Viva Viola
Takes place after this!

There was sort of one tiiiiny little drawback to unilaterally deciding he wanted to bring someone into the Negaverse. -No, wait, 'unilaterally' wasn't the right word. Gremlin had called it out, and a whole-a** General King had to come actually do the corruption, so if that wasn't Axinite's blessing over the situation, Diesel didn't know what was. Maybe it was more accurate to say that there was a drawback to specifically not including Nataniel in the decision- And the 'drawback' was that Diesel now had to inform his older brother of a new person he was responsible for. Not ask if it the general was able to take on a new recruit.

Inform. That he would have to take charge of Villon.

Proooobably not a great ask coming from Diesel, who Rakovanite barely tolerated.

But, like- the alternative had just been to 'let an unawakened senshi run around unsupervised,' so this was better than that. Rakovanite couldn't be mad at Diesel over it, and definitely wouldn't give him That Unimpressed Look for showing up at his office with a fresh new Basic in tow. Besides, with Gremlin and Villon backing him up, they basically looked like a team of their own! They could handle it; it was fine.

And yet Diesel was not even slightly surprised when he knocked open the door to Rakovanite's office and Gremlin immediately bolted across the room, vaulted up onto Rakovanite's desk, and began to hiss at him in hushed tone.

Such a ******** A-class teammate this Mauvian was.

Rakovanite didn't make a point of 'hanging out' in Negaspace, as such, his office hardly looked well-used. Dark oak desk, two chairs, mostly-empty shelving on the walls. This wasn't where he wanted to spend copious amounts of what would otherwise be his leisure time, and it was just unfortunate coincidence that he happened to be submitting reports from his office computer when Cervantite -- Diesel -- asked for him. So he'd waited for his little brother to show up, and had been expecting just Cervantite, maybe to turn in his energy quota for the week. That just wasn't what he got.

Gremlin hopped up onto his desk, ears flattened and scraggly whiskers quivering as the Mauvian grumbled out, "Got stuck with a brand new brat after your brother harassed his starseed into responding. Bet you'll be pleased to know he's one of those special needs senshi- too old to be good at anything. Clueless, snarky, a real piece." Kept to himself any notion that he might've been impressed by Villon's combative attitude. Didn't want the general to think he'd made out with a good deal, here.

Rakovanite's dark gaze flicked briefly to the pair in his doorway and then back to the cat. Through the unflattering language, he could piece together the worst of it. A late-blooming senshi that they'd picked up from somewhere.

Narcissus was the only one Rakovanite had any experience with, and he wasn't someone Rakovanite had to personally supervise...

He stood and rounded the edge of his desk to stand in front of it, but did not approach more than that. "You can come in," he invited quietly, voice tinged with a slight Hindi accent as he gestured a hand at the two chairs in front of him. Despite Deisel's fear of A Look, Rakovanite's expression was entirely neutral. He didn't have any information such to even have an opinion on the newcomer, yet. "My name is Rakovanite. I take it you met Cervantite and Gremlin under unfavorable circumstances." Else Gremlin wouldn't have been able to sense that the starseed was a senshi's.

"I hope you were not brought here completely blind and have been told a least your name and sphere? Your purpose?"

Diesel let out a hiss of sound between his teeth as he rolled his eyes. His arm looped through one of Villon's as he stepped more fully into the office, tugging the other man with him. "Dude, c'mon, of course we did that much. I'm not an idiot. We just need, like, the tablet and stuff, username for the database, y'know. The Starter Kit. Geeze, you could be any less condescending."
