Ming'we had thought about what Ilyra had told her. She was still in awe that there was a blind sister that could make weapons in such a way. So since she had more free time on her hands she decided to find her friend and see if she could show her to her aunt. The blonde couldn't help that she wanted to see it for herself. Not that she didn't believe Ilyra, but more that she wanted to witness it herself. With the training bow in hand, and a few arrows that she'd managed to make, Ming was headed toward the town that the alkidike had said she lived.

She had caught sight of an alkidike in the forest and was trying to appear non-threatening. Ming'we wasn't sure if this was one that would attack her for being a hybrid or not. Her hand gripped the bow a bit tighter when she heard them call out to her. Ming paused and looked at her, trying to think of what to say. However, as her name was said she blinked and then slowly nodded her head. "Yes. Do I know you?" Was this perhaps a friend of her mothers? Maybe her mother had talked about her enough that she was easily recognizable? She hoped it was something like that. Ming'we wasn't sure what she would do if this Alkidike turned hostile.

So this was Ilyra's mother! Ming'we smiled at her. Able to relax a little now she gave a sigh. "I'm Ming'we, which you already figured out." The blonde gave a short laugh as she reached back and rubbed the back of her neck. When Briella told her that Ilyra wasn't home she had to tilt her head. The white haired Alkidike wouldn't have gone out questing for the crossbow items on her own would she? The thought made Ming worry a little. "Oh, uhm.. Well I did come to ask her a question." Though now that the person she was looking for was absent she wondered if she should just turn around and go home.

The offer to wait for Ilyra was met with a smile. Ming'we didn't think many people would allow her to do such a thing given she was a hybrid. Then the woman suggested that she may be able to help. It made sense but the idea also made the blonde feel a bit awkward. "I was going to ask Ilyra if I could meet her aunt and possibly even watch her make weapons." With the way her friend had described the process, Ming was certain she would be in awe of how her aunt worked.

She smiled, so there was no one home. It didn't bother Ming'we so much, though she was a little disappointed to not be able to meet the woman she'd heard so much about. Even now, her friend's mother was bragging. "Well it seems I am not lucky today. Maybe I can check back some other time." Not that she knew when Ilyra or even her aunt would be back. Ming wondered if she might ask Briella but felt it to be somewhat intrusive on her part.

A few hours. Ming'we wasn't sure if she could spare the time to wait. She had only told her Gran that she would be gone for a few hours herself. The blonde hybrid shook her head slightly and smiled. "I couldn't intrude, but thank you." She was about to give her reasons for declining when her hair was suddenly toyed with. Ming blinked her eyes a few times before she noticed Amadi. It made her chuckle. Thankfully this wasn't the only sprite she'd seen or had toy with her. ((Assuming Amadi is a sprite. D: ))

"He's cute." Ming'we smiled and gave a gentle wave, careful to keep her hand well away from the familiar in case she accidentally smack him.

Ming had been about to nod her head when the sprite decided that he had liked her compliment. She blinked a few times then chuckled. She even tilted her head just a little so that she could return the affection but not harm him. "He's loving too." So many people had familiars and she wondered if maybe she should work to obtain one. Maybe she wouldn't be so lonely then.

"I'll remember to come later in the day next time." Ming'we would make the trip again. She wanted to see Ilyra. The light colored Alkidike was a friend that she wanted to keep in touch with.
