Background / Personality:
Ardia is a loving mother, and a great-great grandmother. She has a nuturing personality, and wishes the best for all her children. She is lifemated to Sheridan, and their family line is now very large. She is quite a calm mare, and will happily dispense advice to those who ask it. Ardia likes to help expectant mothers through that sometimes difficult time, as she remembers what it was like to be pregnant for the first time.
Ardia and Sheridan's relationship was whirlwind at first, they fell for each other very fast and Ardia found herself pregnant fairly soon with her first three foals. They grew into strong adults, and Ardia became settled as mate and mother.
After the birth of their second children (four), there became a distance between Sheridan and Ardia and she hasn't seem him for some time. Because of this Ardia is feeling a little bereft, and is trying to hide her own relationship troubles by becoming more involved in the lives of all her children, grand-children etc
Ardia tried to be helpful as much as possible, despite certain insecurities that she has been pushed aside for a younger model!
Eventually she resigned herself to the fact that stallions were prone to wandering, and he would come home to her when he was ready to. She took on the mantle of Elder of her family herd, and she is a steady presence should any of her large and extended family need her for anything.
Familiar
Nianus is Ardia's closest friend, a loyal companion when she isn't off on her own agenda! Ardia saved her from a hunters trap, and every since the vixen has hung around with the mare.
Nianus is a bright fox, doesn't have the usual smart mouth of her species and tends to be nice unless you rouse her. She's alot like Ardia in that respect.

Background / Personality:
Meena is one of Ardia's eldest daughters, but she didn't have the luck of Kitara, her sister, in relationships. She can be very cheerful, likes to joke around and tease but for a while she was in a bit of a funk because she thought she'd found somebody she liked but they haven't seen each other for ages.
For along time Meena wanted to be like her mother very much, she had in her mind that she should find the perfect stallion, settle down with him and be the contented mother, and eventually she found her mate, a lovely stallion called Auguste.
She hopes once day to add to their large family and make her mother a Granny (again!).

Background / Personality:
Adrienne is a cheerful mare, likes to joke around and chat with other Soquilis. She likes to travel, nearly always on the move except when she is visiting with her mother Ardia, and her closest sister Meena.
Adrienne loves that she is part of such a large family, and was happy that she seemed to have found a mate and added to it with her own brood of three lovely children. She enjoyed being a mother, but thinks that her foals grew up way too fast, and is thinking that she is too young to be a grandmother, though she knows she would never stop them from being parents if they wished to.
Her mate has long since gone, and now she hopes to find another to spend her days and grow old with.

Background / Personality:
Hetienne is one of three girls, born out of a fling mating between Sunari and Agamemnon. Unfortunately, Heti has never really known her mother as Sunari was not entirely overjoyed about becoming a mother, and has never been very maternal. She therefore dropped the baskets off with her own mother, Hetienne's grandmother Adrienne as soon as she was able, and skipped off to do her own thing once again.
Despite this, Hetienne was a happy filly, and grew into a kind and caring mare, always worried about the feelings of others, very aware that what you do can impact enormously, especially if you are beholden to another.
She will suffer from slight abandonment issues; although she loves her 'nana', she will always be looking for her mother, and won't stop wondering why it was that Sunari chose to have children if she didn't want to be in their lives.
Because of this, when she comes to having children of her own, she will likely smother them slightly, and try to overcompensate, wanting to be in their life a bit too much.

Background / Personality:
Evelyn is a little accident prone, she could easily trip over the one rock in an open field, but it tends to do so because she gets absorbed in her work. She is fascinated by the history of the different Soquili breeds and of the native people, and spends her days looking for evidence of the history and of those that came before, searching for ruins and relics. She has a collection of interesting items that she's found and eagerly talks about them to anyone that will listen.
She has yet to find anything that links to the rarer or more dangerous breeds and would like to go on an expedition to the Indian Burial Ground, however she is unsure as to whether it would be wise as she has heard stories about that being the origin place for Purewalkers as the Demon Tree is meant to be there. There is a lot about Soquili history that she still needs to learn and she is unsure whether she actually believes some of it, because she thinks that some stories might have been made up by the individual breeds to make them more mysterious or fearsome.
When she isn't out and about, she spends time with her family. She's especially close to her grand-niece Hetienne as they are closest in age, but she enjoys spending time with all of her family, and like her sisters, she wants the kind of relationship that Ardia & Sheridan have, and she hopes to find someone who would love to go on adventures with her.
