Equestrianism || Jolene has been showing horses since she was ten and could enter, but has been riding since she was six and her parents let her start on ponies. She has always been good with animals, and horses particularly, and showing seemed natural, as far as she was concerned.
Cheesy Romance || ......Jolene will never admit to this, but she absolutely loves cheesy romance, from genuinely good romcoms to dorky Hallmark Christmas movies to ridiculous Harlequin paperbacks. Deep down, Jolene is a bit of a romantic, and she loves indulging.
Virtues:
Confident || Jolene is, in her own mind, beautiful, intelligent, quick-witted, and absolutely a delight. How true any of that is may be up for debate, but her self-confidence is not. It’s difficult to shake her, and she’s unlikely to stress just because someone poked at her flaws. No, she isn’t perfect, no one is...but Jolene likes to think she’s making the effort to get there, and that confidence carries her.
Refined || Politeness and sophistication are key to staying ahead in Jolene’s world, and she considers herself a master of both. It’s difficult to catch her outright saying an unkind word about someone, and she works hard to be as cultured and knowledgeable as she can be on subjects like art, music, and anything else that might come up at a party over cocktails (or mocktails, in her case.)
Flaws:
Pretentious || As a member of the upper class, it is of course important that Jolene be as cultured as possible, with an on-tap knowledge of everything from art to wine to politics, and to have an opinion on all of it. In other words, she’s incredibly, annoyingly pretentious, and isn’t afraid to act as if her often-shallow knowledge of a subject is the be-all end-all. Gotta impress people at those fancy parties, after all.
Arrogant || Look. Jolene knows that she’s awesome, and knows that she’s special and privileged and just....a cut above everyone else. And she’s not afraid to act like it. Everyone else is a little bit lesser in her eyes, and it shows in the way she interacts with people. Usually she isn’t so rude as to blatantly put others down, but the stink of condescension definitely lingers.

Weapon & Magic
Page Weapon: A small suncatcher on a chain
Squire Weapon: A larger, round suncatcher on a chain
Magic: Caer Sidi holds up her suncatcher, and she and allies within 8 feet of her are surrounded by shimmering starlight shields. For as long as she is channeling, anyone affected by her magic is protected from incoming physical damage, and magical damage caused by those her rank or lower; it will simply glance off the starlight shield. Damage from magic cast by those higher rank than her will have reduced damage, but can still break through. Caer Sidi can channel for up to 35 seconds at Squire stage.
Knight Weapon: A round shield made of stained glass
Magic: Caer Sidi holds up her shield, and she and allies within 12 feet of her are surrounded by shimmering starlight shields. For as long as she is channeling, anyone affected by her magic is protected from incoming physical damage, and magical damage caused by those her rank or lower; it will simply glance off the starlight shield. Damage from magic cast by those higher rank than her will have reduced damage, but can still break through. As a Knight, her magic also protects targets from nondamaging but negative magical effects (such as magic that induces negative emotions or drains energy). Caer Sidi can channel for up to 50 seconds at Knight stage.
Summons --
Sêr, an owl who seems to be made of the night sky, with deep blue feathers dappled with silver points of stars. Each time she’s summoned, she reflects a different part of the night sky.
Magic: Caer Sidi can share Sêr’s awareness, seeing through her eyes and hearing with her ears. However, this has a limited range—at its very maximum, a hundred feet—and Caer Sidi is left unaware of her own physical surroundings while sharing Sêr’s eyes. If Caer is struck or otherwise startled or attacked, she will lose the connection, and will be disoriented for a few seconds after it breaks.
Caer Sidi is Oathsworn; her Oathmark appears on the back of her right hand, and is a five-pointed star formed out of a Celtic knot, encircled. Her Oath is:
"I swear, as the Knight of Caer Sidi, that I will not lay down and let harm come to any innocent person while I can protect them. From this moment on, I will stand for those weaker than I, and be their shield against the darkness."
It was sworn in a battle against Lt. Atheneite.

A tower, spiraling into the sky, in which there was an ancient treasure hoard and a great library. The Knight lived a solitary existence, expected to remain in the tower for her entire life, isolated from the greater world, except for her brief time at the Knight Academy.
