Queen Laurelite

User Image

Laurelite arrived in Destiny City as a General Queen in 2010, along with fellow General Queen Apatite and General King Marthozite. She originally served in Europe and is well known for her research in crystals.

For many years, Laurelite was a valuable asset to the Negaverse and followed the order of Beryl—the Queen of the Negaverse, and Metallia's strongest warrior. When Queen Beryl's selfishness compromised the order of the Negaverse, Metallia destroyed her. Though Laurelite remained a General Queen for well over a year after Beryl's destruction, after Negaspace was viciously invaded by a hoard of Senshi, Knights and Mauvians, Metallia realized how necessary a leader was.

Though Laurelite was badly injured during the invasion, she was recovered. Her injuries were so great it took months just to heal her—and the aid of the entire Negaverse to grant her the strength she needed to become Queen.

After restoring her health and helping craft a new weapon for her, Metallia granted her a new power: the power of a sorceress.

The power of a Queen.

Laurelite has since fully replaced the fallen Queen Beryl and is fulfilling her duties as the rightful leader of the Negaverse. She spends nearly all of her time in Negaspace; though she is immensely powerful, her body is still that of a human. Using her immense energy comes at a great cost to her, though Negaspace constantly recharges and sustains her. She spends much of her time tending to the important needs of the Negaverse and issues General Sovereigns cannot tend to. While she continues her research on crystals, being Queen is a time consuming job. She has forfeited all aspects of her civilian life.

Hobbies:

Crystals - Laurelite has a deep fondness for crystals; they were her primary focus from early on, and her research quickly garnered much attention. Laurelite has weaponized crystals and has made advancements in the technological field with them; the crystal computers in the Castle were created based on her work in the field. While she is busy maintaining Negaverse duties, Laurelite still has a fascination with Rift Crystals and the energy and power they possess. Working with crystals is the only luxury she allows herself; otherwise she is buried in work for the betterment of the Negaverse.

Virtues:

Calm -- It is difficult to rile Laurelite up; she is collected and assesses each situation with an otherworldly calmness. She is rarely shaken and is capable of separating personal feelings from a situation to ensure the best possible outcome. Laurelite is almost always in complete control of her emotions and uses this ability to keep a clear head at all times.

Wise -- Laurelite has always seemed older than her age; she assesses situations and learns from her mistakes, and the mistakes of others. Using her extensive knowledge and learned experience, she is capable of making rational decisions in even the most stressful of situations. She typically gives good advice and has good judgment.

Patient -- Greatness isn't born overnight; it takes time to cultivate. Days, months, years; Laurelite knows that the best results don't come from a rushed outcome. She knows that mistakes will be made, and she knows that hard work will pay off—eventually. She gives second chances, and thirds, but expects progress and improvement.

Flaws:

Detached -- Laurelite has completely lost her civilian life and understands how easily life can be lost. While she cares greatly for Metallia and the success of the Negaverse, Laurelite does not have many strong bonds outside of this. Emotions tend to create distractions, and in her position she knows she cannot afford to lose focus. While she is able to put on an extremely convincing front, Laurelite does not seem to feel any emotions strongly. She is difficult to connect with on a personal level but her extremely convincing smile makes for an impenetrable façade.

Dedicated -- Work is Laurelite's life. She lacks the ability to give up and will pursue a mission until she sees the end of it. She does not believe in giving up and at the expense of her time and health, she will not stop until her work is done. She is prideful and takes on great tasks without asking for aid; if she has applied herself to something, she puts everything she has into it. Blinded by the mission, she sometimes loses sight of dangers and forgets to take care of herself.

Arrogant -- Laurelite is incredibly prideful, though her soft, sweet demeanor greatly softens the visibility of this trait. She cannot admit defeat and will not accept her own failures. Laurelite will push herself beyond reasonable limitations and loses sight of rationality when pushed to prove herself.

Weapon: A giant scythe that she is capable of wielding with great skill. The shattered starseed of the former Queen Beryl is held in a magic crystal orb at the top of her scythe. She is capable of channeling great magical attacks from this orb.

Abilities: As Queen of the Negaverse and direct conduit of Metallia, Laurelite has many abilities! She has all the powers of a General Soverign, only stronger:

  • Immense speed and strength, though at the cost of a normal life. Her body is a conduit for Metallia's energy and she has a huge energy signature. She pulsates Chaos in her civilian form, and after a few hours above ground her body begins to weaken and grow ill until she returns to Negaspace.
  • Teleportation to nearly anywhere, provided she has a clear mental image of where she wants to go. This is not limited to Earth, however she herself must have been at the location before she can teleport. She cannot teleport based off of a description or a photograph.
  • Corruption of any Order member; she can corrupt as many people at one time and is not bound by the rules of a General Soverign. She does not show sign of weakness after a corruption.
  • The control of all youma—including Greater Youma. They will not question any command of hers. She can summon armies of youma, and can youmafy up to a room full of people easily.

After absorbing the power of Beryl's starseed, Laurelite has also gained the following powers:

  • Energy Blasts: Laurelite can aim her spear at someone and fire orbs of Chaotic energy from the Crystal Ball at the top of her scythe.
  • Wind Waves: When Laurelite swings her scythe, she can send a wall of wind to follow the curve of her slice.
  • Lightning Strike: A ray of chaotic energy can be channeled from the crystal ball at the tip of her scythe. This energy looks like black and purple lightning and the effects are similar.
  • Laurelite is still learning her new powers; when she discovers them they will be added to this list!

Roleplaying with Laurelite:

Laurelite is available for roleplay, however this is by special request! Because Laurelite oversees the Negaverse, she is almost always busy. She oversees the General Kings and Queens and will resolve conflict between any General Soverigns or deal with Agents who are having an issue with one of the General Sovereigns. Laurelite is calm and understanding on an individual level; she believes in supporting your allies, but she will not accept failure. Laurelite does not distribute punishment herself but expects an agent to improve.

Constant failures severe enough to warrant her decision may result in severe consequences, but for the most part Laurelite plays a backseat role while the General Sovereigns handle most of the interaction with other Agents of the Negaverse.

Laurelite has immense power and will rarely get involved in battle due to the strain it puts on her body. She is only human and her body as adapting to taking in the amount of Chaos Metallia has bestowed on her. Laurelite can mostly be found in the Chaos, doing paperwork, tinkering with the large Crystals in Negaspace, or getting reports from the higher ranked agents.

If you'd like a roleplay with Laurelite, please consider if she is the best candidate! In most situations there will be a General Sovereign better or equally suited to roleplay with!
