. Clothes: His humanoid form comes equipped with quite heavy winter wear in many layers with almost all of his skin covered. Likes hoods, belts, fur, and wraps. Wears blacks and purples.

Motivations ▼
Gremlin. Hates. People. They are inconsiderate, rude, loud, greedy, careless creatures that don't deserve to have the run of this planet, let alone however many others they're walking on. Chaos or Order: the side doesn't actually matter to him. He just knows that he wants them eradicated, and if the planet gets destroyed in the process, what does he care? It's not like Earth is his world, anyway.
Chaos is... the most convenient option, Gremlin supposes (also he didn't really get much of a choice in the matter. When a general sovereign sees a Mauvian for the taking, there's not a whole lot of room to argue about it). The Negaverse is full of the most volatile offenders, the worst of all the things he dislikes, but they're also more likely to dispatch of other humans indiscriminately. If Gremlin wants the most people vanquished for his effort, it is easier to provide corrupt senshi to the Negaverse.
With that being said, they are in a war, and both sides taking each other out is fine by him. He doesn't want a pile of the worst being all that's left. Order Mauvians can take senshi acquisitions from him without much effort.

Cat Snatching: Gremlin's favorite activity in the entire world is hunting for kitties (typically real cats, though he isn't above trying for Mauvians) that he can liberate from humans. Whether they are actual strays or pampered kittypets, Gremlin wants to whisk them away from their norm and bring them to this trill forest where they actually have to hunt to survive but will be free from human oppression and the dangers of the city. He doesn't actually spend much time in this forest himself, since there's... not much to do there, but cat-kind will be better if they separate themselves from the people lording over them. There do seem to be a lot of other, bigger animals out there, though... Huh.
Dumpster Diving: Above all else, he is a scavenger. Gremlin will dig for food and spare parts, and scraps of fabric to build his nest. Did you see he was naked? He needs to keep warm too, you know! Gremlin is actually part ferret, so he construes most things as 'useful' and hides a lot of junk tucked away in cubbies and crevices where most people won't find or disturb them. Even though he gets extremely offended on the off-chance he realizes one of his caches has been disturbed, he has so much stuff and in so many places that he can't usually tell when something is missing.
Swimming: Despite having no fur, his skin is actually more difficult to maintain than your average cat. Naked kitties are oily, and this attracts dirt and grime and stink that they can't quite lick away. Gremlin likes to bathe in nice ponds and lakes (rivers tend to be too cold for him) and use the grass to scrub himself off with a good roll around. 'Clean' isn't the word he'd use for it, but it's still better than being covered in dumpster filth. And if he's enjoying a nice, sunny bird bath and a little flying snack comes by, all the better.
Virtues ▼
Patience: Gremlin hasn't adapted much to 'having a purpose,' so he still exists in a state where he is content to wait for things to come to him. He can be as still as a statue and as quiet as a mouse for hours on end, sitting tucked out of sight and watching for anything that may be of use or interest. Gremlin is in no hurry. He has no reason to be. Typically sits atop walls or cars and waits for potential senshi to wander past, rather than actively seeking them out. Same as when he's looking for a snack. A bird will fly by or a mouse will scuttle past eventually. Tends to be very patient and forgiving with other Mauvians, especially. **Not very patient when dealing directly with humans, but is patient in terms of things happening around him.
Persistant: When something is worth having, Gremlin isn't inclined to just let it go. He doesn't need to make an acquisition as soon as he sees something, but he tucks it away in his memory to be sure to scoop up later. He has an amazing memory (how else is he supposed to keep up with all of his caches) and rarely forgets things he is interested in, whether it's obtaining a person, a stray cat, or remembering the best places to snack. He can take no for an answer today... But he'll be back the next day. Send him away as often as you like: he'll be offended, but he accepts it and will continually try to win over things he wants.
Flaws ▼
Aggressive: Gremlin hates... most things, to be honest. He's not thrilled with how pets/animals are treated. He despises how disrespectful humans are to everything around them. Hates noisy cars and smelly trash and living in a city, and he is mean to everyone because of the part they play in that. He is typically more verbally aggressive than physically aggressive (more likely to snap insults than swipe at someone), but that doesn't mean he won't lash out if he thinks he can get away with it. Gremlin sort of has this expectation that everyone and everything will be cruel to him, so he is always, always, always prepared to be cruel first. Other Mauvians are typically exempt.
Self-depreciative: Playing into the 'expecting others to be cruel to him' is Gremlin's own sad, depreciative thoughts. He is ugly and crippled and filthy and mean and worthless. Why shouldn't he expect anyone else to see him as such and act out toward him? He doesn't have the glossy coat of other kitties. He doesn't have the quick wit of a fully realized Mauvian. He can't run very fast, he's not very dignified, no one likes him... No one has ever liked him. Gremlin thinks about this often, and it fuels a lot of his hate and mistrust towards humans, while also spawning an awe-like adoration (bordering on worship) for his betters: other Mauvians.

Mauvians can freely teleport to their Headquarters and back to their starting point without expending any energy. Mauvians may also, once per day, teleport anywhere within a five mile radius. This is an emergency teleportation that does not drain energy and will allow them to teleport in a flurry of stars to their chosen destination. They can only travel to a location they can clearly envision, and they cannot bring guests, and they do not get a return trip--it is one emergency trip somewhere.
Mauvian Claws
While Mauvian claws alone are generally stronger than cat claws, this enhancement gives them a little extra to fight with. All Mauvians who have unlocked this will get a small magical effect that activates when their claws come in contact with a target; the effects can last for ten seconds if the Mauvian is in their natural form or fifteen seconds if the Mauvian is in their humanoid or Senshi form.They cannot use this enhancement if they are in a civilian glamour. This ability activates after every scratch and has no max number of uses per battle. Magic must be sent to the shop mule for approval before it can be used but should typically have a modest effect that lingers, such as the scratched skin feeling frozen, burned, numbed, itchy, etc. The effects should fade after the duration expires unless the player wants to take extended damage from it. Each Mauvian should only have one magical effect; they should not have rotating effects, but a revision may be possible if they need to change effects.
