Orenda and Saren
arrow Personality
Orenda is a typical hyena female in that she can be summed up with a mere handful of words; dominant, fierce, brutish and impatient. She is a hyena who knows what she wants and is not afraid to get it. Overbearing, rude and callous, she likes to assert her authority with everyone she meets. A submissive girl, this one is not!! Other female hyenas will have to earn her respect. To earn her respect is relatively easy if you have a similar temperament. She respects brute strength and any female that stands up to her and matches her in a fight is clearly someone she can spend time with. Those who do earn her respect will have a loyal companion who can be talked into doing anything - even if it is utterly crazy.
Males - so long as they are submissive - will be fine. She'll push them around a bit and taunt them, but she'll generally accept their presence and even indulge them in some conversation if she 'has the time'.
Certain things will send her into a fury, one of those being dominant males amongst her own kin. She will literally flip if any male tries to get the better of her and will attack almost instantly. The same can go for other species. She does not like felines by any means, but if they are respectful and generally keep their distance, she'll pace them by without much thought.
Scheming, conniving and always out to cause trouble, Orenda is a renegade who loves to stir trouble amongst rogues she passes by. She's even been known to harass prides at the borders, though the last time she tried it didn't go down to well.
Nowadays she is seen partnered with her jackal companion, Saren. Around the hyena he is submissive and loyal and takes much pleasure in aiding her in her crimes in the rogue lands. However, whilst he seems to be an obedient servant, he is clearly using her for his own means. Having Orenda around means that no harm can come to him and this jackal does have his fair share of enemies.
A nasty piece of work, Saren would easily shift his loyalties to the winning side and would not hesitate in dropping his 'friends' to ensure that he survives. Survival is his goal and nothing is going to get in the way of that.
arrow Current Situation:
Out in rogue lands, looking to cause trouble wherever they go.
arrow What I want:
- Flings for Saren
- Maybeeee a fling for Orenda in the future. Not right now, but perhaps someone in a pack who takes her interest and she returns in the future to join and chooses him to mate with? Or...I dunno. Another plot of some sort involving this?
- Fights / confrontations / injuries with rogues (any species)
- Trouble making that is both successful and unsuccessful
- A pack for Orenda to join. The pack would have to put up with a jackal tagging along.
- Other plotssss?
arrow What I don't want:
- Life-mates
- Fluffy, cutesy RP
- Death (though injury is fine)
Netravati
arrow Personality:
A member of the Kitwana'antara and daughter of the goddess Amaret, this little seer is currently healthy and immune to sickness (though I'm told her health might change later on in life). Netravati is an exceptionally gifted seer, although those who receive her visions do not always get the truth. She enjoys twisting details - not out of any cruel or bad intentions, but just to make things more fun! - she loves stories, so why give others a boring story when her imagination can excite it up a little?
A little odd, she often talks in monologue and can be rather unpredictable and spontaneous. With a tendancy to creep others out she can often seem alone, though she is actually quite an excitable and kooky little creature.
arrow Current situation:
Located in Kitwana'antara. She may stray later on in life, but whilst she's a baby, she's sticking in the lands.
arrow What I want:
- RP with her family in the pride
- Meeting other members of the pride (particularly those her own age)
- Receiving visions / storytelling RP
arrow What I DON'T want:
- Leaving or being forcefully taken from the pride
- Being hurt / killed
Khet
arrow Personality:
Khet is a large lion, due to his Firekin ancestry, but very much a gentle giant. Kind, respectful and very mindful of his manners, he is a rather easy-going and laid back sort of fellow. However, his moral compass is extremely overbearing at times. He knows right from wrong, but he sees the world in black and white. Those grey areas just do not compute in his mind and will not stand for any bad behaviour, even if the bad behaviour is more mischief making than actual cruelty. Whilst he is slow to anger, once he reaches a state of rage, he also finds it extremely hard to come down from it and can often lose control. Once the moment has passed, he'll feel awfully guilty and once people learns his anger triggers, they will probably become less frequent if people avoid them.
arrow Current situation:
He lives in the Tuiat'tekam and will probably not be leaving it. However, offer me a good enough plot and I could be tempted.
arrow What I want:
- RP with family
- RP within the pride
- A cub romance/crush type thing?
- Some pride members to tell off if he sees them doing something Khet considers wrong.
arrow What I DON'T want:
- Death
Jahina (and Ngeu)
arrow Personality:
Jahina and her vulture Ngeu are a fun-loving duo. Never sad or depressed, this pair love to cheer others up with playful antics and are often heard planning new tricks to play on their friends and fellow pride members. Both adore cubs and love to join in with fun and games.
arrow Current Situation:
Settled in the Aka'mleli and will not be leaving.
arrow What I want:
- People for them to play pranks on
- For her to get in trouble through mischief making
- RP with cubs
- General pride RP
- (for Ngeu) a mate/fling
arrow What I DON'T want:
- Mate offers for Jahina (something in the works for this girl)

Altair makes a decision to briefly leave his homelands to go in search of his brother once and for all. Unbeknownst to him, his daughter follows secretly behind, curious about her father's secret past. He meets his brother out in the rogue lands and there is a stand off that leads to a fight. But, before either one can deal a fatal blow, they are interrupted by a pleading Alienor and Nyota. Can peace be forged after so much time of hate and lust for vengeance?
Suijin, Aryiola, Aysu and Horowai || Rogue Lands || 10%
With the aid of seer Aryiola, Suijin discovers that Horowai intends to steal back her daughter from him. With this information and the help of his companions, he takes Horowai by surprise and makes her his slave. Meanwhile, Aryiola is hoping to get pregnant with Suijin's cubs and help him with deciphering his complicated but exciting future. Aysu continues her blind devotion of Suijin and refuses to help her mother, scorning Horowai for being so cruel to such a great lion.
Jini'pomoka, Tope, Uddhava and Ruia || Rogue Lands / Kusini'mwezi || 5%
Ruia asks his parents whether he can go travelling for a while with a friend he met out in the rogue lands. The pair reluctantly agree, but startle when they realsie this friend lives in the desert. They go with Ruia to meet this lion and realise, much to their horror, that the lion is the son of the Firekin they killed so long ago. Terrified that they might be recognised, Jini'pomoka goes into shock, brought round only by the realisation that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Ruia is confused by his parents behaviour and asks Uddhava about it. The gold lion convinces Ruia to ask them and eventually the male lion returns with his friend and demands to know what it is that don't like about Uddhava. Jini'pomoka, who is in a bad way, screams out the truth...
Laka and Takuma || Ela'wadiyi/Rogue Lands || 50%
After their first adventure, the two part on good terms and promise to meet up again soon. Time passes and Laka realises how much she enjoyed Takuma's company. Thus when he returns, the two spend a couple of days away together and romance buds. They return to the Ela'wadiyi lands and Laka seeks the approval of her parents before officially becoming mate to Takuma. The two settle into Shadow Clan but often take time out to go adventuring.
Charon and Imarika || Mwezi'johari || 10%
Charon and Imarika's friendship grows the more time they spend together, and as Charon realises he has come to love the young female, he is torn between his love for her and the duty he feels to his mother. As his mother's carer, he decides to foresake his own life to be by her side. However, with encouragement and understanding, Imarika convinces him that he cannot live his life like that. So, Charon relents and decides to be with her, much to his mother's displeasure...
