Since Ming'we is talkative it is also assumed that she is slightly hyper. A social butterfly. She enjoys the company of others and will carry on a conversation with just about anyone. It is also rumored that she would talk to a tree if left alone too long in silence. There are times when others will become less than thrilled with her speaking so much and while she does notice it, Ming'we can't help that she loves to talk to others. Along with her chatty nature she seems to also be affectionate. Ming'we will hug anyone just to help brighten their day and see them smile, though it doesn't always work. There are few she will even kiss on the cheek to show her love to. And hand in hand with her loving nature is her trust. Ming'we easily trusts others, always wanting to see the good in those around her rather than the bad. Even when others seem to judge her for her mix heritage.

It is also due to these traits that she is gullible, easily tricked by others into believing certain things or even doing things that would seem against better judgement. When others view her too harshly she refuses to hold them accountable, blaming it instead on the common thoughts about mix breeds. Since she gets close to others so fast she often times suffers from disappointment when her feelings are hurt or her heart is broken. When this happens she will do her best to keep up appearances that everything is alright. Ming'we doesn't want to make others uncomfortable. While she will forgive a person she will never forget. She believes in the three strikes and you're out. After the three times of hurting her, she will generally avoid the person. And while she is talkative it is easy for her to say the wrong things or for others to get information from her.

Due to her mixed race, Ming'we doesn't seem to have any contempt for others, not even the Oban. She feels that it is not up to her to judge others since she does not wish to be judged for what she is. In her eyes it is more about what lies beneath ones skin that makes them who they are. This can often times receive some back lash from others, such as those that believe she should be one race or the other and follow their customs, but she has yet to change her mind.

Around her twin brother she is an absolute giddy little sister. She will giggle and hang on him in an annoying manner. There are times where she may even do things to irritate her sibling just for the fun of it, though she would in no way fully anger him. Ming'we is also quick to defend her brother both from verbal and physical attacks. She is protective of him. When it comes to other females near her twin she isn't very accepting. There are times where she gets jealous and will cause issues. If her brother shows an active interest in the female and she acts out it can sometimes lead to an argument between the two, resulting in a few days of them not talking.

She acts similarly with her close friend Callum and often times sees him as a second brother. Though she does set some limitations for him. One example is she won't constantly hang all over him as she does her twin, more out of respect for his personal space, and she does not seem to get jealous as easily when females take interest in him. However, when she does get jealous she will usually do everything she can to keep the female away. This of course can have the same result of them not speaking to one another.

Due to the fact that she has a brother and a male friend she tends to get along better with males. This does not mean she views them in any romantic light. If or when a male shows interest in her in such a manner, Ming'we usually ignores it unless they bring it to her direct attention. Once that happens she will politely tell them that she sees them only as a friend. She does, however, seem to find males more attractive than females.

Ming'we has aspirations to become a sniper. This came about when she over heard a conversation about a local who had made the choice to become such. The stories surrounding them seemed to inspire her to do the same and from then on she practiced her accuracy. Of course she was not allowed to actually have a crossbow when she was little, so she had to make do with a sling shot. This of course goes against her mother's wishes for her to follow Alkidike tradition. However, Ming'we has expressed that she wishes to follow a path that would have been available to her second mother. Not only to help the Alkidike to understand but also to give some validation to her choice. And it isn't a lie. While the main reason for her choice was due to a childhood experience, losing her mother has made her feel as though she is being pulled away from that part of herself. Other Alkidikes seem to disapprove, but her warrior mother has relented somewhat about her choice. Ming'we knows that she will have to leave home when the time comes for her to follow the path she has chosen and while she dreads leaving her family and friends it is something she must do.

                  Description
xxxxxHer hair is a light blonde color and cut short with the bangs swept to one side and slightly longer than the rest. She sports the traditional Alkidike antennae, skin tone, and pure eye color. However, Ming'we's eyes are a gorgeous dark blue. She's a bit on the curvy side, almost borderline chubby. She has the markings of an Alkidike, that seem to swirl at her womanly assets such as her hips, thighs, and chest, but have also left almost crescent moon like patterns on her cheek and band like strips on her wrists. In addition to those markings she also has the crystals of her wind heritage and they seem to be in small clusters that resemble a twinkling star on her forehead, her abdomen, and her thigh. Due to the blending of the two races she stands at a middle height of five feet and ten inches and weights roughly one hundred and thirty-four pounds.
                  Clothing
xxxxxMing'we wears a skirt that seems to have opens sides stitched together loosely and is held in place by a braided chord, decorated with precious stones, and a wrap shirt that only covers her chest and is tied in the front. Her top is a soft blue and her skirt is a light doeskin brown. On her feet she wears a pair of wrap sandals.
                  Accessories
xxxxxMing'we enjoys wearing two sets of hoop earrings, the bottom pair larger than the second. And a belly chain that sports three feathers on it's end.

                  Adolescence
xxxxxMing'we and Minga were born to two mothers, an Alkidike and a Wind woman. They met when the Alkidike decided to travel and ended up in Sauti and fell in love over further meetings. Ming'we and Minga were born when their parents were older, like stage three, and brought back to Sauti due to racial hostility in Jauhar. The two were inseparable as younglings, always found together playing or causing trouble. In Sauti is where they met Callum, his father, and step-mother and he quickly became part of the now trio. So, the three of them grew up together until Ming'we and Minga lost their Wind mother to a disease. Whooping cough had settled in her chest quickly then took her from her family. After grieving for a time their Alkidike mother moved them back to Jauhar to live in her mother's house. It was here that they met Nyah as they were introduced to the village.

The move from Sauti was hard to take. Not only had it come on the heels of her mother's death, but it was taking her away from her friends. People she had grown with and gotten past their prejudice upbringing would be left behind and she would have to start from scratch. While Ming'we wasn't against meeting new people she knew she was going to be alienated. Not only was she part Alkidike but she was part Wind Earthling and people weren't sure how to deal with the crossing of the amazon race.

When they finally made it across Tale and into Jauhar she noticed that her mother seemed to relax a little. How long had she been away from her home? Ming'we couldn't even begin to guess. While she knew her mother had had to cross over the deep waters to reach the Chibale Islands to ask Aisha for her blessing, she wasn't sure if her mother had been within the forests or out on the plains before that. It wasn't something either of her mothers had spoken about. A shame really, since she had asked all kinds of questions when she was younger.

While the forest around them was amazing, she couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated. This was the home of the Alkidikes, the Amazon warriors, and she was only half of what they were. Would that be held against her? Would they truly give her trouble because her mother had chosen to fall in love with an earthling? Ming'we certainly hoped not but she wasn't going to hold her breath. In fact, giving a sigh, she wondered just how well her grandmother would receive her. All that was left of her family was her mother's Alkidike side and her twin brother who was also a hybrid like her. She wouldn't have to wait long to find out since her mother got them there in record time.

As she watched her mother enter the house she stood there on the porch. Could she really just walk in and expect it to be her home? Ming'we stood, frozen in place, and stared. Was she expecting something to happen? Possibly. Maybe she wanted a warm welcome from the grandmother that never seemed to have come and visit her. Or maybe it would be that her grandmother would tell her to stay out of her house. With no one coming out to say anything to her she was going to have to enter to figure out just what kind of greeting would be waiting. And so, one foot in front of the other, Ming'we stepped over the threshold of the house and made her way in to see her mother's mother.

Her thoughts turned inward as she sat in the room she shared with her mother. Since her grandmother's house was only large enough for three rooms her brother got his own, her grandmother kept hers, and her mother bunked with her. Ming'we tuned out the familiar noises of the house. The voices of the two female Alkidikes as they spoke about things ranging from the past to the present, and her brother's movements as he went about the house boredly. She likely would have joined him if she didn't have something to think about. The event in the marketplace. Truly it was bothering to her. Had the rumors caused so much turmoil within people's thoughts that they couldn't trust a bit of fun being had with anyone that held a resemblance to the Alkidikes? If it was so bad a thing then why did they stay in the forests that were home to the Amazon race? With a sigh she shifted and let her body lean back on the bed, going from a siting position on the bed to laying down.

Staring up at the ceiling she did her best to recall everything that had happened. Was there some mistake she had made in dancing with the shifter boy? He was her age and they hadn't done anything inappropriate. No, it hadn't been anything on her part. It was the dissent that the rumors caused. Alkidikes were becoming radicals and attacking the shifters, wanting to claim their forests back from the earthlings. Sometimes she wondered if that was how her grandmother thought. Or even her mother, since she had moved them back to Jauhar so soon after their other mother's death. Did she now hate earthlings? If so then what would that mean for her and her brother? Tears welled up in her dark blue eyes and she did her best to blink them away, stop them from falling, but it was useless. They overflowed and streaked down her cheekbones to meet her ears. “Oh mother, why did you have to leave?” Her words were thick and whispered to keep her voice from breaking. “I think Moma blames earthlings for your death.” It wouldn't be too far fetched if it were true.

Everyone had taken the death harshly. Especially their mother. Ming'we rolled to her side and curled her body a bit, giving a wince as she felt the soreness in her muscles, and rested her head on her arm. With her free hand she picked at the sheets on the bed and tried to calm herself down. Bursting into tears now would do no good in the long run. Still she wanted to cry. The wound was too fresh not to. Her hand gripped the sheet and she closed her eyes tightly. There had to be something else to think of.

And there was. The Alkidike from earlier. She had carried Ming'we home after what had happened. Not only that but Ming had even been so bold as to kiss the girl. Thinking back on it now she could feel her cheeks turning red. What had she been thinking? Was she thinking? Probably not. The girl had been messing with her lip ring and it just looked so enticing to Ming'we that she had to try it. Of course she supposed she could have touched the metal with her fingers instead. Cracking a half smile she'd recall the way the Alkidike seemed to react. While she had said there was someone else she liked the girl hadn't reacted in a manner that said she was taken.

That was encouraging. Wasn't it? Now if only Ming'we could see her again and get to know more about her. That would be fun. Though she wasn't sure where the strange Alkidike was from or where it was she was going. Since Ming was new to the area she would need to pay more attention to her surroundings and learn. Maybe if she described the girl's markings she could figure out where to find her. Asking her grandmother would be a good start since she had lived in the area all her life. Resolved to find out more she sat up and wiped the remaining tears from her eyes since it wouldn't do to have them there when she approached her matron.

Satisfied that her face was cleared of the evidence she got to her feet and headed to the door. One of her antennae twitched as she listened, knowing just where to find the elderly Alkidike in the house. Ming'we gave a faint smile as she opened the door and headed for the front room where her grandmother and mother sat discussing things. Before she reached the room, however, she heard them talking about the recent activity of the warrior race. Her grandmother didn't seem to be enthusiastic about the idea of beating on shifters, as she claimed to have some shifter friends, which surprised Ming'we, but nor did she seem to disagree with the general idea of taking back their lands. Her mother on the other hand snorted in response and went on to speak of the earthlings she had become friends with in their time in Sauti. It made Ming happy to know that her mother hadn't turned sour in the face of her partner's death.

Knowing she would be caught eavesdropping sooner or later she cleared her throat and entered the room cautiously. “Gran? Do you know everyone that lives near here?” Her dark blue eyes didn't quite meet the elder's but she at least looked at the woman. Silence met her for some time but eventually she received a nod of the head and that made Ming'we brighten up a bit more. “Then can you tell me if you know an Alkidike with markings that streak under her left eye?” She was sure that the matron of the family would need more than that to go off but she wanted to know if there were any in the area that even had anything under the eye as she had described. So as the woman thought about it Ming'we waited...
