 * Duncan walks though the meadow watching the sky as the sun starts to set he smirks at he walks he looks around glade that it was getting dark he loved it more then he liked the light, his thoughts on his day he spent by the lake wondering why most of the soquili stayed near the village and the two leggers*

Ardia flicked the gentle curls of her tail, inhaling the cool evening air as she grazed on the grass of the meadow. She had come back from the mountains for a while, come to visit her children before she would leave again to be by Sheridan's side.
Unfortunately she had not been able to track any of her seven children down, and so she stood quietly outside the Village, watching movements around the main fire, and enjoying the sunset.
She caught the stallion's scent before she actually saw him and she gave a soft whickering noise in greeting.

* hearing a soft whicker he looks around for the sorce of the sound seeing a brown mare he nickers back and heads towards her slowly she looked like she was friendly and he always liked to make new friends if he could help it, as he got closer to her he smiles* " hello there miss I'm duncan, it's a nice evening."

Ardia smiled inwardly and tilted her head in a graceful greeting towards the stallion.
'Hello Duncan,' the mare always spoke softly, her voice pleasing and gentle to the ears.
'Miss..well I appreciate the sentiment, but I would say I am much older then you, mother and grandmother here.' she chuckled.
'I am Ardia, and yes, it is a lovely evening. Are you out here for a particular reason or just enjoying the air?'

* he looks up at the setting sun then back at her* " wow you are lucky to have such a big family, pleased to meet you Ardia, I came here to enjoy myself and of course hopyfully meet someone else since I'm still quite new around here, I'm glade that this place doesn't have many skinwalkers it is safer at night then it is back home."

Ardia smiled politely at the out-pouring of words.
'I am blessed yes, with my mate, and my family.' she paused, giving a little nod before questioning Duncan.
'Do you have family of your own?'
Her nose wrinkled a little at the unfamiliar expression.
'A Skinwalker, what is that?'

* he smiles again watching her closely, he loved others talking about their family he looks at face when she asked him about his family* " yes, I don't have a mate, or childern but I have my older sisters here they are very nice, I have thought of starting a family here but I really haven't met anyone that i would like to be with, I have a couple of friends and a couple of mares that hold my intrest." * he watched her face* " well skinwalkers are kind of like us my tribe believed that they were protecters, they have as the two leggers say, 'a curse ' that makes them turn into wolves or coylote they keep to themselves, and live deep in the woods, some legends say that they are evil I don't buy that, they just like to keep to themselves, you can tell them apart becuase they were furs or skins on their bodys."

Ardia listened as Duncan talked on. She had a slightly impish thought..but no, her daughter would most likely kill her if she thought that her mother was trying to play matchmaker.
'Oh, playing with some females hearts huh?' Ardia chuckled.
'Well, I guess you are fairly young to have properly settled down, I hope that you find someone to light your life soon.'
Ardia frowned a little.
'It is the first time I have heard of such a race, I only know of Kalona's, I have met one and know that they can be very evil.'
She shook her head;
'But being able to transform themselves into another creature? And I wonder, if you dont believe them to be evil, why are you glad that there arent many around?'

* duncan nods at bit* " maybe." * he watched her frown and blinks* "really I haven't met any Kalonas my sister has warned me about them, because it's kind of wired in the tribe where I grew up they were our protecters they fight off other sallions that would try to take over, we were allowed to vist with them, but their changing in another form kind of scared us, also they would get mad and hurt us, that is why i'm kind of glade that they aren't around here, I still carrie a scar on my back from being attacked by one because we both liked the same girl."

'I dont like to cast prejudices on any Soquili, but I know Kalona are not to be trusted.' Ardia's ears flattened a little as she recalled an old memory.
'There is a Kalona mare that I know of, she tried to steal away one of my first children.'
Ardia glanced at Duncan's back when he spoke of the scar and then looked at his face again.
'Well, fighting over a female isnt something restricted to the skinwalkers you speak of, everyone can fall foul of the effect of too many hormones.' she smiled faintly.
'But I dont know of any of them nearby and I have been in this area for over a year now.'

* duncan looks at her and smiles again* " wow you have been here that long, that is weired, why would she want to steal a baby from you, even if they were evil that doesn't make since to me, I try not to fight over females anymore all it does is get me hurt, would you like to show me around you might know of places that I don't."

She nodded;
'Yes it feels like I have been here a great deal of time.' she shrugged at his question about Izusa.
'She is not to be trusted in any way, and her mental state is dangerous. Who can tell why she does what she does?' Ardia shook at the waves of her mane.
'I think you might know the overall lay of the land better than I would, I'm not the most adventurous of mares, and I tend to travel between the Village and the mountains mostly.'

'In passing yes, see the Lake whenever we travel to the mountains,' Ardia nodded. She blinked a little, swishing her tail gently.
'The Village of people was around before I even arrived in this area, how did you not know it was here?'
She thought that everyone must at least know of the existence of the two-legged ones homestead, after all she figured that they must have been around a long time.
