It had been a few days since she'd left Isolder near the Oban border. It was her hatred that was causing a hole to form between them. Ming'we couldn't let go of the prejudice she had toward half of herself; toward the Alks. Now she was on her way back home to Sauti. Since there was no real reason for her to travel to Matori, that tropical land, then she wanted to get back to the rocky terrain she was most comfortable in. The blonde had no place with anyone else or anyplace else really. Ming had forsaken her amazon heritage and that had distanced her from her family, even her twin brother Minga. Now all she had of herself was the home she'd known before her life fell apart.

It was a rare day that he could travel on his own. Mostly he was going to a nearby town to pick up a few things while his traveling companions were busy at camp. Huyana had thought about staying at Inns but it would cost money and his objective was to save as much of that as he could. So instead they had lavish camps to languish in. Now, he had the pleasure of coming across a young woman that looked as though she were angry at the world. That simply wouldn't do. So Huy took it upon himself to engage her. "Hey there, Beautiful." Not the best line to start out with but seeing that this one was half, or at least part, Amazon, he didn't want to lay it on too thick.

Her antennae gave a twitch, reminding her yet again of her filthy heritage, when she heard the sound of someone's voice. Ming'we turned her head to look at who it was and arched a brow at them. "Were you speaking to me?" The blonde asked casually. Of course there was no one else around but she wanted to make sure before she took any offence or anything to what was said. Looking the man over she noticed that he was shirtless. Gloriously so. He had muscles and crystals. Pulling her gaze away from his chest she waited for him to reply.

At least he'd gotten her attention. "Of course I am. There is no one else around." As he spoke Huy spread one arm out to show that the two of them were well and quite alone on the road. "And I have a thing for exotic beauties." To him she was exotic simply for being from somewhere else. But there was something about her mixed looks that made her even more appealing. "Do you have a name beautiful?" At the very least he'd like to know what to call her.

She was less than thrilled at the flattery so she made a slight frown with her lips. Ming'we debated for a moment on whether or not she wanted this Ice Tribesman knowing her name. Then again, it wasn't like it could hurt anything. "Ming'we."
After giving her name she eyed him a bit more before she stood with one hip to the side. "And your name?" Fair was fair. She had given her name and now she wanted to know his. Mostly it was so they were on equal grounds in the conversation.

Huyana grinned when he got her name from her. Ming'we. It even sounded exotic. That grin of his grew wider when she seemed to become engaged in the conversation and asked for his name in return. Moving toward her he gently took her hand and lifted it to his lips so he could give it a simple kiss. Of course he made the move intimate by placing the kiss to her palm rather than the back of her hand. "My name is Huyana, my beautiful temptation." He may have been laying it on a little thick but who could blame him? He'd not come across such a creature before and she was gorgeous in his eyes.

Of course she hadn't expected him to do that! And oh what a that it was. The intimacy was something she craved. Ming'we blushed a bit. Not only was the kiss to her palm a surprise but her feelings were as well. Since when did she want intimacy? The blonde thought it had left with Isolder. Hit with a hiccup she looked at Huyana for a moment then tentatively she asked, "Temptation...?" Dare she even hope he meant in a physical way? Ming halted her thoughts there. No! How could she be thinking that so soon!? Without realizing it she groaned at herself. Ming'we pulled her hand away from the man and closed her fingers over the place he had kissed.

To say that he enjoyed her reaction would be an understatement. This was how women were supposed to be. Soft and sweet, beautiful after a compliment. Huy was farther enticed when she asked about his choice in words, but he didn't get to elaborate since she pulled away from him and groaned.
Furrowing his brow at her for a second he tried to think if there was something that he'd done wrong. No that couldn't be it. Huyana moved forward and gently took her hand back, stroking her wrist to get her to relax. "What's wrong?" He inquired. Even if she wouldn't fall to his charms he could at least make her feel better. "I am all ears if you need to get something out." And oddly enough he was curious about what could possibly ail someone as pretty as her.

There it was again. That intimacy that her body seemed to want. Even her mind wanted to be at peace with it but something kept stalling her. When he asked her the question and then offered his ear she smiled ruefully at him. "How can you be so nice to someone you just met?" Or how sensual. It didn't make sense to her but then again she wasn't used to guys like him. She was used to the goof balls like Isolder and Callum. The latter being a close friend and the former.. well, he was a former.
Still she shook her head and heaved a small sigh. "I didn't know that I wanted... this.." She gestured to his hand on hers. "Until now. I'm not sure what to do. Iso and I.. We just parted and yet here I am craving the touch of someone. It's pathetic." And wrong, right?

His shoulders came up half way then went back down. "Everyone is someone I just met eventually, but it doesn't mean they don't deserve my kindness." Huy wasn't sure he could truly be mean to someone, even if he just met them. Well, maybe if they were hurting someone he cared about. Huyana did have a bit of a mean streak then.
As she unloaded her thoughts on him he suddenly understood. She had just left a relationship and so felt shamed at how much she wanted intimate things. Huyana smiled and moved closer, forgoing her hand in favor of her waist. "It is not. It's natural. You lost someone and you want intimacy to replace it. I am more than willing to fill that void if you so wish." Who wouldn't be willing? This hybrid in his arms was a delight to behold! He preferred long hair but something about her shorter style drew him in. Not to mention her exotic color. And those markings!

He made it sound so easy. Like what she wanted was alright. Ming'we felt tears rush to the surface and she stared at the man in front of her for a moment. Would it really be so bad? Could it hurt anything for her to just give in and let someone else be strong for her? Just for a little while? "I lost everything in a matter of months... My family, my home, my lover..."
By talking to him it seemed like a proverbial dam had been unleashed. He was sweet and understanding. She was weak and damaged. The blonde lowered her eyes to the ground. She couldn't even look at herself half the time. "I am just so... angry. All the time. I hate it." What happened to her? She used to be fun loving!

Huyana was taken back by the tears and when one started to roll down her cheek he reached out and caught it. As he wiped it away he heard her words and could almost feel her pain and upset. So he did what he would do normally. Huy wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close. With one arm around her waist to give her comfort and his other on her shoulder he whispered to her. "Its normal to feel that way. Just let it go and be here with me for right now." He didn't know what was wrong with her deep down but he knew she was carrying a lot on her shoulders.

The affection she was being shown now was tender and it felt good. Ming decided that she needed it for the time being and so she didn't bother to pull away from him. Instead she gently wrapped her arms around Huyana.
Ming'we could feel her mind pushing back everything that was causing her to be so upset. In this moment she was herself and not everything that happened to her. For now, for just a little while, she could let this happen. This intimacy would be good for her.
Feeling bold now that she had come to accept that even her body and mind had needs she leaned up to steal a kiss from the man that held her in his arms. Ming'we knew his name. Knew that he was handsome. Knew that he brought with him a gentleness that she wanted. And that was enough.

He was pleased to see that she didn't want to fight the affection. In his eyes everyone deserved love like this. Unconditional and spontaneous. It wasn't until she stole a kiss from him, however, that he started to crave other things. Huy returned the kiss, turning the would be thief into a recipient. Of course it wouldn't simply stop there.
Huyana wanted to show this jaded heart what it was like to be loved as who she was. His hand moved from their earlier positions to something more risque and his attentions became slightly more sensual. Before too long they would be moving away from the road to find privacy.

As the sun sank behind the horizon Ming looked among the grasses. "Have you seen my other sandal?" The blonde was curious as to where it could have gone. It wasn't like they had thrown it anywhere.
Running a hand through her hair she felt that there was some sticks and leaves in there. Giving a sheepish smile she set to work on brushing them out as her eyes continued to search for the elusive shoe. Ming'we would need to find that before she started to travel again. The spiky grass in Tale could be unforgiving at times. Not to mention when she got to Sauti she would be on a mostly rocky terrain.
