Adrienne heard her mother whicker softly, nudging her and her sister Meena who was also visiting. She turned, catching sight of a large stallion and turned back to the females, rolling her eyes at Ardia.
'I know what you're thinking, I'm not sure I'm in the mood for this mother, can't we just have our day together?'
Ardia shook her greying mane and snorted;
'You can't live alone, I know your heart, and disposition.' she pursed her lips at Adrienne's expression and pushed her with her head.
'I'm not saying jump on him, but at least go say hello. Will do you good.'
Adrienne looked to her sister for help, but she had her 'I agree' face on, and there would be no assistance there.
'Fine. I'll go say hello.' if she'd had hands she would have thrown them up in defeat, instead she moved across the grass, her face set in a suitably open and friendly expression.
