V'demhe Post 1

It seemed like this rumor of extremists had spread pretty far. Or at least it had made it to the main land. She hadn't gotten a very comforting welcome when she'd arrived. Not that it was bad, just.. lacking. It seemed that those of her race were being given a wide berth my those that feared being attacked and even those that wanted to start fights. Though the latter seemed to just glare and spit at the ground. V'demhe had crossed the waters to Jauhar to find her friend Teiluj and make sure she wasn't being assaulted by others for her mixed race. If need be then she would defend her colorful friend.

As she walked, trying her best to remember the way to Tei's house, she passed through a marketplace and heard the disturbance. Both her antennae and ears seemed to twitch. She knew that sound. Fighting. With a frown she moved toward where it was happening, though it looked like she had caught the tail end of it all. As people dispersed and went about their business she caught sight of a body on the ground somewhat curled. Lifting a brow she waited until everyone had gone before she stepped closer to the body. "Need help?"

Ming'we Post 1

As she uncurled, doing her best to determine how long she would be limping to get home, Ming'we took note of a pair of feet coming her way. They were Alkidike and they made her cringe a bit as she expected to be assaulted again. Only, the voice that came down from the warrior race asked if she needed help. She blinked and looked up at the face of the girl that stood before her. "That'd be nice.." It seemed she was right. There were good people in the world after all. Holding her hand up, expecting the girl to take it and pull her to her feet, she took a deep breath and sighed. "I didn't fight back.." She mumbled. As if it would justify her injuries and why she would need help to begin with.

She nodded her head. "I can tell." Dem wanted to know why she hadn't fought back but decided not to ask. When the girl held her hand out the pure alkidike shook her head. From the injuries that were visible she guessed that the female could barely walk. So instead she bent down and as gently as she could V'demhe simply picked her up off the ground. Holding her in her arms easily she looked around. "Which way you going?" It wasn't what she had expected to be doing, or rather it was just with the wrong person, so she didn't seem all that interested. While she was aware of the small girl in her arms she didn't seem to look at her over much. It was the last thing she needed really, to like another person. She already had a crush on Teiluj and Aselia.

"Ah!" As the alkidike picked her up off the ground she did her best to cling, not wanting to be dropped on the ground. It would not be a welcome addition to her other bruises. Clearing her throat and looking up at V'demhe she'd move an arm and point. "That way, if you don't mind." While it was awkward for her to be carried by an Alkidike she didn't argue with it. She was enjoying that she might actually be accepted by one of her mother's full blooded sisters. Or at the very least not hated. "Thank you, for your help. It was very nice of you." Giving the female a smile Ming'we shifted so that she could lean her head on the the girl's shoulder.

Hearing the girl in her arms thank her she did her best to lift her shoulders in a shrug without moving her too much. "It's nothing really. I'm not an extremist." Knowing now which direction to walk she would do so. Others seemed to stare at her and her passenger but Dem ignored them. If anything the earthlings would view it as her taking care of her own. The other Alkidikes would just find her to be an odd one. Which she very well might be. In her eyes there was nothing wrong with the mixing of races so long as Aisha blessed the coupling. Obviously the great mother had done just that with this girl and one of her crushes.

Hearing that she wasn't in the arms of an extremist helped her to relax a bit more. At least she knew now that she wasn't being carried to her death. Giving a small chuckle she'd cuddle in as close to the female as possible. Maybe Jauhar wouldn't be so bad after all. If there were more people like this around. "Oh, I'm Ming'we by the way." She turned her head up so that she could see the pure blood's face and judge her reaction to learning the name of the one she held. Oddly, Ming'we was hoping she would be pleased. Maybe this was her alkidike heritage kicking in and making her like females? Well wouldn't that be awkward, to fall for a complete stranger simply because they were nice.

V'demhe Post 4

As the girl in her arms gave her name V'demhe looked down at her. "My name is V'demhe." It was here that she offered a smile to the girl. Ironically this Ming'we had eyes like hers but they were a stunning dark blue. Something she could get lost in. So to avoid that Dem gave a small cough and looked back at where she was walking. "So how far are we going?" She wondered where it was she was taking the mixling. A healer would be a good idea, but Dem didn't know any. Or at least, not here. If it were the Isles she'd know where to go. "You might need to have your injuries looked at." She mentioned off hand.

Now that was a name. Certainly wouldn't be one someone got mixed up with anothers or even forgot. As V'demhe asked her how far they were going she felt her cheeks blush before she realized that she was talking about their destination. "Wha- Oh! It's the fifth house.. just there." Ming'we had been distracted by the Alkidike long enough that she hadn't even thought about what her mother would say about seeing her in the arms of a pureblood. She struggled a little, trying to get down to her feet. "I can walk from here." Ming'we didn't believe her words even for a second, but she needed to convince V'demhe of them.

She looked down at Ming'we when she started to struggle. Dem made sure to keep a tight hold on her without actually causing harm. With a lifted brow she waited for the female to stop trying to get free. "If I put you on your feet you'll fall over." With a shake of her head V'demhe looked back up to see where she was going. Identifying the house she headed right for it. Glancing back down at the girl in her arms she'd take note of the pink color in her cheeks and give a smirk. Interesting. Before she could be caught staring she looked away from her.

The Alkidike had been caught. Ming'we had seen the smirk on her face and it caused a skip in her heart beat. Was this how her mother had felt when she'd seen the beautiful wind earthling? No, that had been actual love, this was lust at best. Deciding to be bold she'd reach up and twist one of V'demhe's dreads around her finger. "Well, thank you for being my knight in... very little armor." She purred her words out at the girl and grinned. Now she was flirting. And she wanted a taste of that lip ring that seemed to keep bringing her gaze back to V'demhe's lips.

V'demhe Post 6

A snort came from her at Ming'we's words. Little armor indeed. V'demhe wore none, actually. And she wasn't so sure she ever would. However, her thoughts were turned to a different subject as she noticed her hair was being played with. Lifting a brow she'd look down at the mixling in her arms. "Do you mind? I usually don't like other's playing with my hair." Usually. There were a few people she could see herself making an exception for. When they reached the house that Ming'we had pointed out to her she moved to set the female down, making sure to be careful of her injuries.

She gave a frown when V'demhe told her that she didn't let others touch her hair. Ming'we let go of the dread she had been playing with about the same time that she was being set down on her feet. Of course her body was still sore, so she gave a grunt of pain and a wince, but she did what she could to stay upright. "Thanks again, V'demhe." Ming'we gave her best smile to the alkidike. "Do you want to come in?" She almost blushed as she gave the offer.

V'demhe Post 7

Noticing the painful look in Ming'we's eyes she kept her hands on the girl's shoulders to help keep her balanced though she was poised to catch her if she ended up falling. V'demhe smiled at her and gave a nod of her head. "I told you it was nothing. Next time try to fight back though.." Now the teen Alkidike was eyeing Ming'we with a bit of concern. Should she have insisted on taking her to a healer? Or maybe she should see who was home and able to care for her. It would slow her down as far as the purpose for her trip, but she wasn't sure she could leave Ming'we like this without first making sure she'd be looked after. Taking her lip ring into her mouth she'd gnaw on it a bit before releasing it. "There is someone here to take care of you right?"

She shook her head as V'demhe told her to fight back. "No, it wasn't their fault really. It was just their upbringing." Ming'we lifted a shoulder to show she didn't blame them. Of course she likely would have fought back had her brother been there with her. She was protective of him. Sometimes too protective. She was about to say something else when her eyes were once again caught by the lip ring and her attention centered around the girl's lips. Not wanting time to second guess herself or give V'demhe time to resist, she leaned in and took her own turn at playing with the metal ring. Of course this resulted in a kiss but she was thrilled with it.

V'demhe Post 8

At first she didn't understand what Ming'we was saying. Not their fault. But as she said it was part of how they were raised she had to agree. V'demhe had been raised by a mother that was as forgiving and accepting as Aisha was. It wasn't always looked upon in a good light either. She wasn't afforded time to respond or even think on it any farther as Ming'we had distracted her well enough with what she was doing to her lip ring. Dem wanted to ask her what she was doing and why but the play turned into a kiss and she went completely still. What was she supposed to do? When her brain caught up to what was happening she gently but firmly pushed at Ming'we's shoulders to get her to stop kissing her. Words failed her however.
