Sitting where she was Ming'we could see the small herd of Aldabuk grazing. It was so tempting to chase them and have a good laugh. It would give her something positive to remember in this time. Slowly a grin spread across her lips and she gets to her feet. Since she had no intention of actually harming any of the animals she left her crossbow on the ground and stood. Brushing the dirt from her bottom she eyed the herd. They noticed her and had paused in their grazing. A few were eyeing her warily. With god reason too! In another moment she pushed off and went right into a full run at them, her hands in the air as she yelled and laughed.

The herd scattered, bounding and running away from the crazed hybrid. The younger ones were protected by the bucks and when she got too close a few of them seemed to stand their ground. Ming noticed the mistake right away and did her best to go around them. It didn't take long for one or two of them to follow after her, their horns pointed at her in defense of their young. The blonde gave a squeal, mixed with a bit of laughter, and tried to run faster.

She wouldn't get away unscathed! One buck closed in and rammed his horns into her back side, causing a rather sharp cry to leave her. Despite this Ming'we was still having fun. She had managed to irritate an otherwise indifferent herd and provoked the males. Moving to the side she tried to avoid the next attack that was coming her way. While she did evade the horns she caught a full on headbutt to the hip and it pushed her over.

In a flurry of long limbs and antennae she fell to the ground and rolled. She was still laughing even as her skin gained a few scrapes. Ming would always remember this moment in time. The day she decided to take on a herd without any weapons just for fun! When she heard hooves coming her way she shifted and craned her neck to see what was going on. Her eyes went wide as she noticed a buck coming at her in a full charge. Her laughter died mid throat and she rolled so that she could get to her hands and knees. Really she wanted to get to her feet but she wasn't fast enough. Not this time.

The collision was head on and it hurt. Ming'we was thrown a few feet and ended up holding her ribs. Luckily the horns had missed her. With her having been lifted up off the ground just a little bit she escaped being impaled. That was certainly something she wouldn't forget. These Aldabuk were mean little things when they wanted to be! That was two so far that didn't like her version of play!

When she noticed that a third was coming to join in on the hurt she groaned. Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all. Thankfully, this one was a dame. So she wouldn't be as aggressive as her male counter parts, but she still had those damned horns of hers. Ming climbed to her feet and poked at her ribs to see if they were broken. She didn't think so but they would bruise, that was for sure. Now, bracing herself for the charge of the female Aldabuk the blonde hybrid licked her lips in anticipation.

Why she felt the need to stand her ground was beyond her! But when the dame was close enough Ming'we haled her hands out and soon had a hold of those dangerous horns. The force that had been built up in the female's run was enough to push Ming back but she leaned into the beast. Until finally her feet dug into the ground. Feeling encouraged by this she forced the Aldabuk to the side and eventually flipped her onto her side. A small victory when one thought about it, but still! Ming'we grinned and started to laugh again. Leaning back slightly she'd hoot into the air, spooking any creature near her.

The loudness of her call was like a threat to a nearby buck and he kicked at the ground. Ming'we leveled her gaze at him and braced herself just as she had before. Sadly, this was no dame. The buck had a well built muscular body. It dawned on her that this might well be the herd leader. It was too late to reconsider her stance since in the next moment she was thrown to the ground and partially trampled over. It hurt seeing as the hooves of the Aldabuk were sharp little things. When it was over though the buck pranced off rather proud of himself. So that was how it was going to be?

Ming'we spat dirt out of her mouth as she forced her body to obey her and get back up on her feet. One hand came up and wiped her cheek but only managed to spread the dirt around. With a determined look Ming zeroed in on a dame and gave it the "I'm watching you" hand motion. Not that she really expected the animal to understand. As it's tail twitched the blonde readied herself to start running. Then without warning she took off yet again. This time she gave a kind of war cry. It scared most away but it startled the one she was intent on. Frozen in place the dam didn't know what hit her!

Ming did! In a full on tackle the hybrid had wrapped her arms around the beasts neck and took her down to the ground. It was there that they wrestled around for control. After a few seconds of a hard fight there was merry laughter from the blonde. She might be dirty as all what have you but she was enjoying herself immensely. Who knew, she might even decide to try and tame one of the beasts. But for now she just wanted to get out of this little scuffle unscathed.

The small sparring match between her and the female Aldabuk was starting to draw the attention of the rest of the herd now that they were no longer afraid of her war cry. Some had even moved in for a closer look. When the dame let out a strange cry Ming'we looked at it oddly. She knew she wasn't really hurting it, only restraining it. But it was this opening that the beast needed to flail limbs and turn the tides. Soon enough they were both on their feet and while Ming was trying desperately to keep hold, with the intent of maybe gaining herself a familiar, there was just no stopping the wild animal from slipped loose. Once the female was out of her grasp Ming'we lost her balance and fell backwards onto her butt with an Omphf. As she sat there a very curious calf came over to sniff at her and wiggle it's tail. For a moment she felt a little insulted but then she just shook her head and chuckled. This sparked a bit of mischief in the young buck and he started to prance away with glee. Apparently now that one of the females had one up'ed her she was not a threat at all. This made her laugh even more and she flung her arms out to the side before laying back to gain her breath. What a day.
