V'demhe could see the hate that lurked in Ming'we's eyes. She wasn't at all sure what she had done to deserve it but there was no way she was not going to defend herself. The only thing that bothered her was that she was having to do so against a sister. Granted this was a hybrid sister, but she was a daughter of Aisha non-the-less. Adjusting her grip on her dual blades she could feel her antennae shiver. The anger that this sister had seemed to roll off her in waves. Before there could be any real damage done to her she went in for the attack. Of course she used the flat side of her blades rather than the deadly one. If she could avoid it then Dem wouldn't hurt this woman. At least not fatally.

She had been too busy glaring. Too focused on emitting waves of hate toward this pureblood Alkidike. The disgust she felt for this woman was unimaginable. And then the attack came. Ming'we was taken off guard and ended up getting hit full on by the flat of the blade in the side of the head, a blow that could have done more damage had the Alkidike used the sharper side. Despite that she tried to attack. The blow caused her to be a little dazed and in her attempts to strike back she ended up hurting herself instead. A scream of frustration came from her.

"What has gotten into you Ming'we?" V'demhe looked at her a bit worriedly. Last she had met this hybrid she hadn't been so bitter. When she noticed Ming going for her weapon she reacted quickly. Right as the half Alkidike, half Sauti hybrid hit herself V'demhe couldn't pull her attack. Dem regretted being so rash but those bolts looked sharp and she didn't want to be pulling one out of her shoulder.

"Shut up! Don't act like you know who I am!" Ming called out. When V'demhe came at her again she was more aware and was able to avoid the full blow but still took some damage from the swing. Rather than try to attack again she dropped to the ground and struck out her leg in an attempt to trip Dem. "You filthy Alkidike!" Her rage was clouding most of her judgment today.

Filthy!? V'demhe gave pause as she heard the insult leave Ming's mouth only to have the hybrid trip her. As she came crashing to the ground she kicked her foot out and tried to render Ming'we's leg useless. If nothing else she could leave a bruise in retaliation of being called a filthy alkidike. "Excuse you! You are half Alkidike!" She pointed out with a painly obvious gesture toward Ming's antennae.

The blow to her leg made her wince but since they were both on the ground she made a move to attack. Having managed to load her weapon earlier when she'd injured herself she brought it around and took aim at V'demhe's chest. "I denounced ties to the Alkidikes when they forsake me and left me for dead!" Without a second thought Ming pulled the trigger on her crossbow and sent a bolt flying right at the woman.

Her eyes went wide when she heard Ming'we's words. Alkidikes had left her for dead!? Her antennae drooped a little. Knowing what had recently happened in the world she knew this wasn't a lie. Before she could respond she found herself looking down the sights of a crossbow then.. Twang! Thunk! A scream left Dem as she fell back to the ground and dropped one blade to grab at the bolt that now stuck out from her chest. Luckily it had missed anything vital. But great mother it hurt! "Damned it all, Ming'we! I didn't forsake you!" Unable to make a swing with her weapons she shot her foot out again, only this time she was aiming at the hybrid's face. While she didn't want to hurt her she also wanted to live.

She took the kick to the face and it split her lip open. Ming'we didn't care. There was a hatred inside her that needed to be seen and she would start by taking out some of the so called sisters! She shifted and took the opportunity given to her to load her crossbow once again before leveling it at V'demhe and placing her finger on the trigger. "It doesn't matter. All Alkidikes are the same." When she pulled on the trigger and set the bolt loose it missed. She hadn't noticed that she was swaying from the blow she'd taken. Cursing Alks and Aisha she went to load her weapon again.
